Hey everyone - hope you had lovely cbrisymasses! I'm 8DPO today, tested on a whim (partly because I am a hungry bottomless pit which is nothing like me, but mostly because I'm an obsessive tester)

Anyone see anything? I know 8DPO is very early, it's evening and I barely even held my wee so please tell me straight 🤣

Evening, how is everyone? I'm between 5 and 6DPO today (according to Flo & my ovulation symptoms) and I'm currently in the bath cause I have a strange tugging feeling inside - trying to calm it. I also feel incredibly emotional like I want to cry at everything - though that could be this time of the year. Hope everyone is doing well! x

TTC #2, was meant to be testing on Christmas morning if AF hadn't arrived (due tomorrow) but got an early Christmas present and woke up with horrendous cramps this morning, lo and behold, AF arrived a day early!

Oh well, means I can at least enjoy some nice wine over Christmas I guess! 🎄🎅🏼

Hi, can I join? I'm 14 dpo bfp was from around day 9/10. Quite anxious, had a cp in Sept. Got a wild 3yo and a 1yo.

@Mummyme87 I think I missed my peak this month... or didn't get one, it really quickly got darker over 24 hours then the next day back to v low again. We dtd on the right days if that was it anyway so still in for a chance. I try to do bbt too but often up in the night/ wake early/ forget so I haven't confirmed ov this month!
My assumed peak was Friday so now I'm tww until New years!

No early testing sounds like the way to go! Glad you will be distracted during the TWW. I find this month's wait more bearable with all the festivities going on.

Hopefully we will all have some good news in the new year :)

Got a positive OPK just now 👌🏻 so all on track, which means AF is due New Years Day. I’m away 28th-2nd so no chance for early testing. For the first time ever, totally reliant on waiting for AF!!

I’m CD12 today, not sure if today is Ov day or tomorrow. Normally tomorrow but possibly had a peak in LH yesterday and missed it.

I always see that the dark line (same colour or darker than the control line) as it's time to DTD. I have read somewhere that you usually ovulate 12-24 hours after your peak. By the time you are actually ovulating, the colour would have become lighter.

Sorry to hear about your MC @ElleBelleLou :( Good luck with this cycle. I had a MC in October too, I am going to test around Christmas day (If AF doesn't come before that...)

Hi everyone! I hope it's okay to join. I'm TTC baby number 1, had a miscarriage in March, a chemical a few months later but nothing my otherwise - this is my 13th cycle of TTC

I'm due to ovulate tomorrow according to Flo, haven't managed to DTD since Wednesday as my DP has been away but he's back tomorrow so fingers crossed for this cycle!

I’m CD11, had a fairly dark OPK this morning and didn’t get round to testing again until 8pm and it was the same. Not sure if I’ve missed the positive or it hasn’t happened. I usually get a positive CD12 so hoping that will happen this time too

Actually, they don't recommend using the first wee in the morning with the easy@home ones as they say you normally surge in late morning/early afternoon. But they do recommend that with the CB opk.
I just don't trust myself enough that if I take it any later, I can't be sure that it would be the same concentration and then I would just get confused about it all. If the line looks like it is getting close in the morning, then I test again in the afternoon to confirm!

@Kayycatt that's a good plan, I hadn't thought about them being the same conditions. I thought you had to do it early pm but I'm just doing the evening now. Started getting a darker line yesterday so getting close now 😬

CD10 now. In our sex week. Have DTD once so far, will push for as much as I can tolerate 😂😂
haven’t done an opk. Will probably do one today during the day.

I always use the OPKs with my first wee, this way it's always the same condition and you can really tell the peak from the progression.

I love OPKs, its the guessing that I find most stressful. We only have to focus on the 'sex week' :D and be more causal the rest of the month.
