Hi all
Onto thread 4! Hopefully this one is lucky for us 🍀 🤞🏼

Just a supportive thread for those of us who have been TTC for over a year. New faces are welcome. Feel free to vent, cry, laugh, ask silly questions, seek advice and talk about anything.

Thank you ladies. Honestly I'm such a worrier. Last night after my jab I kept looking at my tongue in the mirror to check it wasn't swollen and I wasn't having an allergic a reaction 🤣🤣 you guys may have to excuse my hysteria throughout this journey 😅 I also stocked up on snacks because I had this panic that I'm starting IVF so OBVIOUSLY I must have a million snacks accessible at all times.

Ahh sorry it's been postponed @Netflixnchilli I hope the wait goes quickly for you.

@Koalie I hope you're doing well xx

@Netflixnchilli sorry to hear your surgery has been pushed back! That must be so frustrating x

@lemons44 im really sorry I can’t remember but I do remember sometimes they didn’t feel the same and I’d panic I’d put it in wrong….I feel like it’s completely normal to have a massive amount of anxiety and worry! Hope it’s just some redness from the jab and that you’re feeling ok?

Huge congratulations @Koalie !! And so exciting that you’ve started @lemons44 !!

Well my laparscopically guided hysteroscopy was going to be on April 13th and then last week - I got covid (have to test for work). So now it’s been cancelled and I just feel devastated but a bit numb. Hoping to reschedule for May 11th 🤞🏽

how’s everyone else doing?xx

@Carla2601 @Koalie did you get a bit of redness around the injection site? Just done my first one and it's a bit red around where we injected. Feel full of anxiety about horror stories like allergic reactions!

@lemons44 I'm ok, just depressed dealing with the endless waiting. Still 13 or so days before ovulation. I'm just so fed up with it all 😢

@lemons44 none of mine did but I remember this fear too! Think it’s a control thing. So pleased you’re finally able to get going and will be thinking about you

@lemons44 It all seems so daunting at first but the injections really are quick and easy to get the hang of! So excited for you 🤭 x

Thanks @Koalie they have just arrived and one bag says 'keep refrigerated' and the other doesn't - phew!
Feel so anxious now. Start on Monday and all of a sudden feel so overwhelmed!! 😅

@lemons44 … my drugs came with an info leaflet that told you which need to go in the fridge. Don’t worry, I expect they will make it clear when they drop them off xx

@Carla2601 you know I will be on pretty much the same IVF meds as you? Did any of yours need to be kept in the fridge?! I'm panicking as mine are due to arrive soon and I wasn't told about storage!

Hi @Koalie, yes I had a very complicated c section over 4 years ago, and had to have further surgery 2 years later.

never unsolicited, all advice welcome! He’s specialist in minimally invasive gynae surgery - I’m actually also part of an Asherman’s Facebook group and have been speaking with someone who has also been treated by him so I’m feeling positive. Unfortunately I was made redundant from a job last year where I would have been fully covered and I now work for a charity so sadly no help on that front!xx

Also @Netflixnchilli if you have any health insurance, you may be covered if you go down the ‘painful periods’ route rather than the ‘infertility’ route xx
