All I want for Christmas is a BFP- TTC September baby 🍁

Really think I'm out this month. Temp took a massive dip today then went to the toilet and had the bleeding in the picture. I have a history with spotting, I used to spot every cycle (brown mostly) for almost a week before my period. Had my daughter and ever since maybe get spotting a day or so before my period so this is quite early at only 10DPO and not due on for another 4ish days. I also have issues with cervical ectropians (also known as cervical erosion which can make you spot randomly it developed during my last pregnancy and is harmless just annoying). I had an ectorpian flare last month which lasted a few days but that's normally bright red and not accompanied by cramping so I'm pretty sure it's not that this time. My boobs are sore and I'm crampy. bfn on this mornings test. Only 10dpo so I'm still clutching at the last straws of hope but I just feel like AF is about to rear her head.

I should say that I had other anovulation symptoms:

• cycles were regular ish but long (37 days)
• when I temped, I got a Rocky Mountains shape
• my OPKs rose and fell at three points (showing my body was making several attempts at ovulating)

Can I join? :) My period would be due on the 8th December. Month 4 of 'not preventing' for baby #1, but let's be honest, the symptom spotting still takes over! Distinct lack of symptoms this month... I don't track ovulation but I do get cramps 11 days before my period every cycle, which I'm 99% is ovulation! Would love a Christmas BFP! We also dtd on what we later realised was our 16 year anniversary of our first date, so how amazing would that be!

i re downloaded my Femometer app that I used last time and have been looking at my cycle when I got pregnant. I didn’t test until 15dpo which I’m very impressed with 😂 definitely won’t be waiting that long this time. We DTD CD 19 and 21 and I ovulated CD 22 (I have long cycles).

I’m monitoring my LH this month so I have a rough idea when to DTD next month. I think my cycles are similar to pre baby in terms of when I ovulate as I do tend to keep an eye on CM but we’ll see.

@BCxx thanks for the positivity 😊 it was a first response I used. Tbh I don't like them very much as evap/indent lines seem really common with them. Had a speck of redish pink blood mixed in with cm this morning so I'm praying it's implantation and not AF on her way. I'm not due on till next Thursday so hoping for IB

@Stilltobeseen what brand was the one you took? If you get a first response for tomorrow you might have better luck 🤞🏼 Could be that it’s picked it up early but you’re more hydrated today? I’m planning to drink hardly anything towards the end of next week so I can test every morning 🤣

Period arrived yesterday. Finally!! End of 52 day cycle and now counting down to fertile window!

Took another test today at 9DPO with FMU but it was a BFN so yesterday's must have been an evap line. Don't know why it was pink though?! I'm never buying a FRER again. Honestly they just give false hope. Just going to hope my IC tests give me a BFP before AF next week and then do a CB Digi if that happens.

@anotherscroller that’s really interesting.. my line wasn’t darker than the control this cycle but I was assuming the peak happened while I was sleeping.. now wondering if it’s maybe not been happening at all 🤔 on month 4 so far

@NarnieJoy I’ve been getting up to 4 days of EWCM so you could have a few days until ovulation actually happens!

Think I’m ovulating early… ewcm this morning at CD 8 and I was planning to start LH testing at CD 9… so I am not sure now and I’ve nearly drank 2L so I think I can’t test for ovulation xx

8DPO today and took a FRER which I know are renowned for evap lines...however I've had a test with an evap line before and it was super clear and dark...this line looks grayish in the picture but I SWEAR it's ever, ever so pink especially at the ends. My husband agrees. I took an IC first and I thought there was a slight shadow of a second line but couldn't be sure and it seemed to go away so immediately took the frer. This was midday watered down pee (honestly don't ask why I thought then was a good time to test so early). I really don't want to get my hopes up...thoughts? Also don't know if this was there within the 3 minutes as it looked negative but I went back a few minutes later not convinced as I'm SURE I saw something on the IC (losing my marbles perhaps?) So took the test apart and there it is.

@BiscuitLover3678 three things to get started:

• you have to be trying for a year to get treatment if you’re under 35, but that’s when you start in the fertility clinic. Before that stage you have to have all sorts of tests, so I think it’s actually best to start with the GP after trying for eight or nine months
• for me it’s an ovulation issue, and I thought I was getting positives because I had lines the same colour as the control line some months. Now I realise that that wasn’t enough to show a positive, I should have had at least one OPK that was DARKER than the control line. My body kept trying to ovulate and repeatedly didn’t manage it. I probably could have found this out earlier if I had been a bit more savvy with the OPKs. It was a little bit wishful thinking.
• the clinic people are SO NICE. I genuinely have had a nice time there! So much happier than before I got into the clinic. Want to reassure anyone who feels scared or like they don’t want to be in the infertility club (that was me).

I just found out that because I’ve had an ovulation trigger shot the day before O, I shouldn’t test until 14DPO because the trigger shot is actually made of HCG, so it could show up as a false positive before then! 😱 can’t think of anything worse.
so I’m not testing til Wednesday.
By the way, if anyone wants to know about The Next Stage I.e. fertility testing and treatment, hit me up. I feel like a real veteran now even though I’m only on my very first medicated cycle, which is dumb, but I really recommend going that route if you think there might be something up! (My hunch that I wasn’t ovulating was correct)

@Soda123x that’s very true, I always thought that was a cool birthday to have when I was at school 😂 we’re 4 months in so I’d told myself I’d have until February to try without it being too close to Christmas. Looking up all the odds last night and 68% of people are already pregnant by this point, 80 something by 6 months so surely 🙄🙈

When trying for #1 we "tried" for 3 months then was careful for 3 months and then "tried" again. We did this as I didn't want a baby with a bday too close to Xmas 🙈
Guess when my little boys birthday ended up being .... 29th Feb 2020 ... he's a leap day baby after all that lmfao !!! 🤣
I had a right wobble (well for 10 mins) when he came all upset he only had a "real" birthday every 4 years..... then I realised it was pretty cool and he will always have an "interesting fact" he can tell people when meeting them, work bonding exercises etc .... when they make you tell everyone something about yourself hahaha 😆

@buckingmad that sounds like a good idea 😂 I think my number one fear is a Christmas birthday as I have one and have hated it my whole life so feel like I don’t really have the time to waste a cycle at this point but probably sharing a birthday party is worse 🙈 a money saver as a parent though 🤣

@anotherscroller I would be august too. But I just moved straight from the end of November thread onto this one so I’m staying put 🤣 according to my app the fertile window starts tomorrow… 🤞🏼

This is why I’m waiting till next cycle! My brothers birthday is 1 day before mine so I remember “sharing” parties as a child 😑.

If I hold off to next cycle then there will be almost two months between them thanks to my long cycles.
