All I want for Christmas is a BFP- TTC September baby 🍁

Just watching one of my videos (🙄😂) and it said the average time to conceive after hormonal contraception is 146 days whereas people who had used natural cycles as contraception were only 86 days. That’s like 5 months vs 3 months. I’m on month 4 after the pill so surely it has to be soon 🙈 This will be my second and we always said we’d like about 2 years between the first two then either leave it at that (depending if the second goes as well as the first 😂) or once my first goes to school we’d either have a third. I actually hate all the side effects of the pill so might try natural cycles after having #2. Would just be my luck I’d end up pregnant when I didn’t want to be though after spending all these months throwing the kitchen sink at trying!

@NarnieJoy i did the legs in the air a few times when conceiving my son and it did seem to work 😂 That as well as preseed, fluffy socks and any other old wives tale I could find!

I’m not IVF by the way, but hearing of anyone getting pregnant gives me hope that it can happen !!

Hello everyone! @Roxybabe my DH has declared this cycle “legs in the air” 😂 it can’t harm anything.

On cycle 4 due to ovulate around the 9th of Dec, so testing on Christmas Day 🤦‍♀️ Hoping for an early ovulation. Will be doing CB digi ovulation as I found it the easiest to read and use. heard so many heartwarming stories about friends who were on multiple IVF cycles having a baby - so that gives me hope.

Waiting for AF to arrive on Wednesday and then on to cycle #12 TTC #1. I’m going to really try relaxing this cycle, no opk no bbt no early testing. Still hoping for our little miracle ✨

for me this is cycle 2 of ttc baby 2. We conceived DD in cycle 2 after a chemical in cycle 1 last time around so I’m feeling very hopeful 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
it’s only CD8 for me atm so lots of DTD is our plan 🙈 haven’t tried OPKs but might next cycle. I’m still BF DD but have regular periods and ovulation symptoms so assume I’m ovulating.

Sorry for your early loss @Laul89 that must have been tough. It's my birthday, my husbands, my best friends, my mums all in December so feel the alcohol pain 🤣. Due on the 8th December which is just before my work Xmas night outbso we shall see of I can drink away my sorrows or have a bfp!

Hi all, think I’m CD9 of cycle 12 ttc1. AF due on the 18th of December.

I started taking EPO last month but didn’t feel like it did much but this month feel like I’ve generally got more cm so fingers crossed that it has a positive impact. Have also been drinking grapefruit juice and taking vitamin C&D. Other than that just going to continue with OPKs. Really going to be a bit more relaxed about it this months as last month the fw was unite unenjoyable 😂

@Sb86 sorry to hear about your recent loss 😩 I had a chemical this month but based on the NHS website, would have been around 3 weeks.
Hoping that after bad news, we have another try for a Dec or January babba xx

Hi ladies, me and my partner lost our baby at 8 weeks due to a SCH at the beginning of October (I fell pregnant the first month trying and weirdly it felt too good to be true). We have decided to start trying again, af arrived yesterday so next af due 22nd...here's hoping that we get a Christmas BFP 🤞🏼

TTC #2 Cycle 2 CD13.
I loosely say "trying" were just not being as careful atm. Will probs get December and Xmas parties etc .... out the way before "trying" officially. Took 7months to conceive #1. We just go off the clue app I have been inputting info into for about 3-4 years now so think it is quite accurate. Will give it a few months before then investing in ovulation tests and doing temps etc ...
This time round TTC #2 I have promised myself NOT to test early and just wait for AF as hard as it is and feels like the longest two weeks ever. But, those BFNs are awful to see and the chaotic excitement of possible symptom spotting until AF arrives is actually easier for me to take.

Cycle 4 for me and probably ovulating in the next few days.. almost just want to be in the tww now, feel like this last bit goes on for ages!

@Maime93 i feel like I’ve had a glass at every opportunity over the last 4 months in case it’s my last chance 🤣 never mid week or excessive but I haven’t held back!

Ahh good to know about OPK'S I will take the aps with a pinch of salt in future! Yes December is a very tricky month for it 😂are you guys cutting back alcohol or stopping altogether? I must admit I have not cut back this weekend which probably isn't helping matters 😂xx

Ooh I'd like to join please! MC in September, af arrived yesterday afternoon, so now hopeful for a Christmas BFP! This will be baby number 1, cycle 2. I'm 40 so time isn't on my side.

Hi again! This is my first month of 'proper' trying. CD4 currently. I have 3 day AF so it's gonna be a long old month.

@Laul89 Yes December is crazy hard! Especially as everything seems to revolve around alcohol and nights out!

@Maime93 I'm in the same situation my tracking app shows a different date of ovulation then the OPKs.

I very loosely used OPKs this month to see if it matched up with my app… didn’t see a peak so either missed it or ovulated earlier than I thought. Told myself I’d do it properly this cycle however I had a chemical pregnancy… so we must have DTD around the right time afterall! Therefore my plan this cycle is just go off my app again and DTD around when that says I’m fertile as it obviously worked last time!
AF will be due 21st December and I’m not testing early this time after the recent disappointment ☹️ so if AF doesn’t come I will probably test on 23rd as I’m due out for drinks that day so will need to know if I can drink alcohol or not 🤔
Anyone else think that December is a hard month to navigate… all my weekend plans seem to involve alcohol as it’s my birthday month too! 🙈

I have everything crossed for you pal ❤️This is all pretty new for me so just used apps to track ovulation last month. This month I started using Clearblue ovulation sticks and it seem that the apps have been leading me way wrong which is a shame. What's your experience or do you have any tips?x x x

I’m getting my December period out of the way and then starting TTC number 2. We have a 16mo girl. Told myself I wouldn’t get too wrapped up in it all but I’ve already started doing OPKs. Telling myself it’s so that I have a good idea of when ovulation is for when we start properly. I’ve not really been paying much attention to my cycles since we had our baby so for all I know it may have all changed. Last time we TTC it took us a year so fingers crossed it’s quicker this time.

TTC #1 cycle number 2. It's hard to not become obsessed with this journey, do you find that aswell? Praying for a Christmas BFP. Good luck ladies keep us posted x x x
