Hi,

Currently trying for DC 2, already have a 2 year old DS.

I should have ovulated today 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Anyone else entering the TWW? Due AF 7th Jan but will probably end up testing a couple days before 😄

@Pitstop1986
My husband is the same after a couple of days in a row 😂 then give him a day or 2 off and he’s moaning he hasn’t had it 🤣
I’m not planning on testing until my period is due/late this cycle so that’s around 8th feb x

Pitstop1986 · 28/01/2023 14:51

@SimplyChic I'd ask the doctor to do a blood test just to put your mind at ease. It's a quick and simple thing for your doctor to arrange and it means that you won't be going mad with worry

Me and husband had a bit of an insurance bonk this morning, just incase I'm ovulating late this month. Poor thing is exhausted so I think he's happy that he can get a rest for a couple of weeks now!
I'm cd 21 and usually ovulate day 17/18

So I'm hoping that I'm in the 2ww now. When is everyone testing this month?

Downtherabbithole83 · 28/01/2023 12:06

@SimplyChic , it can’t hurt to ask. Especially if you are normally regular.

SimplyChic · 28/01/2023 09:39

@Mrsrobinsonx when I Google, it says more than 3 periods missed in a row to be looked at, so would they do anything until then? I've only missed one and just over half way through the second half of the next cycle so I haven't even 'missed' my second one yet x

Mrsrobinsonx · 28/01/2023 09:34

@SimplyChic
I think a trip to the doctors would be useful! At least they could do some tests to check hormones or make sure everything looks good? It’s a long while with no period or ovulation x

SimplyChic · 27/01/2023 23:44

Still waiting for AF now cycle day 48 and no ovulation yet I don't think, how long until I need to worry? Definitely not pregnant and concerned it's hurting our chances of TTC ☹️

Downtherabbithole83 · 27/01/2023 20:37

That all sounds promising @MrsL22 ! 🤞 indeed!

@Pitstop1986 My ewcm was definitely a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ event this month and I had it one day before my LH surge started according to my opks and then none really during… not sure if that’s a bad sign. I definitely used to be much more aware of it so I’m wondering if I’m having less as I’m getting older (which is just a tad depressing for many reasons, not just the wrinkles 😂)

MrsL22 · 27/01/2023 16:57

Well I think I’m definitely ovulating. Lots of EWCM yesterday and today I had about two hours sharp pain on one side. Dtd last night so may have timed that one perfectly. 🤞🏼
Still no done any OPKs so don’t know for sure but I think my body is telling me

Pitstop1986 · 27/01/2023 10:08

No ewcm yet for me. I'm cd 20 today so I'm thinking maybe I just didn't make a lot or ovulation is late this month. Me and DH are going to dtd either tonight or in the morning to make sure, but it is quite strange.

I've ordered some methylfolate so I think I'm going to just take that and vitamin d as I think that the conception vitamins are messing up my cycle. I eat relatively well so hoping that I get everything that I need from my diet and so I'll be fine.

Lots of girls starting their 2ww. Exciting times ahead (after the loooong 2 weeks!)

MrsSprouse · 26/01/2023 12:23

@SimplyChic yeah that's the same times I did my opks too, hope you get a positive soon

@Livingonhope sorry about Af, it's always hard when she comes but also it puts an end to the waiting and guessing for me. I hope you're OK x

I'm fully in the 2 week wait now, period due in 8 days and I don't think I have any symptoms tbh. I had bad cramping a few days ago and now i just have horrible nausea and I'm exhausted, but I have a horrid cold so I think that's what's causing it. Can technically use a frer on the weekend, but I'm going to hold off until next Friday as i don't want to get my hopes up x

Mrsrobinsonx · 26/01/2023 07:37

@Downtherabbithole83 I’m planning not to test until period is due/late but yeah last month I ended up taking about 4 tests as I started early, it’s so hard!

@Livingonhope I have been taking them tablets since I started trying (October) and my cycles have been very regular, ovulation and period always within a couple of days the same time each month. X

Downtherabbithole83 · 25/01/2023 22:10

@Livingonhope sorry that AF arrived but also, yay to AF arriving. Such mixed emotions each time it arrives when you’re trying… ttc is such a rollercoaster!

I take the seven seas tablets and have done since my tfmr (so just over two months now). I don’t think they’ve affected me negatively in any way…

Livingonhope · 25/01/2023 22:06

@Downtherabbithole83 thank you for checking in! I had a dramatic few days still no sign of AF panicking as def not pregnant and was worried something was up as I'm always bang on time so booked a doctors appointment and bo AF came about an hour ago! however I started taking the seven seas pre conception tablets a few weeks back and I have seen loads say this changed their cycle so now thinking that COULD be why AF was late....has anyone else had this or can recommend a substitute?

@Downtherabbithole83 good luck this this cycle hoping to hear plenty of good news to keep us all positive!

Downtherabbithole83 · 25/01/2023 21:54

Sounds like lots of us are in the TWW or about to head into it. Hoping we all get lucky this month 🤞

I’m 2dpo - that’s too early to start testing, right?! Hahaha! I am aiming to wait for 10dpo but I didn’t make it that long last month.

Downtherabbithole83 · 25/01/2023 21:51

@LotzW that’s exactly how I felt last cycle… was just desperate for AF to arrive so I could get in with trying again!

Downtherabbithole83 · 25/01/2023 21:50

Any update @Livingonhope ?

SimplyChic · 25/01/2023 19:31

@MrsSprouse I am doing them twice a day now but usually from about 12 then a second one about 7ish as I heard its better to do them in the afternoon? Between 12-8PM x

MrsSprouse · 25/01/2023 17:33

No idea why my phone added so much space at the end of my message, sorry guys x

MrsSprouse · 25/01/2023 17:32

@SimplyChic if you have loads of tests I'd do two a day. I usually test in the evening but this cycle I actually did am and pm and my surge started in the morning. Good luck

@MrsL22 I hope this is your cycle being relaxed can make a world of difference

@Pitstop1986 did you get your ewcm? X

Mrsrobinsonx · 25/01/2023 17:13

@SimplyChic sounds like it’s starting to rise then! Hopefully a couple of days for you. X

MrsL22 · 25/01/2023 16:44

I’m expecting ovulation today/tomorrow CD 18/19 but not testing so who knows 😂
dtd CD 8/12/13/16 also tonight and maybe tomorrow 🤞🏼
Who knows eh!
I just know I’ve been way more relaxed this month not tracking things obsessively.
I think also the reassurance that I can start fertility investigations and access support from May has helped!

SimplyChic · 25/01/2023 14:23

@Mrsrobinsonx thank you. That's good news for you. Nearly back in the 2ww then!

I did another OPK this afternoon, and it's been the darkest so far since doing them but I wouldn't consider it a positive as its not as dark as the control line, hopefully a good sign for me xx

Mrsrobinsonx · 25/01/2023 13:56

@SimplyChic ahh no, how frustrating!
I had my positive opk last night and still positive today so it’s quite early.
Keep us updated when something happens for you! X

LotzW · 25/01/2023 13:00

How's everyone doing? I'm waiting af. Lots of bfns and lots of signs she'll be here in the next day or so. Can't wait to get it out of the way to start again! 🤦🏼‍♀️

SimplyChic · 25/01/2023 12:57

-Still early days but I thought my cycles were back to normal then bam, this happens!
