I think I'm out this month. I've just had some more spotting. Yesterday it was pink, whereas just now it's red, so I think it's the start of AF and she's coming a couple of days early. That's a bummer 😕 if I'd have conceived this month my due date would be DHs birthday, which would have made it a bit more special.

@DancingNancies I’ve always used mid-stream tests in the past, particularly clear blue (both early and regular, not the digital ones). I’ve found them to be reliable and I’ve got good strong lines when positive.

This time round I’m using IC and so having to dip. I find it a bit of a faff and prefer just peeing on a stick but they are so much cheaper so I’m going with it!

Yes - my first two pregnancies (with my ex husband) were similar apart from the level of sickness but my last one with my current partner was very different - though that could be because it’s with someone different or because there was something wrong. We’ll never know, I guess.

I’m trying very hard to ignore anything that could be a symptom and just wait for Sunday. If there’s no AF by Sunday I’ll let myself buy some better tests 😂

@Downtherabbithole83 Maybe it’s just early for us all. Maybe in the next few days they will all come to light. I’m torn between giving up hope and enjoying the surprise (if it happens) and being so positive that I manifest a BFP 😂🙈

I’ve never had a baby before but they do also say that your pregnancies won’t necessarily be the same. I have friends with more than one child who couldn’t have had more different pregnancies.

@MrsL22 I admire your positivity! The (lack of) symptoms I have are definitely not the same as when I’ve been pregnant previously. I’m also at a point where I feel I can’t allow myself to get my hopes up - better to assume the worst and if I get a surprise BFP then that will be delightful!

Like you, I was really surprised at the lack of BFPs in the group this morning. Statistically I would have expected a few more!

But I’ve also been running and not drinking enough so a bit dehydrated which probably isn’t helping that issue.

I’m very ‘emotionally on-edge’ this evening which is very normal for me in the days before AF so I’m expecting to go out of the running any time between now and Sunday!

@Pitstop1986 as with seemingly everything pregnancy-related, I think it varies person to person. With my pregnancy in September, I had noticeably more CM than I have usually and it was more like on my fertile days. Having said that, with my previous two pregnancies I don’t remember any difference at all really…

What's the difference between cm just before AF pregnant v not pregnant? Can anyone give any insights?

Starting to finally feel a little better today although been sleeping terribly still.

Noticed more watery CM and cervix is soft and closed. Hoping that it is a good sign?!

I've had a hideous cold for the last month so I feel like I've no idea what's a potential symptom and what isn't 😂

Just wasted a test which came up as a BFN as expected...got to hold now to see if AF makes an appearance before I disappoint myself any further! 🙄

I feel like I'm coming down with a cold. Pretty sure muscle aches aren't a symptom of pregnancy though!

@Downtherabbithole83 I've got sainsburys cheapo sticks, 2 for £3.50 so not the cheapest but not mega money either. Will continue with these tbh as I can get more and hopefully compare!

What have people found best in terms of dipping or using the 'stream' as it were? I feel like I was more confident in seeing a line yesterday when I dipped (after holding for about three hours!) than I was this morning with FMU stream - does it make a difference?

Fingers crossed for them negatives turning into positives in the next 2 or 3 days!

I tested negative on DPO 10 and then faint positive on day 11. It's taken until day 14 for me to be say I have a proper strong frer line.

I’m due on Sunday so am happy to join the Friday testers if AF hasn’t arrived early. I would try and tag everyone in this but I’ve literally lost track of everyone - there’s so many of us now! Loving this thread ❤️

🤞 for Friday/Saturday. Just out of interest, what is everyone testing on? I’m just using IC for now.

@Pitstop1986 oh yes I’m proof of this! My first pregnancy I got a positive at 8dpo, my second, it was negative right until 13dpo ! I actually had an implantation bleed on day 10. Unfortunately second pregnancy ended in miscarriage but yes, I believe the 8dpo was super rare and actually we just need to try our hardest to be patient!

I think I’m going to try and hold out until Saturday morning but if everyone does Friday I’ll just be late to the club ha x
