No period & negative tests!?

@Eagerlywaiting1990 it really is, I’ve never had a missed period unless I was pregnant so this is just so random and confusing, it’s like my body is playing horrible tricks on me grrrr. Hopefully the next couple of days I’ll get something.

@lilacvkngsquirrel wgat was your outcome? Did it arrive eventually? I’m in the same boat and so confused. We lost our little boy on the 19th December at 24 weeks due to an infection in the water. My cycle went straight back to its regular self January and February, this month was the month we said we would ttc, tracked ovulation, dtd for that week every day to cover all aspects, AF was due the 27th this month, I had half a day of spotting and a few days of cramping but now thing worse, I’ve done 4 tests now all negative, I still have a little mild cramping on and off but literally a twinge and that’s it. I just want it to arrive now so I can start tracking again rather than hanging here in limbo 😩

@lilacvkngsquirrel it's worth testing in a week or so if AF hasn't arrived. I was 5 days late (never late!) Tested and got a negative. Bled lightly for two days from that evening. Tested two weeks later as feeling sick and was pregnant - 5/6 weeks at that point! They reckon I ovulate late so it was too early for the first test to pick up on, and the short unusual bleed was implantation.

@lilacvkngsquirrel hopefully you get some clarity soon. My AF eventually came and I think I'm gonna put it down to not ovulating that month - but I can't be sure.

Hi — I’m in a similar boat and hoping to get some answers. I’m actually not TTC actively but if it happened (is it happening??) I wouldn’t turn it away. AF was due on 4-5 Feb and now it’s 9 Feb, so almost 6 days late, taken about 4 tests (a couple early ones as well because I thought I saw implantation spotting and felt it). All the tests come back negative but my cycle is ALWAYS regularly 32 days, even during times of stress, and comparatively I don’t have much stress rn. The days after I saw the spotting I experienced massive hunger pains every 2-3 hours, which I’ve only ever felt when I was pregnant before (lost it at 5 weeks). I’m not on birth control and don’t have any medical conditions that would affect my cycle so I’m super confused at what’s happening??? I keep waking up at night either dreaming I’m pregnant or needing to pee and that’s very unusual as well. Would honestly just like AF to come at this point so I can get some sleep 😭

well af has arrived….. tbh i never thought id be so relieved to get my period but i was seriously beginning to worry something was wrong!!

@Eagerlywaiting1990 that is so frustrating for you!! honestly it feels so cruel when u want a baby! i hope they do bloods but with xmas who knows when that will be and when the results will come in! i really need to stop testing, im driving myself crazy and keep squinting to see if there is anything… gonna damage my eyes at this rate lol!

Mines has stopped 😫. I'm of the mindset blood is blood but it defo wasn't enough to consider it cd1. Cant cope! Aw thursday feels like ages away eh? Hopefully they'll get you booked for bloods from then? X

u both must be relieved it’s started, im getting anxious now, still no af and still negative. i managed to get an appointment with my gp but its not until thursday and its a phone appointment so not sure how helpful thats going to be!

Hey, we are TTC no2 and I was due Saturday but late... like others I am usually regular and if anything the last 6 months I've been coming on 2-3 days early.

I've done two tests, one Friday and one today, both negative. I've also had some lower abdomen pain.... I think if I haven't come in by Wednesday ill ring the GP. As I know I will just worry all over Christmas otherwise.

@Shutt Hope you've managed to get a GP appointment today.

@Shutt maybe you could ask your GP for a blood test?? when I had a chemical pg a few months after my mc they were very quick to do a blood test for me as it was very confusing as to what was going on.

Hi @Woofins sounds like you are still quite early going by your ovulation date. Although in saying that I didnt track my ovulation at all this month as we wanted to take the pressure off to see if that worked better...very much regretting that decision now 😂

Hi all I'm the same. Period due last Wednesday 13th roughly but I did ovulate latish around the 5th Dec and DTD that day. Took 2 tests so far one on the 13th another on the 16th both neg. I've had a teensy bit of spotting last Thursday. Haha debating whether to spring for more tests as I have a Christmas party this week. My cycles have been a bit irregular the last few months too. Torture!!!

Ah it's a total pain....I've got a feeling af might come for me soon though, slightest pink tinge (tmi) on toilet paper this evening :(

@Shutt you're not alone in this. Its heartbreaking watching pregnancy announcements left, right and centre but you will get there. Good Luck!!

@Eagerlywaiting1990 same here, another negative today. so disappointing and frustrating being in limbo because u cant even write off this cycle and look to try again in a couple of weeks until af starts.fingers crossed for you!!
