Anyone going through the 2 weeks wait? 😭

it’s like, while I’m more hopeful for a BFP, I’m DEFINITELY more worried now that I’ll keep getting chemicals.. although because I promised myself I wouldn’t test early or before AF I think I’ve mentally prepared myself for that not to be the case - hmmm, it’s hard isn’t it! But I’d definitely rather not know. I’ll also be more mindful about a BFP if I were to get one but tbh once I bled properly I turned quite quickly to a BFN on a digital so I’m sticking with digital testing maybe like 2 days after a missed period - if I get lucky?!

my other concern is whether the chemical will impact AF … so mindful that it may not be a missed period until a while after? Ugh I don’t know lol! It’s all up in the air.

like you, I have had a few similar symptoms however nothing to the extreme like last month but I’m hopeful this will be a good thing because tbh I was so poorly a few times last time so assuming that’s because my body was rejecting it?? Hoping I have mild symptoms but not holding out on a BFP this month. I didn’t track digitally as we were away and kept it pretty chilled.

The two things i am also mindful of are boiling hot baths - I take one an evening which is no good if you’re pregnant so wondering if that’s something to stop after ovulation or is that just insane. Secondly, the non caffeine is something I’m trying for sure - there are some lovely ones that actually taste better! I stick with my morning caffeine but then have as many as I like non caffeine through out the day.

I also wasn’t taking folic acid religiously before the chemical so I’m mindful of that and trying to take this daily too! It’s like a game of chess isn’t it 🤣🤣 hoping for a BFP for you this month 🥰🤞 xx

Hey @Yolo23, funny the time of the month has come where I log on and trawl through numerous ttc threads to try and pass the time! oh I wasn’t aware it could also be linked to the sperm!

I can definitely see why you’re more hopeful. It’s a new worry at every hurdle though isn’t it. I thought last month ahh well at least I know I can still conceive but this time round I’m less worried about that and keep thinking I really hope it sticks!

im 9dpo today, less inclined to test early because it was so disappointing last month. I’m trying not to get my hopes up but I have had mild cramps on and off today (same day as last cycle) and I’m in a vile mood 😂 blaming my hormones but then also worried I’m stressing myself out which could hinder! I’ve cut out alcohol this month but not caffeine yet. Just pregnacare. I hadn’t been taking folic acid as until recently as I completely forgot!!

how are you doing? Have you tried this month?

Ohh just seen this - you were on the googling brigade then again so I see haha! I say this because I also came to this conclusion last night about the chromosone abnormality with a chemical pregnancy. Interesting!
My partner has had a call from his Gp after my GP requested for him to have a SA. I’ve been assuming everything is good with him as we were successful enough to get that far but the abnormality query could be in relation to eggs or sperm quality I read. It’s always such a waiting game! I’m definitely more hopeful having had a chemical though.. I also know what I done that month to the exact date so my plan is to mirror this on future cycles and just pray it sticks! I’ve cut out caffeine… what pre conception vitamins are you on can I ask? Xx

hope this is all our month ladies! I’m on CD9 due to ovulate CD12/13. Going to repeat what I did last period and hope it sticks this time! After googling it seems chemicals are caused by chromosomal abnormalities? Will have been taking pregnacare for a good while this time round so could potentially help make sure the egg is healthy!🤞

That’s me out too. Still no sign of AF but took a test this morning as out on a Christmas party tonight and wanted to know if it was ok to have a gin and tonic! Let’s just keep reminding ourselves that we are never more than 4 weeks away from that potential BFP! 🤞

I guess that's me out ... AF due today and whilst it hasn't arrived yet, I did first response and it's a bfn (although I do now see why people complain about the indents - it got me fooled for a couple of minutes ...)

@Mammatoacutie you're not out yet 🤞 I gave in yesterday and tested again but the line was still faint. Feeling confused. CD35 today and technically 7 days late. I'm sure that if this is going to stick around then I'd have a strong line by now 😬

14dpo for me and no sign of AF. Too scared to test though! No symptoms of any description, AF related or otherwise. This weekend will be exactly a year since I got my first bfp that ended in a MMC 8 weeks later so it would be kind of nice if it this is the month…

Thank you for this @Mammatoacutie! I've been on a career vs pregnancy freak out journey today so clearly either AF is coming very soon or something else - either way will know soon enough !!

Hi all - hope it's okay I'm joining! I'm 6DPO according to my Flo app and the urge to test has KICKED IN it's so hard to not! Even though it's so irrationally early

Thanks @Yolo23 haha yes I had googled and googled too, I can’t let it go until a bfn is staring me in the face which has now happened so I can drawer a line under it and try again this month. Still can’t shake the disappointment though, I need to try and get excited of the possibility of next month!

@lili2308 with my first I had zero symptoms before my bfp- , I remember feeling sorry for myself and saying to my OH that I was sick of trying and couldn’t be bothered to do another cycle with all the anticipation and disappointment, little did I know I was!

@cashmerecow oooh! Keep me posted then! Monday surely was too early - so much can still change by Saturday. I'm going to test on Saturday morning :)

My cycle seems to me the same as yours! I did a clear blue on Monday as I caved and couldn't wait, it was a BFN! No symptoms apart from slightly sore boobs but I usually get that around AF anyway 😓 hope we get a positive soon!

Thanks @lili2308 and @Yolo23 I'm pretty sure I ovulated on CD17, I wiped pink blood all day (small amounts) on CD27 & 28 and then nothing more. CD32 today it seems familiar to last month though, I think I might leave it a few more days as AF may show

@Alysskea cramps could be a good sign too though! So fingers crossed for you! I have a few tests at home ready to go - the only thing that's keeping me away from them is reading people's messages about chemical - would rather not know if that's the case ...

I’m exactly the same as you @lili2308 ! I actually caved and bought a test but too scared of it being negative. Now keep getting cramps so convinced it’s a BFN.

Hello @TulipVictory im sorry to hear about your chemical - I had one last month myself. It definitely looks positive to me but having tested positive on those sort of tests after AF had even arrived, I’d go and buy a digital just to be sure xx best of luck! Xx

11DPO, AF due on Saturday / Sunday and really finding it hard to resist the urge to test :( I have a feeling it will be negative because I basically had zero symptoms ...

I had a chemical last month. On the day AF was due I had a very faint line on a pregnancy test. However, three days later AF came full force. I was gutted I tested and said I would only do it again if I was late. My cycles are never later than 28 days so this cycle I am currently day 32, I've tested this afternoon and this is the test? I feel like this is way too faint for being late? Do you think it will be another chemical? Thanks for looking 😊

@Mammatoacutie im keeping ok thank you my lovely. So sorry to hear you’re going through a confusing time yourself! Bless you. Through my HOURS and HOURS of research, what I would say is that some bleeding/spotting is very normal so it’s not officially over until it’s over - so try to have hope but don’t let it blind side you too much either. It helped me to remain pragmatic as it was super disappointing and horrible just being in limbo, having to wait and still get positive tests…
What clarified it for me was taking a test the day of my AF and the day after - where my digital changed to not pregnant. Fingers crossed this won’t be the case with you but here if you need anything or want to ask anything - it can be a lonely confusing time. Look after yourself xx
