Huge sore boobs

Hi everyone,

My boobs have been hurting since about 2dpo, when I say hurting at best tender to touch and at worst on fire. today I am 9dpo and they are driving me mad, they feel like they are burning/bruised, round the sides and through the middle to the nipple, and easily a cup size or two bigger. Last night I had really strange punching pains quite low down, still getting them today and cramps.

anyone experienced sore boobs the whole tww and got a bfp?!

@Bonster37 😔 I think I've come on too. It's so annoying how you think you feel so different to normal cycles isn't it, or maybe it's because we just become hypersensitive to it, I don't know but either way it's so frustrating. I hope your ok and get we get bfp soon xx

@Bonster37 I did another test this morning and I think it's bfn. When I got in from work I thought I saw a hint of a line but if I did it's probably an evap line and after closer inspection I cannot see it everytime so think my eyes are playing tricks! Let me know how you get on tomorrow and fingers crossed for you! Xx

I had cramps yesterday but none so far. I got more tests but think I’d rather see AF than a negative. Today is 11dpo. Going to hold off until wknd I think

@Bonster37 no af yet but like you still have very painful boobs, had really bad lower back pain yesterday and that weird pink discharge. But nothing today apart from the boobs and feeling a bit nauseous! How are you feeling? Xx

@Bonster37 tested with an early detector this afternoon and bfn 😔 boobs are on fire again and have had really bad lower back pain today, but no cramps. Then this afternoon when I went for a wee I noticed pink discharge when I wiped, wiped again after the school run and less of it but still there. Think it's af on its way 😔 hope you test again and get your bfp! Xx

I’ve had two pregnancies and sore boobs (more than usual PMS) was the first noticeable sign at about 3dpo. Followed by irrational emotions outbursts at 8dpo and, with my first, bad cramp at 12dpo.

As soon as I read that it did remind me with my son (11 years ago) that I suspected pregnancy but did multiple tests that were bfn for weeks and then finally had a bfp when I realised all I could stomach was toast and a strong urge for marmalade 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm not sure what dpo that was though as I wasn't ttc then, so thank you that did offer some reassurance xx

My soreness eased off when I was pregnant and I still got a bfp. I assumed I was out but that's obviously not the case for everyone. Just wait until you've missed your period then test.

Just as an aside, I didn't get my bfp with either child until 16 dpo and 12 dpo despite many, many tests.
As they say you're not out til AF shows up x

@Bonster37 😫 I have just googled the s*it out of it and some women have experienced this and still got a bfp, so we're not out yet. Plus we don't know when implantation may have occurred so there may not be enough hcg in the urine, I think I read 8dpo is a typical day for implantation so let's stay positive, hope your ok! Xx

I could have wrote your message. Had really sore breasts for the last week and they gave calmed today. Not feeling confident now. Just tested and got BFN at 10dpo.

@Bonster37 good luck testing if you test today! My tests won't arrive until later but I've saved some of my morning wee to test later! Weirdly my boobs have calmed a bit today, still a little tender and feel bruised, still noticed going over speed bumps but just feel softer and not as burny as they did so now I'm doubting myself! How do you feel today? Xx

Yep I always get sore boobs early when I’m pregnant, this last time I got a bfn at 9dpo but a shadow of a line at 10dpo - so good luck!

I get sore boob pre menstrual, but when I was pregnant it was another level of sore and tender, good luck!

Thanks @Melvin2021 yes for sure speedbumps! And even walking heavy footed or going down the stairs! That's why I wanted to ask on here because like you, I have sore boobs on and off from ovulation to af but never like this and never constantly. it's just a waiting game now for either a bfp or af 🤷🏻‍♀️

When I was pregnant I realised for me personally that all the symptoms I was looking for didn't exists and that it just felt the same as my period except this!! They were always sore everymonth just before my period and then it would go away and my period would start but the month I was pregnant they were in agony! Even a speed bump when driving was horrific so it's definitely a sign or was for me anyway. Goodluck hope it's your month!

Thank you for your replies @Bonster37 and @OgdensGoneNutFlake! I'm glad I'm not the only one to experience this.
I did a normal hpt this morning and of course bfn.
Yesterday at 8dpo I had a bad taste in my mouth all evening and I had a streak of discoloured cm in my undies after lots of cramps and pinching, it wasn't white but not sure if it was yellow or very pale brown. today lots of really lotiony type cm, but white. Bad taste in my mouth, a split second of heartburn, lots of cramps (thought af had started) and pinching and of course these god damn KILLER boobs. I wanted to rip them off this afternoon they were so bad!
When do you think you will test @Bonster37?! I ordered some early detection ones today to arrive tomorrow.... it's a pack of 3 so I will do one 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
