Hey ladies, 2dpo here and officially in TWW, busier this month so i’m hoping it flies. My app says i’m due on boxing day but will prob hold out until 28th to test (if af doesnt show). I feel like our chances aren’t great though as I have a cold/sore throat etc and feel like crap, we only DTD on day of peak OPK and 2 days before that and i’m not sure it was enough either tbh. But we will see.

@becomingfall day 27 here too so exactly the same!

Except I have been much less patient than you and tested on Tuesday (negative obviously) and today (still negative) which was disappointing because this is the DPO I got my BFP with my daughter. So sort of thinking I'm out now, but period not due until Tuesday/wed so still time....who knows!

becomingfall · 15/12/2022 11:44

How’s everyone getting on? I’m CD27 today so 13dpo- period would be due between today and CD29 normally.
no sign of period, but I don’t really get PMS so I wouldn’t really expect anything else. I’ve got 2 FRERs arriving from Amazon today- I wanted to hold out until Sunday but I’ve got a Christmas party tomorrow night 🙈

Knov20 · 14/12/2022 12:39

Ahh I didn't even think about it like that! Thanks for the positive thoughts, that's made me feel a bit more hopeful ☺️

Sb86 · 14/12/2022 11:29

@Knov20 but your urine will be diluted now so with you only being 8dpo and the other one only faint it will need a couple of days for the hcg to up their levels. Fingers crossed for you and thanks I'm hoping so too 🙏🏼

Knov20 · 14/12/2022 10:53

So I just went and did a clear blue digital and it says not pregnant. So maybe my cheapie was just nonsense :( who knows. Not going to test for a few days unless ofcourse my period arrives! Keeping everything crossed. I was so excited this morning and now feel a bit deflated! Whyyyyy did I have to test again!!! @Sb86 hope you get your BFP!

Sb86 · 14/12/2022 10:38

@Knov20 I'm supposedly 8dpo too and it's taking all my strength not to test early. May test Friday but to be honest I've not really had much in the way of symptoms, I've definitely had light cramping on and off over the past few days but my boobs don't feel any different, although I think it was day 11 when I've noted down from when I was pregnant in September that they were full and aching. I had some cm that was a bit light brown coloured this morning but my app says af due Sunday so could be something to do with that 🙃 let us know what your test tomorrow comes back with won't you, have you had any symptoms?

Bananatoast123 · 14/12/2022 08:05

@LucyLoopyLu thank you!! I guess I’m one month closer! I’ve been thinking a lot about how it’ll happen when the times right and there’s a reason it hasn’t yet!

Does anyone else’s AF just shift their mood loads? I was so down in the dumps yesterday and looking at my OH like I can’t stand him. Give it a few days and I’m totally in love with him again 😂

Knov20 · 14/12/2022 08:02

So I did a cheap test this morning and I'm fairly sure there was the faintest of lines. Called my husband through and he agreed he could see it. Going to try get a FRER today and then hang on until tomorrow and test. Trying not to get my hopes up but it's hard not do. I would be 8dpo today!

LucyLoopyLu · 13/12/2022 14:55

@Bananatoast123 so sorry it didn't work out 😕 bloody AF playing tricks.
Hope you're not feeling too sad

LucyLoopyLu · 13/12/2022 14:53

@Nelliepledge hi 🖐 I haven't used the digital OPKs myself but have you been using them consistently this cycle or is this the first day you have done it?
I may be wrong but I think they flash and then turn static when they see a rise and then a peak, so if this is the first day you have used it then it might not be accurate? Otherwise maybe you do ovulate later in your cycle

Nelliepledge · 13/12/2022 14:30

Ps so glad to have this group as I feel silly talking about this to friends and family 😂✌️

Nelliepledge · 13/12/2022 14:29

Hello all, how's it going? Have had a few unsuccessful cycles and was being lead by the apps and focusing all our dtd efforts on the fertile window predicted by them. I am on cycle day 9 today, and did cb opk on the offchane this morning to get a flashing smiley! So confused as did not anticipate being in my fertile window so early, my luteal phase must be teeny tiny. Has anyone else experienced this?

