Anybody 1DPO?

Bit of background, we’ve been trying to concieve
for 11 years and I was diagnosed with PCOS, we successfully got pregnant on clomid in 2016 sadly ended in miscarriage at 11 weeks. Due to getting married we held off for a while plus covid got in the way. So now we’re trying again I’m back on clomid after losing some lbs and adopting a more healthy life style, I’ve successfully ovulated this month which feels like a massive achievement.

Here’s to our 🌈
never giving up. #1DPO

@PCOSunfortunately - that's the worse! And I would recommend carrying on but it's your own personal choice, I had to take a break before just for my own sanity. I hope AF flows fully for you asap are you taking it 2-6 ?

So I tested this morning BFN at 12dpo. Then when I went to the toilet again I've had brown discharge so that's when I thought I'm out as in day 28 today but from when I ovulated I should come on Friday that would be 30 days. I'm cramping now like period pains but I've seen no more blood since this morning 😕 I'm just going to wait to see what Friday brings I think! My partner wants us to carry on with the clomid next month as it's in my system now. Just so frustrating because if this is day 1 of period I should be taking my 3rd cycle of clomid tomorrow who knows. Our body plays lots of tricks on us 😢

@Jemima1930 I've purposely not brought any tests to stop me testing early 🤣

@MR5TD4 sorry your sister in law to! I've just worked out if I pull the message board down I can see our messages. I was like how am I going to remember all this! 🙈Wow that's a lot to keep you occupied isn't it!! A year 😮 I was frustrated when it was 5 months, mind you it could of been a year as I started taking ino folic after 3 months after I read about it then had a period within the next two months. How many months have you been given this time? They've game me 6 months worth. Three months at 50mg and then three months at 100mg then sent me on my merry way but because of my positive opk I asked for a blood test off my doctors! So frustrating isn't it that they don't track you properly! Wishing you all the luck in the world for this cycle ✨🧘‍♀️

6 months worth this time at 100mg..bless ya it's a hard experience but as long a healthy baby is the result we'll all be happy!

I'll let you know how I get on! 🤞🏼✨🌈

Oh brilliant glad that you was being monitored! Well done on loosing 3 stone to that's amazing!! How many dpo did you find out last time or did you not know? I take metformin and inofolic alpha that's what I think has regulated my periods from 106 days at my worst to 28-37. Although my first clomid pushed be back to 41 days I thought here we go again 🤦🏼‍♀️but this one made me ovulate so hopefully it's regulating me even more! I was shocked because my opk was so low on day 14 and then on the morning of day 15 it was peak. I was so shocked as I've never saw a positive before just two lines 🤣 it's good that you have your sister to go though all of this with you. Really helps doesn't it. My sister in law knows about me and let's me take my nephew out with my mates kids as they all go to the same school as I think she feels sorry for me and she gets a break 🤣

Well I have 6 nieces and 8 nephews so I get plenty of practice 🤣

I was monitored the first time but not this time but that's not unheard of in the UK the generally just give you tablets and send you on your way for a few months which is frustrating!

I ovulated on CD17, i could go 12 months without a period it was a nightmare! Last time I didn't track with OPKs I knew I ovulated due to EWCM so I'm unsure how many DPO I was! 🤣 ..I just remember testing on a Tuesday and it was negative and then again on the Saturday and it was positive 🫣

@MR5TD4 I need some of your positivity! What round of clomid did you fall pregnant on the last time you took it? Are you on 50mg or a 100mg? How you finding it do you get any side effects. Sorry for all the questions 🙈

My first time I got pregnant on 150mg on my second month. My gynaecologist put me straight on 100mg which failed so was upped the second month and was the perfect dosage.

This time round I ovulated 100mg after I lost 3 stone, I also take myo-d inisitol and B6 vitamins which is meant to help stabilise your progesterone. So I definitely recommend adding those in. I will also be requesting progesterone pessaries when I catch again as this is my I miscarried last time.

Clomid symptoms I get are hot flushes while taking them and then around ovulation I get a full feeling around my pelvic area almost like trapped wind! I have a lot of support my husband is amazing and my sister in law is although she has 4 children and hasn't experienced this she is the most amazing supporter going and has been there every step of the way which has helped my positivity a lot last time I didn't really open and kept it all in and it's the worst thing I've ever done.

I can tell her my fears and worries without feeling judged and she literally researches everything without me asking 🤣

@MR5TD4 it does doesn't it! And how are you feeling?

I'm feeling positive I've learnt having a negative mind set doesn't help the situation..So I'm all about PMA at the moment!

I try not symptom spot as I didn't have any symptoms the last time I got pregnant so I know you don't necessarily get symptoms this early on. It would be amazing if it happened this month but I know it's a marathon and not sprint so 🤞🏼

Caved in ladies and it's a BFN 👎🏻 I've been having headaches and sicky feeling all day. The kind that I used to get when I had my week break off the pill! Oh well just need to get used my symptoms of having periods again I think 😢🤦🏼‍♀️

It's not over until AF shows Implantation can be as early as 5DPO and as late as 11DPO. 🤞🏼

We have most definitely got this!...it's crazy you get taught in school that if you even looked at sperm you would get pregnant, they don't teach you that it's not that simple and everybody is different.

We just have to keep looking ahead and fight on, hopefully soon we will all get what we're wishing for ✨👶🏼🌈

Excited to see how you ladies have got on in the coming weeks ahead! Hopefully, no drinking for any of you over the Christmas period, I’ll be sure to have a glass of wine on your behalf 🤣
Funny that we’re all West Mids!

We've got this girls specially with Christmas round the corner. I thought I'd have my own little one by now but things don't always work out do they. Just have to enjoy Christmas in other ways 😞🥰
