@FlyOnTheWall89 that's amazing - 26 Feb is clearly a fantastic date!!! Sorry to hear the 'plan' didn't work out, but she's here and safe and that's the main thing. I hope you have a swift recovery from the c section too. We might even end up leaving the same day too - all going well we'll be out by the end of the week 🥰

@Tinkerbell098 that's AMAZING news!!! How have you been feeling?! I know it's really scary but you're over the first hurdle now. Just don't expect to stop worrying, this is it now - you will worry forever 😂

@Indianna2006 he was a little bit early - 39+3 🥰 glad because I was VERY over being pregnant!

FlyOnTheWall89 · 27/02/2023 23:16

Amazing news @BritInNZ - sounds like you are super woman!!!!

@Tinkerbell098 couldn't be more happy for you!!!!

Of all the days in the year, Matilda came on the 26th Feb too @BritInNZ.... she was nearly a week late and we ended up needing an emergency c section after labour just didn't progress quickly enough post premature rupture of membranes. 24 hours labour then a c sec was not in my mind even though I was super open minded about my 'birth plan' 😂, but she is heavenly and so worth the wait. She was 8lbs1. Totally adore her and we will leave hospital in the next few days.

Xxx

Tinkerbell098 · 27/02/2023 18:52

@BritInNZ congratulations!! That’s amazing news. Hope baby Oscar is doing well and can go home by the weekend.

@FlyOnTheWall89 i bet you don’t have too long to go either? Hope everything’s well.

I too have some news. I had my frozen embryo transfer just before Christmas and I’m now 12 weeks pregnant 😊 can’t quite believe it! Was a nervous wreck due to my miscarriage in October so wasn’t ready to say it out loud until I got to this point. Hopefully we’ll be breaking the news to family this week.

hope everyone’s having a good week. Love to all X

TheBirdintheCave · 27/02/2023 18:35

Congratulations @BritInNZ :D Sounds like a bit of a scary time afterwards though. I hope Oscar is well enough to come home soon!

BritInNZ · 27/02/2023 18:25

Hi ladies - I welcomed baby Oscar on 26 Feb at 13.54, weighing 7lb 8oz. Lovely labour (albeit painful) managed on two paracetamol - I feel like super woman!

Bit of a dramatic entrance with an ambulance to NICU due to breathing difficulties. He was on CPAP and a feeding tube until he decided he’d had enough and ripped them out the following day 😂 Turns out he had fluid on the lungs and this has now turned into an infection, so we’ll be here until at least the weekend. So lovely to see his face without all the equipment on it now though 🥰

I'm praying this group gets some more good news stories soon!!! ❤️

lemons44 · 25/02/2023 21:47

Thanks all.

Hope AF starts for you soon @Koalie ! How are you feeling about things? Will you have a transfer soon?

@Carla2601 hope things are going well for you and bubba 💗

Sorry @Netflixnchilli I don't have any experience of this. What plan have they put in place for you? xx

Koalie · 23/02/2023 10:26

Amazing news @lemons44 !!
I had my Zoladex on 14th Feb and was told I should have a period a week later but no AF in sight 🧐 waiting on a call from the clinic to see what happens if she doesn’t show up …
😕

Carla2601 · 21/02/2023 22:48

@lemons44 thats great news - and you definitely deserve a smooth run from here. Let us know how you get on, will be thinking about you!

Netflixnchilli · 21/02/2023 22:27

@lemons44 thats great news! How exciting!

@BakinABaby sorry to hear about your scan, I had a similar situation a couple years ago and it’s hard not to panic but I hope you’re reassured that they’re checking it out thoroughly.

my heads in a spin today - had my follow up with private clinic after having all my immunology tests done and have a plan in place now but feeling quite overwhelmed. Anyone else in here have NK cell issues or following an immune protocol?xx

monsteramunch · 21/02/2023 21:14

Ah @lemons44 that's brilliant news! Congratulations, you deserve it Flowers

TheBirdintheCave · 21/02/2023 21:06

@lemons44 That's great news! You must be so excited :D I'm starting IVF in March if this cycle is a bust.

lemons44 · 21/02/2023 19:49

Hi all,

How is everyone doing?

We found out today that our IVF funding has been approved. We have a consultation on 8th March and then can start on my next cycle.

@SaraSS that's great you've been referred. Fingers crossed it goes quickly for you!

@BakinABaby sorry your ultrasound wasn't straight forward. At least they are being extra vigilant in checking you out by giving you an MRI next.

OP posts:
BakinABaby · 15/02/2023 08:56

Hey everyone, hope you are all well!

I had the ultrasound this week to check why my ca125 might be elevated. She did say there looks like to be some sort of a “mass of uneven structure” near my left tube. She wasn’t sure, said because I am so skinny sometimes the ultrasound machine picks up further structures. But she did poke around and I did say that I have pain in that specific location around ov and before period. Anyway, it remained inconclusive and now I am waiting for an MRI next month. Not sure how I feel about it, I am a little scared for sure, but try to keep it cool and keep my mind preoccupied. No point in panicking yet.

SaraSS · 14/02/2023 17:16

Hey everyone. How are you all?
We've been referred today by NHS to the fertility clinic for IVF. So glad the journey has started (although still trying naturally in the meantime!)
I believe we get one fresh round and possibly 1 frozen but that's not certain as our area is changing its funding policy.. hopefully we will get our first appointment for paperwork in the next few weeks!

BritInNZ · 14/02/2023 02:27

@Tophy124 sorry tagged wrong!

BritInNZ · 14/02/2023 02:27

@trophy124 yep I had one too - it was a bit uncomfortable but not unbearable. Felt like period cramping and was over with very quickly. The worst part was getting the tube into my cervix as it was so small, so there was a lot of trying and trying again. Definitely worth doing as a process of elimination 😊

FlyOnTheWall89 · 13/02/2023 13:30

@Tophy124 yes a number of us have had a HSG. I personally found it almost painless. My tubes were clear and I got pregnant the cycle after I had it done. It seems to be very different for different people regardless of if your tubes are clear or not! Either way, I think it's definitely worth doing!

Tophy124 · 12/02/2023 18:16

Hey everyone!! I’m jumping back on.

Has anyone had an HSG? I keep putting it off as I’m scared!! I’m having a CP right now and had really got my hopes up.

at my ultrasound they found a large endometrioma and I’m scared of getting more bad news xx