Parkopedia · 13/12/2022 10:54

So I cracked this morning and used an FRER. Negative at 8/9 dpo. Now I feel disappointed even though I know it was stupidly early! Why do we do this?! Going to try and hold out now until Friday which will be 12dpo. I have been feeling nauseous but it's probably just nerves

Sb86 · 13/12/2022 09:46

Does anyone on here use natural cycles? We thought ovulation was going to be on the Saturday just gone but the app has said I ovulated between last monday and wednesday, but more likely Tuesday going off my temps . Thankfully we dtd Sunday, Monday, twice Tuesday and twice Wednesday so fingers crossed however I'm not holding my breath. So now af is due on Sunday which just seems really soon 🤔 maybe my body is still trying to get back to normal after the miscarriage in October? I've told myself to not overthink and whatever will be will be, if we aren't pregnant then I can have a drink over the festive period and try to relax ready for the next cycle. I still find myself symptom spotting and googling a million times a day 😵‍💫

Bananatoast123 · 13/12/2022 08:31

@BCxx I know! I seem to always have like a teaser near AF and yesterday it was such a painful evening too! My next ovulation is 25th dec if I am consistent and that’s good as we are off work from 23rd so hopefully means we will properly capture the fertile window. And then next AF will be the 7th Jan! If that’s no good we are going for testing!

Parkopedia · 13/12/2022 08:19

@ScotsBaby2

Apparently it's best to use them in the afternoon evening as that's when you're most likely to catch a peak. I start using them from around cd10. Around 5/6 or when I'm back from work. And then as the line starts to get darker I'll test again later in the evening for a few days. I just use the cheapos from Amazon which have worked fine for me!

MrsMotts · 13/12/2022 01:13

@WonderfulSummer so sorry to hear this. I had a CP In May - bleeding was same as my normal AF. I’ve had an early miscarriage last month and again bleeding was heavy but over in 3 - 4 days.

I’m on CD9 now, oestrogen rise on my CB monitor so just waiting for my LH surge now and trying to DTD every day when we’re not too knackered. Work is interfering with our TTC 😂

Laul89 · 12/12/2022 22:33

Hi everyone! Haven’t posted in a while but still been here checking out posts. Around 6dpo now.. so still feels like ages till AF is due but it’s definitely going quicker this month with the distraction of my birthday and Christmas.

@WonderfulSummer sorry to hear this.. I had a chemical last month on our first cycle of trying. AF arrived dot on time and lasted 3 days as usual, the first day being heavier than I was used to but the next two days very light and painless compared to the day before and first day of AF. I don’t track bbt or OPKs so just have went straight back into trying this
month around my fertile window predicted by Flo. Hoping for the best 🤞🏼 sending love 💖

BCxx · 12/12/2022 21:58

@ScotsBaby2 I had a fair idea I would be ovulating around cd14-16 so used them constantly at that point and tried not to drink too much on those days (although it’s a catch 22 because you need to be hydrated for EWCM 🙄). I used the easy at home ones and took a picture of them for the premom app. Last time I also did the clearblue ones but it basically tells you the exact same thing in a simpler form and you’re only really supposed to do them in the morning once a day

BCxx · 12/12/2022 21:57

@Bananatoast123 aww noo, was so hoping you’d had the same thing as me there but gutted to see AF has arrived 🤦🏼‍♀️ When will your next cycle end? That’s always the first thing I check, when can I next test?! 😂

Mannymoomin · 12/12/2022 20:54

I really don’t know what to think just now. Had a bit of pink spotting around 5am today and really expected AF to hit me.
I’m only 4DPO so no chance for IB. But I only had the spotting once and I’ve just checked my cervix 🤢 and absolutely nothing, not even brown. No symptoms of AF other than the cramps last night just before the spotting. Usually my pre AF symptoms are from 8dpo and I have insatiable hunger and a couple of humongous spots that require surgery 😂 I’ve not had any of that yet so I think if AF doesn’t appear by tomorrow pm that I’m still in with a chance and that small bleed was just random.
Not dtd for a few days so it wasn’t irritation. I’m baffled 🤷‍♀️

Misspotterscat · 12/12/2022 20:42

@ScotsBaby2 i use the easy at home test strips and test once a day in the afternoon until either cycle day 11, or when I see my levels start to rise. Then I do twice a day (and sometimes three times because I’m obsessed!!) until after my peak when I go back to once a day just to monitor it

Mannymoomin · 12/12/2022 20:22

@ScotsBaby2 personally I’ve been using the CB digital ones 2-3 times a day.
they are expensive but LH surge can be so quick it’s easy to miss if only testing every 24 hours.
Ive also always had my peak in the evening and only start testing more than once when I get flashing smiley

ScotsBaby2 · 12/12/2022 20:08

How are people using ovulation sticks? We've never used them but have some ClearBlue digital ones. I've been doing them just in the morning. Should I do them more than once a day? Evening? Morning? 2am? 😂
