Anybody 1DPO?

Bit of background, we’ve been trying to concieve
for 11 years and I was diagnosed with PCOS, we successfully got pregnant on clomid in 2016 sadly ended in miscarriage at 11 weeks. Due to getting married we held off for a while plus covid got in the way. So now we’re trying again I’m back on clomid after losing some lbs and adopting a more healthy life style, I’ve successfully ovulated this month which feels like a massive achievement.

Here’s to our 🌈
never giving up. #1DPO

Eeeek!! You can't test yet don't do it to yourself! How you feeling still hungry? Yes it arrived!! Finally! Start my 3rd cycle of clomid tomorrow! Fingers crossed would be the best present ever! Cheeky question and you don't have to answer if you don't want to but how's everyone's partners sperm analysis?

@Yolo23 wishing you all the luck in the world for this cycle ✨ that's promising that you've had your smiley on your digital! Are your cycles usually regular? Oh yeah the TTC sex is not fun when it's timed and definitely not spontaneous! I'm cycle day 1 haha my AF came yesterday evening so it's a fresh new cycle for me 😊 love that we're all the same age! xxx

Whey atleast AF has arrived so you can start a fresh! Maybe a BFP just before Christmas!!

I'm dying to test but it's pointless I'm on 7DPO..slowest two weeks of my life!

@MR5TD4 the post about looking at a sperm made me laugh. I had the same fear and thought it was easy to end up pregnant with quads.

🤣 it's true though!!

@PCOSunfortunately no further investigations so far - the ovulation appeared to be normal before when I had tests and I had a smiley stay on when I done the digital ov test for the very first time this month! I’m now fully on the bandwagon with testing for ovulation and currently down the slippery slope of timing it precisely 🤣 I’m 31 in March, trying for our first. Fingers crossed to you my lovely 🥰 what CD are you currently on? I speak as if I know what I’m talking about 😂 only found out what that means myself just now (I’m CD20).

@PCOSunfortunately - it would be amazing! There's only my husband and sister in law that know we're trying again so they're both like bottles of pop at the minute waiting to explode 🤣

@MR5TD4 yeah that's what I've read. I've also read that a sudden drop in progesterone can cause it as my progesterone was 41.5 I've never prob had high enough progesterone to get a drop to cause it if you get me. Glad you're positive because I'm a negative Nelly 🤣

I suffer with low progesterone too comes with the PCOS urgh!

Well I can't shift this sickly feeling today and I'm constantly hungry..I had breakfast by 11am my stomach was going crazy like I hadn't eaten 😩

@MR5TD4 have you had spotting before AF on clomid out of interest? I had nothing last night and nothing today so far. AF is due tomorrow. Just unusual for me but I'm happy AF hadn't arrived yet as I have more time for next month without it being rushed 🤣

Occasionally I have but in general not that much, but clomid can cause spotting. I'd test again just incase implantation was later 🤞🏼 I'm big on hope so I'll always say your not out until AF has arrive on full flow 😀

@MR5TD4 and all hope it is OK if I join. It is reassuring reading this forum that there are others in same situation.

I had 5 day transfer on 14th November IVF was via ICSI. I am trying to not get over anxious. This is our first transfer b
my husband and I have been together for 10 years married nearly 5 and been trying to conceive for a long time.

Of course welcome to the gang!! @Scrumpy10 ... just to add to the above I'm also 30..31 the end of the month 🙈

Hello everyone!
This is my first post and it’s very strange to be back on a forum like this but I’ll give some background…
I was in a 10year relationship, we tried for almost 3 years - relationship broke down at the time I was awaiting surgery to investigate possible endo.
Long story short, endo was confirmed and I had a procedure to help.
Me and my new partner (of almost 3 years) who in hindsight I would now say is ‘the one’ 😅😂 have been trying just a few months but my gut tells me we’re in for a long ride. We’ve only been TTC since July but nothing has happened. I have used a digital ovulation kit this month (out of curiosity) and couldn’t have planned baby making any better than if I wrote it in a science book 🤓😂 but we will just see - I have come to the acceptance that it’s not going to happen although still have a tiny bit of hope that it may 🤞fingers crossed to everyone, who ever could have known it would be this difficult eh!? I’m coming up to 31 and from the UK. Xx

Welcome @Yolo23 - 🤞🏼 you've got this!

@Yolo23 sorry to hear what you've been through 😞 have you had any further investigations re ovulation are you on any medication at all? It's a tough old game isn't it this. You think it would be so easy but it's so god dam frustrating and tiring when you time it perfectly each time and each time you don't get caught 😔 I'm 30 31 In January so we're about the same age 😘 time is still on our side eh!?

@Daisy155 thank you but I don't think it'll be happy ending! I've just been to a fitness class to try and get it moving 🤣. No symptoms is good so I've read anyways!

@MR5TD4 thanks if not always the next cycle! Yeah it's really hard isn't it we say we won't test but really we know we will! So annoying!

@Qwayserdeyas are you ovulating naturally or are you on clomid to? Who'd have thought PCOS would be so traumatic for us all!

MR5TD4 · 16/11/2022 20:09

@PCOSunfortunately yep totally know that feeling! 🤞🏼 for next month!

@Daisy155 - apologies I've just realised I missed your 1st post..not to long left for you then! Have you decided what DPO your testing ?

I honestly don't think I'll hold out until the 23rd like I planned I'll be 10DPO Monday I'll more then likely cave 😩

Sorry to those who are out , I am trying to be hopeful for you @PCOSunfortunately I hope it could be implantation? If your AF is on Friday

fingers double crossed for you!!!

I am now at 7 dpo so just have to wait I really want this cycle to be the one but no symptoms as of yet!

PCOSunfortunately · 16/11/2022 15:35

@MR5TD4 thanks 😊 I definitely think it is AF because you know when you just know! I'm also not that lucky! I will keep you updated 😘 nearly another day for you closer to testing!

@MR5TD4 yeah I think we will just be able to squeeze it in. Nightmare isn't it. Yeah I'm taking it 2 to 6 that's what the gynaecologist told me to do. I did take it 3 to 7 at first as I read it has better outcomes but it didn't work for me 😞 what days do you take it? There's been nothing on my pad (tmi) today and it's gone from light pink to old blood again when I wipe. Could this be implantation bleeding or will AF hit me with it tonight. This is unusual for my periods to start this way there usually full flow first thing but the clomid could be effecting it 🤷‍♀️

I found clomid changed the way my AF arrived but not majorly..and I take it 2-6 like you I tried 3-7 once and it did nothing appears to Americans who go 3-7.

It could be implantation you never know!..I always feel like my body is broken but really some people just need a little bit more help then others.

Try and stay positive 🤞🏼
