Anyone going through the 2 weeks wait? 😭

6dpo here!! Desperately trying to distract myself instead of waiting to see if I notice any remote symptom- none so far! I’m always tired and exhausted so can’t count that one 🤣.

My cycles always used to be 28 days but for last few months I’ve had a 2 x 21 days and 1 x 24 so no idea when my period is due. I spent a fortune on frer’s when I fell pregnant with my 1st but resisting this time given that I have no idea when to take one…and just going to keep everything crossed!

I’m 35, anyone else of a similar age had a change in cycle? Made me panic a bit and hurried me along to start trying for number 2

@Yolo23 oh i hope it doesn’t have to come to that!!!
my mum has endo (actually I seem to thankfully be the only woman in my family on mums side that hasn’t got it!!). She has had 3 healthy children …. Me at 22, and then my sisters at 32 and 34!! Endo has not stopped her and it won’t stop you either! Xx

I can’t even let myself go there with IVF…. My head will go in a spin, really hope it doesn’t come to that either but I agree its mental - HOW DOES ONE HAVE AN OOPSIE AND GET PREGNANT ?!!! i would just love to be that person 🤣🤣

😂😂😂 I know! I honestly can’t help but not understand how the hell people get pregnant.. I know some have accidents and unplanned but REALLY!? How!? Lol, my brain is warped now into thinking it’s going to have to literally be a miracle. Honestly I think I’ll have a heart attack if ever I get a BFP. I know deep down I won’t though unless I have IVF - I have endo and I just have this gut feeling that’s the only way for me (although hope to god it’s not!)

@Yolo23 I knowwww its madness and quite a mind f**k …. Fingers bloody crossed I am so ready to just be pregnant and that be my life now ya know! I probably won’t test before missed P this month…. As i’ve had shorter cycles there’s not much point 🤣 if we get past 25 days i’ll be so excited then i’m sure it will come crashing down day 26🤣 we will see eh. I just actually believe so much that I am becore that bloody test says negative!

@Kittenmum89 I feel you on this one! Honestly so hard to tell isn’t it. Drives you bonkers… I’ve definitely not felt right this cycle (I’m 10 dpo) but hard to know if AF is just due to arrive early. I’m currently on the phone to my GP with the hope to book an appt to discuss a referral onto IVF. I heard elsewhere the average NHS wait is 18 months so I’m going to try and get in the queue ready… these things are never easy though! So much time spent hoping and waiting and doing the same thing again and again 😅

Why is the 2WW the worst !
I am currently 6 DPO, Have been feeling shooting pains the last few days on my left side, but its hard to think is it implantation or just your mind thinking its something when it is not!

@LMM91x yep! I’ve been there before so many times. I swear we make our body experience symptoms 😂 my boobs are so sore but it’s only ever when I’m TTC around the time of ovulation. Never experienced it before so I know it’s not really a sign of anything for me as it’s standard. Nope tests are coming tomorrow 😭 I almost caved and used one of my expensive ones this morning as I felt like I just needed to know what the aches were to put me out of my misery 🤣 but I am only like 10dpo … my guess is they’ll come tomorrow PM so I’ll have to wait for Weds but my luck AF will be here then and that’ll be the end of that hah! Pain isn’t it. How do people get so lucky so easy!? The 2WW takes forever, fingers crossed it’ll go quick for you. Do you have any plans or distraction techniques you can use… Christmas decorating perhaps or Christmas shopping 😅

@Yolo23 my last 2 cycles have been 24 and 25 😭 it’s so bloody annoying….. I am normally 26/27. 3dpo i am still a long bloody way off, have a constant like dull ache down there, but I know it’s unlikely to be anything just my bloody brain playing tricks on me!!

are they due to come today the tests???? I’d be window watching all day 🤣

I’m supposed to be on AF Sunday but I’ve been experiencing lots of small twinges the past few days - I had hoped implantation however I feel more cramps this morning so not sure if I’m just due for AF really early. Just checked previous cycles and I have had one at CD25 so ughhhh hopefully not but it’s anyones guess. These Amazon tests need to arrive like yesterday! …

@LMM91x testing Friday! You sound just like me 😂🤣 when are you going to test? I’ve just ordered packs of cheapies of Amazon! So may attempt weds thurs too but only because I’m super hopeful this month. Control and disappointment seem to ground me a bit 😂🫣 lol

I’m with you all on this one 🫣😅 10 DPO tomorrow and all I’m doing is symptom spotting every twinge and headache 😂 it’s the first time we’ve timed it ‘text book’ - I know we’d be very lucky but after many years TTC previously, and diagnosed with endo, I really hope my luck is about to change 🤞😆 in the meantime, I’m getting ‘text book’ symptoms but we’ve all been here before haven’t we 😂 I always think I’m going mental with my sore boobs and implantation cramps 🤔
anyway, I will be testing Friday as I have a smear booked so happy to waste some time wishing you all well on here in the TWW - please keep us posted. I find these places very positive to keep hope 🥳❤️✨

i have cycles 29-31 days but I ovulated on CD19 so this will be more like a 31 day cycle for me I reckon.

