Hey ladies,

Thought I would create a thread for those testing towards the end of Nov/early December.

I'm CD2, TTC first baby. On cycle 5.

fingers crossed for us all!

@BCxx I make FRER's positive when I'm not pregnant (I know, it's weird) otherwise I'd grab one of those. I think I'll wait a few days and grab a Clearblue.

Surprised90 · 24/11/2022 07:08

I am either 9 or 7 DPO - I couldn’t wait any longer and did a cheapy test from Home Bargains this morning - it was super negative. I’m on cycle 2 for baby #2, so don’t feel my disappointment is proportionate but I am gutted. I know it’s early and I have a digital to use later on the week- AF not due until either Wednesday or Thursday next week so I am being too keen - I admire people who can wait until AF is missed to test! Such willpower!!!

Surprised90 · 24/11/2022 07:04

@JuniperandI - I can see a definite line there. Haven’t got loads of experience with this but could it be a false negative on the other one or a
dodgy test?

I am guessing the advice is to wait it out? Which is not helpful really but seems to be the only thing that can be done. If you are post expecting AF maybe a digital test?

Kittenmum89 · 24/11/2022 06:58

Morning ladies.

thats me 8 DPO and woke up with horrid cramps and sore legs funnily enough. AF not due until Wednesday. So will see how this progresses.

BCxx · 24/11/2022 06:22

@JuniperandI ohhh! That’s confusing 🤔 do you have a FRER or a different test you could use? Surely if you get multiple positives that’s got to be a positive

Stilltobeseen · 24/11/2022 06:17

Jumping on this thread if that's OK. Cycle 1 ttc baby number 2. Conceived in month 7 with my first and it felt like a thousand years so hoping this time is quicker. I think I'm in my tww but not 100% sure as only started doing opks on CD 12 and have only gotten really strong positives no official peaks (I think). I would havebstarted testing earlier but promised myself I would be more chill about ttc this time...hahahaha. yea that lasted all of 5 minutes. We have BD PLENTY to cover us anyway starting at CD 10 so not worried too much about having missed the O if it's been and gone which going by CM I think it has. We've done a loose interpretation of SMEP this month. Ugh I hate this already. Due AF 8th Dec so we shall see. Loving the positivity on this thread and congratulations to all the BFP!

JuniperandI · 24/11/2022 05:41

Ladies, help!
My period was due yesterday, nothing.
I've taken two tests with FMU and one is positive, the other is negative.
The positive one is a Boots pregnancy test strip.

Just as a side note - I make pink dye tests positive when I'm not pregnant (a blood test didn't show anything unusual).
11/12 DPO, a few very mild symptoms that come and go.

I'm not sure what to think or do?!

@ChloeN this was it compared to yesterdays. The top one is usually my baseline when i’m not ovulating. Its def darker isnt it…

It’s loads darker! This is similar to how mine is today. Fingers crossed for us both!

ChloeN · 23/11/2022 20:53

@ChipAndDip i missed my peak this month too and I felt so down about it but it obviously did happen anyway, earlier than expected but probably because I was relaxed not testing as much!

ChipAndDip · 23/11/2022 20:41

I only tested twice on 1 day, maybe 2, so it’s possible it missed my peak. Or I just haven’t ovulated this cycle. Judging from other things (CM etc) I’m pretty sure it’s too late for me to ovulate now so I’ll just assume it was last week and see when I get my period.

Good luck with the testing @Roxybabe, hopefully your dark OPKs are a good sign! The darkest OPK I’ve ever had was when I was pregnant so 🤞 yours keep getting darker!

ChloeN · 23/11/2022 20:17

@Roxybabe easier said than done isn’t it 🙈 tbh at the time I tried not to think about it too much because there’s just no way of knowing! Xx

Roxybabe · 23/11/2022 20:14

@ChloeN it most probably was then in your case!! I’m 8dpo so it could be 🤞🙏🤞🙏

but then it also may not be! Anyways time for me to stop obsessing 😂 what will be will be 😬

OP posts:
ChloeN · 23/11/2022 20:11

@Roxybabe yes it was really unusual for me so that’s why I searched and saw it could be implantation🤣🤣 I think this cycle there was lots of little things that added up now I think of it!

@ChipAndDip thanks lovely!!❤️ did you test twice a day?? Could you of missed your static, 11 days seem ridiculous! Xx

ChipAndDip · 23/11/2022 20:06

That meant to say exciting about your BFP @ChloeN! OPKs on the mind! 🤦‍♀️

ChipAndDip · 23/11/2022 20:04

That’s so exciting about your OPK @ChloeN!

Well I’m also having OPK confusion, but in a different way. I’ve had a flashing smiley for 11 days! 😱 I definitely felt like I ovulated last week but my lines have stayed roughly the same for a week so I don’t think I can have. I only have one test left so if it’s still flashing tomorrow I’m giving up!

Roxybabe · 23/11/2022 20:03

@ChloeN when you got your higher reading at CD21 did you think anything of it and read into it like me? 😂 or just forget about it? I see you got a 0.4 something like me?

OP posts:
ChloeN · 23/11/2022 20:03

@Roxybabe thats why i take them, they’re not as definite are they🤣

@Misspotterscat lol do it why not 😂

Roxybabe · 23/11/2022 20:01

@ChloeN oh no I’ll def keep testing LH, even if I’m not pregnant just so I can see what the norm is for me. LHs dont scare me as much 😂

OP posts:
Misspotterscat · 23/11/2022 19:59

@Roxybabe @ChloeN after reading this thread ok just off to take an opk 😂 5dpo

ChloeN · 23/11/2022 19:56

@Roxybabe you doing any more opks or stopping with those for a few days too? Xx

ChloeN · 23/11/2022 19:55

@BCxx the ones called how I got pregnant on the first month trying!🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Roxybabe · 23/11/2022 19:55

@ChloeN i’ll keep you posted!

OP posts:
ChloeN · 23/11/2022 19:51

@Roxybabe easy@home was what I used so they seem quite sensitive! I have never had an evap or indent on them! Yes I had cramps at 6 dpo ish, then sore boobs for first time since mmc, increased cm and the day before bfp I went for a wee 4 times in a hour, I drink lots of water but that’s just ridiculous! I understand holding out though seeing a bfn is just awful xx

Roxybabe · 23/11/2022 19:46

@BCxx oh yeah I watched them thinking they would tell me of some miraculous baby making tips but they are all literally dipping OPKs and sticking them in a notepad 😂😂 no shade to anyone who does this!
