Also @Koalie do you remember your egg collection? In the videos I watched yesterday from the clinic as part of the consent forms, it says most people don't remember the egg collection.

@Koalie yes we are having long protocol! That's so exciting that you might have your transfer next week! How many do you have frozen again?

So I will be doing down reg on burserelin, which was one of the meds that was out of stock for ages but is back now. I think I take this for about 2 weeks and then have a bleed before starting stims.

For stims I will be on 150 iu of Gonal-F. Then trigger i will have ovitrelle. And after that cyclogest I think? Maybe that's the pessaries?

Have you have had any of these?

Sorry you're feeling down in the dumps, what medication is that's making you feel down? I have my appointment on Tuesday with the nurses to learn how to do the injections and go through them all.

xx

Hi @lemons44 ☺️ oooo that’s exciting ! Yours going to be long protocol then? I am still on the estrogen patches at the mo, my next scan is Friday and then I expect I’ll be starting my progesterone injections and pessaries ready for transfer next week! Still trying to avoid covid like the plague 😷 lol. I must say I am finding the FET cycle a lot harder than the stims in terms of hormones 😵‍💫 just feel knackered and down in the dumps … what medications will you be on for everything? Xx

lemons44 · 15/03/2023 14:04

@Koalie just wondered how you are doing and how your cycle is going? I got AF yesterday so official CD 2 and waiting to start down reg on CD 21 xx

@2021lady it says Serum TSH level 1.99 mIU/L

Sorry for the late reply but these numbers are within what gps would consider normal range. Closest to 1 is best x

lemons44 · 10/03/2023 12:36

@Carla2601 when your little one grows up and asks you 'mummy how was I made?' you can say 'well...... it all started with a harvest festival' 😂

OP posts:
Carla2601 · 10/03/2023 09:24

@lemons44 haha that’s right the harvest festival!

lemons44 · 10/03/2023 09:11

@SaraSS hopefully that moves quickly for you. We were told it takes 3-6 weeks for funding forms to process and ours took 4 weeks, just to give you a bit of any idea. Sorry you feel deflated. It's really rubbish ☹️ especially when you put in so much effort!

Thanks @Carla2601 and @FlyOnTheWall89
@Carla2601 I am also referring to 3rd May as potential 'harvest day' as I remember you said this haha.

@lemons44 this is amazing news - so great to have a date in the diary after so long. Keeping my fingers crossed that you. 1st April is just around the corner! X

Carla2601 · 09/03/2023 22:14

@lemons44 so pleased you’ve got your plan and will be cheering you on! Keep us posted with how you get on

SaraSS · 09/03/2023 20:27

@lemons44 yes the funding forms. The lady that deals with them at the clinic is on annual leave this week, but they should be reviewed early next week. Then I guess we are waiting for our first appointment with the consultant.

Whilst the move forward with IVF is exciting, I can't help but feel deflated this cycle, I thought we might have been in with a chance with all the BD-ing!

That's great you've got some dates - do you know what kind of meds you'll be on?

lemons44 · 09/03/2023 19:12

I'm glad things are at least moving for you @JSS15 it might not be as long as you think. Our referral went so quickly once it went through from the GP but I know we were lucky and it seems a bit of a postcode lottery.

@SaraSS so sorry you got a BFN ☹️ so crushing for you. Is it the funding forms FOR IVF that have been sent off?

Small update from me. We had our IVF consult and we are starting on my next cycle day 21 which is about April 1st, with provisional egg collection on May 3rd. I feel like it's taken forever to get to this point. It was almost 11 months ago we got DH's semen analysis which said zero sperm!

Hey everyone. 11dpo today and BFN.. we BD a lot this cycle and did some extra "at home insemination" DIY as well when we couldn't BD, not sure if they are particularly successful but worth a shot (so to speak) as we couldn't BD some days..
Also reduced stress level for the last few months with taking a break from studying.. so I had some hope in success this time.. so quite disappointed with the BFN.

Luckily the IVF forms have been sent off so hopefully we will be moving forward with that in the next few months!

I hate the waiting :-( I'm so impatient!!

JSS15 · 09/03/2023 07:50

@lemons44 no problem! I’m doing good thanks. Seen the gynaecologist and had another blood test - they think I’ve not “lean” pcos so referred me to fertility. Just waiting on a referral now and think it might be a while, but glad something is happening.

lemons44 · 09/03/2023 06:59

So glad you are enjoying the bubble @FlyOnTheWall89 and thank you for continuing to be our cheerleader! 💗

Thanks @JSS15 how are you doing? x

@lemons44 i think your TSH is fine. Mine is 1.46 and wasn’t flagged as bad. In fact, my nhs app gives the normal range as 0.38-5.33.

congratulations to all those with their babies now or bfps. It’s so nice to hear happy endings :)

FlyOnTheWall89 · 08/03/2023 17:31

@lemons44 I know, the odds on that haha. Pretty magic. Little Matilda is totally adorable and has stolen our hearts. Loving the newborn bubble and I know it feels so so far off for you guys but you never know what's around the corner - I wouldn't have believed you if you'd have told me this time last year that right now I'd be feeding our baby on the sofa. Keep hoping guys, I'll keep everything crossed xx

@FlyOnTheWall89 huge congrats! So happy for you. I can't believe after how long it took you and @BritInNZ to conceive you ended up having babies on the same day. It's such a lovely success story for our group ❤️

Hope everyone is doing ok?

We had our IVF consultation today. The doctor has written our prescription and just waiting on the nurses to contact me to learn how to do the injections.

Does anybody know anything about thyroid test results? I had to have mine done and wasn't sure if my result is ok. I forgot to ask my consultant.

I have a thyroid condition and get mine tested every 6 months. What were your results x

@Tinkerbell098 yesssssss!!!! So thrilled for you! So glad to hear you’re feeling well too.

@FlyOnTheWall89 wonderful news and hope you’re up and about and home soon but make the most of the help whilst you’re in hospital

@BritInNZ congrats! Sorry to hear he’s not been well and hope you’re all back to tip top and home soon

@Indianna2006 good luck with the section, I hear lots of positive elective section stories so hopefully yours will be too 😊

Tinkerbell098 · 28/02/2023 10:04

Thanks everyone! It just doesn't seem real still.

@Koalie it's been absolutely fine, quite smooth sailing so far, so fingers crossed it stays that way. I was a bit nervous at the start due to the lack of symptoms but three scans later, thought I should just count myself lucky!

@FlyOnTheWall89 massive congratulations!! How amazing you and @BritInNZ giving birth on the same day! What are the chances! Hope all goes well and you'll be home in no time. So happy for you X

@Indianna2006 OOO not too long to go now! All the best for the next 6 weeks and beyond, hope the wait isn't too bad X

Indianna2006 · 28/02/2023 09:38

@BritInNZ oh wow yes so few days early 😍😍 amazing! Enjoy him!

@FlyOnTheWall89 ahhh massive congrats lovely! Baby Matilda. I bet she’s a little dolly. Was your DH so glad she’s finally here?
might labour hardly ever goes to plan. But well done you. Hope it wasn’t traumatic and you heal well.
I am booked in for an elective section in just over 6 weeks time. An I had an assisted natural delivery last time (with tons of complications) so hence medical need for surgery this time. And I am pooping it. Not gonna lie 🙈😂 I’m sure all will be fine though. Baby will arrive 38+6 so hoping labour doesn’t start before that.

Koalie · 28/02/2023 07:10

@FlyOnTheWall89 Oh my goodness ! Another beautiful name 😍 what are the chances of you having her the same day as @BritInNZ ?! 😱 I love that. Congratulations !!! 🥰 x
