Hi,

Currently trying for DC 2, already have a 2 year old DS.

I should have ovulated today 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Anyone else entering the TWW? Due AF 7th Jan but will probably end up testing a couple days before 😄

I work in operating theatres. Not quite a teacher, but I do feel very in synch with everyone!

The two positives were early on Alysskea and LAgedRaisin... They seem to have dropped off the chat.

I was looking at my Flo app from when I got pregnant with DD. I tested around my due date (although cycles varied from 28-33 days) I tested at CD 30 and nothing. Got a BFP on CD 35. I wasn't tracking ovulation that month, but let's say CD 30 was 12 dpo, I got my BFP at around 17dpo!!! So there's still hope for everyone, as long as AF hasn't yet arrived!

Unfortunately that month was the only one that I didn't track ovulation or symptoms. I had just had my COVID vaccine and there was a lot of talk about early miscarriage following the vaccine, so I gave myself a month off trying... Really wasn't expecting to fall pregnant at all! 😂 I wish I had tracked symptoms and tested more, so that this time around I know what I'm looking for!

Downtherabbithole83 · 06/01/2023 22:12

@MrsL22 I haven’t gone down that road yet… saving it for later 😂 It would improve my graph though 🤔

Seriously though, I believe that if you are up and down during the night then it affects it and between my children and my need to pee every night I’m not sure my data would be very reliable!

MrsL22 · 06/01/2023 22:10

@Downtherabbithole83 meant to say ‘do you temp?’
or monitor bbt

MrsL22 · 06/01/2023 22:10

@Downtherabbithole83 exactly!
so you temp? I’ve just been checking LH but hear so many people mention temping as a good indicator?

Downtherabbithole83 · 06/01/2023 22:05

But I LOVE my LH graph possibly more than I love POAS… I don’t think I can give it up anytime soon! 🤦‍♀️

October would work because they won’t give you much to do in September just to rearrange it a few weeks later… in a primary school you wouldn’t get a class: winner! 😂

MrsL22 · 06/01/2023 21:50

@cdn298 wow that’s a big group! I love that. Women supporting women it’s what I love to see!

@DancingNancies exactly my thinking!! Would have been perfect but definitely think I’m out this month. I guess an October baby wouldn’t be too bad… back in time for Summer 😂

@Downtherabbithole83 thats so funny! Maybe it’s our downfall because maths means monitoring and measuring and graphing and maybe that’s what we need to stop doing 😂🙈

Downtherabbithole83 · 06/01/2023 21:43

@MrsL22 and @DancingNancies what are the chances?!??

Just to add to the coincidences… Maths is my main subject! That’s why I love the Premom app so much… graphs!!!

cdn298 · 06/01/2023 21:41

I was in a group on here when I was pregnant with DS. We then went on to a fb group, there was about 50 of us. Then 20 of us went on to a WhatsApp group and we still speak everyday! I absolutely love it x

@Downtherabbithole83 also maternity leave would work out beautifully with a september baby...back to work in July (I have 2 August babies so am well versed in well-timed mat leave!)

MrsL22 · 06/01/2023 21:39

@DancingNancies ahhhh no way! Maybe that’s why this thread works so well 😂 we are in tune

MrsL22 · 06/01/2023 21:39

@Downtherabbithole83 😂😂😂😂 now I get it!

DancingNancies · 06/01/2023 21:38

@MrsL22 @Downtherabbithole83 teacher here too, secondary science in Bedfordshire.

The stress levels on this chat must be sky high, even after a short first week back 😂

Downtherabbithole83 · 06/01/2023 21:36

@MrsL22 That’s why I really needed this month to work… next chances are half-term and the Easter hols 😂🤦‍♀️

MrsL22 · 06/01/2023 21:33

@Downtherabbithole83 That’s amazing! Wow. Head of school. Where do you find the time to TTC 😂🙈

Downtherabbithole83 · 06/01/2023 21:32

@MrsL22 Im a teacher too! Head of school at a Primary School in Norfolk - must be mad.

MrsL22 · 06/01/2023 21:20

Haha well in that case, seeing as we are here for the long haul, what does everyone do? Where’s everyone from? 😂

I’m a secondary maths teacher from Lancashire (and I wonder why my stress levels are so high and I can’t conceive 🫠)

Downtherabbithole83 · 06/01/2023 20:56

@MrsL22 I’ve seen that some of these groups continue through to when people actually have their babies (multiple threads with the same names added to continue) so don’t worry - you’re not getting rid of us easily 😂

MrsL22 · 06/01/2023 20:53

@DancingNancies the cost will pay off when we have a beautiful bundle of joy in our arms.

@Downtherabbithole83 i wonder how long we will all be here. I really hope not too long but then I feel like I need you all in my life 😂🙈

@MexicanDrinkingWorm welcome to the crazy club 🤪 I also have the £8 for 25 from Amazon. Less guilty - although I’ve done frer Wednesday and today and still negative!

I’m reading lots of other cases of people testing negative on frer right up until 14-17dpo!! Guess it really is true it’s not over until AF arrives.

I’ve lost track - how many BFPs have we had in here? Who are they??

DancingNancies · 06/01/2023 20:48

@MexicanDrinkingWorm my apologies, I have no self control so I drag everyone into the chaos with me 😂

@Downtherabbithole83 I can't help but think about the ridiculous cost of them, and when you eventually get a BFP the money spent on tests that could be spent on a baby - 😱

@MrsL22 I feel the same, keep checking back to see if anyone's updated yet!

Downtherabbithole83 · 06/01/2023 20:46

It really is the best @MrsL22 - I’m genuinely pleased whenever I get notified that someone has written something else on here!

MrsL22 · 06/01/2023 20:33

Despite the BFNs, this group is still the best and the support is amazing. I’m so hopeful for all of us and glad we can all go through this together

Downtherabbithole83 · 06/01/2023 20:23

Sorry about your BFNs ladies - not a great track record for this group this cycle… but not a lot of proper AFs yet either so it could still happen.

@DancingNancies I’m using the IC from Amazon for this very reason: £8 for 20 or 25 I think! Makes me feel less guilty about wasting them… before my pregnancy last time I was using more expensive ones and felt guilty for spending so much money on them.

MexicanDrinkingWorm · 06/01/2023 20:02

Ahhh you’ve all made me cave and do one a day earlier than planned!! @DancingNancies i blame you 😂
Just done one, still negative, not looking good for me this cycle either!

Pitstop1986 · 06/01/2023 19:48

I got a negative pregnancy test and a blank circle on the ovulation test.

The confusion continues!

DancingNancies · 06/01/2023 19:41

@Downtherabbithole83 I did exactly the same...was trying to hold out then curiosity got the better of me! Did a test, oddly faint/imaginary line again so still none the wiser. Crampy all week, awful skin, all things that would suggest AF is on the way so let's hope tomorrow is a decisive day, one way or the other!

No more tests left now though so will have to pop to the supermarket and get some...I'm going for the £1 for 2 option this time though, can't afford to have a POAS obsession with the others 😂