I used all my IC last cycle after being convinced it was going to be our lucky cycle. Ofcourse I was wrong and AF came right on time. I have two frer but literally have 0 intention of using them. Going to try very hard to not obsess and test this month and focus on self care and positivity.

According to FLO predictions I could experience implantation 22-26th

evening ladies, this is my first time ever posting on mumsnet however have been religiously checking up on others posts for assurance but I'm now going mad! I wasn’t ttc but wouldn’t mind if it happened. Im between 12-13dpo and I’m expecting my af tomorrow or the day after and have a usual 31 day cycle however I have had every single symptom imaginable since predicted ovulation. I tested last night however and got a BFN on an early response boots test I’ve had for a while, as I was loosing my mind not knowing what’s happening.. anyway I come to you lovely ladies for any advice or comparisons in symptoms so far in the chance it was a false neg? During the 2ww I ended up starting a daily symptom list by dpo to track because they truly were so noticeable, I have so far had the following:

approx 5-7 dpo - bloating, twinges, fatigue, lots of cm, constipation, extremely hungry constantly
7-9 dpo - twinges, nausea, fatigue, unimaginable insomnia not going to bed until 7am laying awake all night, diarrhoea (sorry tmi), had a fever through the night and woke up had to strip.. my SO noticed instantly my boobs looked massive (I’m tiny 34b), tenderness defo present in them
9-11 dpo appetite decreased massively to 1 meal a day, bloating, gas, sharp cramps almost like af, emotional as hell!, dizzy in the afternoons/evening, high body temp, weird unrealistic dream (I dreamt up a frisky moment between myself, SO and stranger🫠 so not my style!!!!), WORST FEVER EVER, waking up dripping in sweat literally had to change my clothing and sheets.. on top of this woke up on 10dpo congested as hell with the worst flu imaginable (I still have it) my nose is so dry throat so dry I’m unbelievably thirsty.. my taste buds have completely gone also. Started having some streaky blood when blowing few days ago didn’t realise it was significant however …
11-13dpo (I’m estimated at 13dpo now could be wrong) one meal a day still, yellow ish when wipe, dull uncomfortable cramping,
unimaginable insomnia, I’ve barely slept in days and when I have I’ve fallen asleep at around 6-7am and woken again at 11am or like last night kept shooting up every half an hour like I was being electrocuted and covered in sweat literally drenched kept my SO awake all night long just kept shooting up and having to re change my clothing 4 times!!! Managed to sleep from 8-11am woke up drenched again and didn’t realise SO had put a towel under me whilst I slept, woke up immediate nausea couldn’t get out of bed, toilet wasn’t that bad didn’t really have constipation, nausea increased by 1pm took my dog to the park and almost passed out.. blood pressure felt very high so I took it and it has increased quite a lot since I started testing 3 days ago to track - it was defo high as I was super dizzy and an emotional wreck for some reason I ended up picking a pointless fight with my SO and it became so explosive I started crying uncontrollably for no reason and it ended in a nosebleed which I don’t often get… and I read somewhere nosebleeds can be a sign.. I’m sooo thirsty, absolutely no taste buds and no smell, horrible taste in my mouth.. I sit here rn feeling so confused and so sick😷 anyone been through anything similar having a BFN then a BFP / similar symptoms before their BFP? I’m not sure if AF will arrive tomorrow or the day after… but I’ve never felt like this before any sister says she had basically every single symptom I’m having before her DS including a stuffy nose / flu before BFP.

I’m so sorry this was so long to read but I sincerely appreciate anyone who takes the time to read and or reply I also appreciate I should probably just wait for AF but I’m kinda dreading it at this point maybe I kinda want that BFP now🥲 I’m having so much anxiety, please don’t feel I’m wasting your time by asking when the actual wait isn’t so far away! 🙈kindest regards in advance and

2dpo so want to join! Second month ttc and the first time around the waiting period felt loooooong

I told myself I wasn’t going to test early…however I have no willpower and tested today which was negative haha. Felt down earlier but it’s still really early I suppose 🤞

@Ttc33 totally… I find it mostly comforting. I feel like I almost forget each previous cycle now… like I can’t recall at all anything I felt the last TWW?? Weird… might need to start jotting things down so I don’t go down a rabbit hole🤣

@Ttc33 I reckon I might be around 7dpo like you, had a big stress mid month and ran out of ovulation tests before I was actually positive so bit of a guess. fingers crossed for you too, do you have a plan for when you will test?
