Hi all,

I'm due AF in the next couple of days and have all the usual symptoms so I'm fairly sure she'll show soon.....but I've been very dizzy the last couple of days so i thought I'd just do a test and see what came back. I think I can see a faint line, what do you think? Never been pregnant before and we've been trying for months so I don't want to get hopes up....plus my cramps are really bad this month so I'd already counted myself out really! Opinions most welcome! One photo with flash on, other off.

Hi all, just wanted to update really- I got a clear blue early test this evening and it's come up positive within a minute, so it would appear at this moment I am pregnant! Feels surreal, I don't "feel" pregnant and the cramps are intense so I'm a little wary. Here's my bfp photo 😊. Thanks so much for everyone's support and taking the time to post, I so appreciate it ❤️

Massive congratulations cxxxx

Cavylady · 13/12/2022 09:19

Thanks for this @Wrenegade that's helpful.

I tested again yesterday afternoon and got a negative so I think it's a very early loss unfortunately 😕. My cramps just feel like really horrible period cramps so I'm just waiting for the inevitable now. But I'm taking some comfort from the fact it means we can get pregnant, as we've been trying almost a year and have had nothing until this point. We're going to visit a GP by February time next year if we've still not caught by then.

Is the pink stick test a first response early? I'll keep an eye out for those in the supermarket from now on as I've heard good things. Xx

@Cavylady it looks positive to me. I used the exact same cheapie and had a very very faint line as well as a strong line on an LH test. I decided to do a frer and got a strong positive. On 14-16dpo when I was still testing the cheapie line was still pale but very strong on all other tests, maybe try a different test? Also I had very intense cramping throughout this cycle, it could be a positive sign!

I will attach a photo of my tests for reference.

I had horrendous cramps when I conceived so good luck! Both pregnancies I was convinced AF was coming as I had spotting too.

ChloeN · 12/12/2022 14:34

@Cavylady i had cramps like AF, probably worse because I don’t normally get period pain! It went away by just after 4 weeks xx

Cavylady · 12/12/2022 14:07

Thanks everyone, I'm going to test again in a couple of days if AF still hasn't shown. I don't feel any different to usual other than tiredness really so I'm very sceptical! I've got some horrible cramping going on and from reading everywhere they feel too painful to be anything other than AF on the way!

@Cavylady my opks looked like yours when I first found out I was pregnant too! If you can I’d try a clearblue digital ultra early, that picked mine up even when cheapie lines were still faint xx

Lightmarebeforechristmas · 12/12/2022 08:08

@Cavylady you tend to get positive opks when pregnant….all the signs are pointing towards positive news. I shall keep my fingers crossed!

Cavylady · 12/12/2022 08:04

I also got 2 dark ish OPK's so it might just be that my hormones are all over the place! Doesn't make any sense I'm so confused

I can definitely see a line- mine was like that with my first pregnancy a few days before AF was due. I also vividly remember feeling like I was about to start AF as I had cramps etc and thought I was out- but it came to nothing! Fingers crossed for you.

Cavylady · 12/12/2022 08:00

The lower one is this morning's. Definitely a line, not sure if pink or not. This was after 25 mins but lime was there towards end of 5 min wait. It's gotten a little darker since sitting another 20 mins but not sure if that means anything given you're supposed to read within 5 xx

Thanks everyone, I took another this morning and it's just the same. Very faint second line within 5 mins again, I would have thought it might be darker 10 hours later though? I'll have to wait and see!

The second pic def looks pink! Good luck!

ChloeN · 12/12/2022 07:13

@Cavylady i definitely see it☺️ good luck for testing today xx

Sometimeswinning · 11/12/2022 22:53

I saw it the second I zoomed in. I had the same with my first and put it in the bin. Took it out the next day because i was so convinced i was pregnant and it was a definite line.

Canuck48 · 11/12/2022 22:51

I also see a very faint something. Hard to tell. Definitely take one with first morning pee. Or be patient and take one in a couple days with first morning pee. If you are anything like me and have pink dollar ones you will be peeing on sticks constantly🤣

If you do the constant peeing you may see a progression of darkness.

If it is positive the cramping may be implantation cramping.

I wish you the best of luck. Fingers crossed for you🤞🏻

Cavylady · 11/12/2022 22:50

Thanks I will do another tomorrow evening if AF still hasn't shown!
