Anybody 1DPO?

Bit of background, we’ve been trying to concieve
for 11 years and I was diagnosed with PCOS, we successfully got pregnant on clomid in 2016 sadly ended in miscarriage at 11 weeks. Due to getting married we held off for a while plus covid got in the way. So now we’re trying again I’m back on clomid after losing some lbs and adopting a more healthy life style, I’ve successfully ovulated this month which feels like a massive achievement.

I just don’t understand why it’s not working and I think that’s the hardest part. If there were a reason then it’s something that can be processed.
We have to wait for AF to come and then can start on the cycle after that but as Christmas is close, it’ll be January.

@Jemima1930 it's a cruel world isn't it but at least you still have 4 left! One of them has got to work 🤗 how long do you have to wait before you can start the transfer again?

We’ve used 4 of our embryos and have 4 left so I guess we just keep moving forward and keep going.
As a same sex couple, we didn’t qualify for NHS treatment when we started 18 months ago so we had to go private 🤦🏽‍♀️
Surely, it’s got to work at some point!!

@MR5TD4 thanks I'm not that good I tested stupidly at 8 dpo 🤦🏼‍♀️and it was negative so I'm just holding out now! How many dpo are you? Wishing you lots of baby dust to ✨

@Jemima1930 oh no 😢 it's ever so sad isn't it. I'm 30 also West Midlands. I have a friend who has had IVF with the NHS and privately and neither have worked it's just heart breaking isn't it 💔. What do you plan to do next? Thanks for the well wishes 😘 but I'm not holding out much hope this cycle tbh 😞

11 dpo 2nd cycle of 50 mg clomid positive ovulation test confirmed with 21 day bloods. Covered my fertile days. Hoping I've caught but feel no different at all and my boobs feel so deflated 🤦🏼‍♀️ this is the first time I've ovulated in 17 months I think. I don't want to test yet as I'm scared of getting a chemical so I'm just going to see if AF turns up. Just need a bit of convo with other people in the same boat as it's a lonely time sometimes 🤗

Hey! Good plan not to test. We’ve tested again today and still negative so I think it’s game over for us on this occasion. Onto the next!

UK too (West Midlands), Been with my husband 13years are we didn't get married until June this year! Because of covid pfft!...we've been trying to conceive for 11years on and off. I had my first lot of clomid in 2016 fell pregnant on the second round but miscarried at 11 weeks most heartbreaking experience I've been through, we tried again later in 2017 because I just wasn't in the right frame of mind that failed..we decided to stay off all meds while I worked on my weight ect because I have PCOS..planned to get married in 2020 covid then hit...wedding got postponed lost quite a lot of weight now we're on Clomid again successfully ovulated on CD17 and I'm currently 3DPO...so trying all things possible not to think about how long the TWW is!!...really hope you get a sticky healthy BFP soon!

So what’re your stories?
We’re in the U.K. so I think the lingo and process is different!
This is our 4th frozen embryo transfer and we used a day 5 blastocyst.
The first transfer ended in blighted ovum. The second was a chemical pregnancy and the third failed.
We’re a same sex couple but my partner will be carrying and have a mix of both our embryos in the freezer but hopefully we won’t need them for a couple years!

BFN for us this morning at 6dp5dt. Our other FETs showed positive at day 6 😔

Your the same as me! ... it worked for a while but once I was finished you start thinking of all the possibilities again 🤦🏽‍♀️
