End of November testers (TTC August Baby)

I’m driving myself stir crazy here. AF was due 2 days ago (Sunday) and I’m usually like clockwork. Sunday night got my classic AF warning signs, tender boobs, lower back twings, but no AF. It’s normal for me to have a day or so variation, so fully expected for AF to arrive yesterday. Still nothing. Sorry for TMI, but yesterday I got a sudden rush of discharge, so immediately went to the loo, thinking that AF had arrived, but no.
I still feel like I’m due on my period, so fully expect it to arrive today, but every time I go to the loo and there’s nothing I get more nervous!
Now, I was under the weather at the start of the month and me and DH have totally missed ovulation this month, so I’m pretty sure late AF can be explained away, but it’s still tripping me out.
I know, once I send this message AF will come and say hello 😅

AF is due tomorrow and I'd convinced myself this month was my month as I'd got nausea and firm boobs but just had the tiniest bit of brown blood when wiping and now I'm convinced I'm not pregnant.
I'm holding off on testing right now as my DH is abroad but he's back today so I'm desperate to test later to rule myself out properly.
This is only our first month of trying and I thought I wasn't bothered if it didn't happen yet as the longer it takes the more money we can save but seeing that tiny bit of spotting has got me down 😕
Need a hand hold til tonight/ words of encouragement that it was only a tiny bit and I still might have a chance

@Elephantrose18 I'm sorry to hear that. I guess all you can do is wait and test again in a couple of days. I hope you get good news. I do think the blue ones are less sensitive.

@Chanteuse ha - I'm 6dpo and did a negative test this morning - and I'll probably test again tomorrow... completely ridiculous but I just cant not!

I’m 7dpo today and did a test - obviously negative (why do we do it to ourselves?!)

Having a few symptoms but trying to ignore as don’t want to get my hopes up!

@Elephantrose18 I think false positives are so rare so could be a very early chemical 😔 I had really faint lines for 2 days in sept and it never progressed so I either put that down to a bad bunch of tests or a chemical

@ChloeN took a 3 different tests today, first response, clear blue dye, and a tescos own. Looked negative :(
i give up now!

it’s either a dodgy test that I had giving me a false positive (it was definitely there, a pink line within 2 minutes) or I’ve managed to pick up the slightest hormone and having a chemical? no idea what to think.

@OneHundredOtters I think sometimes you just need to test to see the BFN to get it out your system 😂

7dpo and tested because I couldn't resist. Can't see anything but wasn't expecting too. BBT has dipped slightly which is promising but im not sure how accurate it will be as I had some wine last night.

I tested again this morning at 10dpo. I was so sure there was a shadow of something at first but it was definitely then a bfn. Feel so disheartened

9DPO and BFN today. LH isn't showing any increase either. Wish I'd temped. I feel as though AF is coming, and I don't feel quite as positive today, but we'll see.

@LAgeDeRaisin I've been feeling crampy since O, but it increased over the weekend and yesterday I felt as though I'd done 200 situps! Seems to have gone today though

11DPO and BFN this morning. I think I’m out again. This is exhausting after 11 months TTC already. Doesn’t help that I have been flued up these past few days either. Just waiting for AF to show up now, due on Wednesday. Wishing everyone still in the game lots of luck ✨

I tested yesterday at 8dpo but planning to test again because I can’t help myself. Although I’m thinking I’m out anyway as feeling irritable today which is normal for me a couple of days before AF is due. AF is due on Friday so the feelings are a bit earlier than normal but I’m assuming that’s what it is

Anyone else feeling lower abdominal cramping? I'm 5dpo and feel very crampy. VEEERRRY much hoping that it's the cramp of implantation and not the cramp of me catching norovirus from one of the noro patients at work today.... just in time for my 6 days annual leave 😱

@Roxybabe eek sorry I had this incorrect assumption the Mumsnet was mostly a british thing! So I guess we must be from all over!

I used the Boots normal cheap one and it’s negative.
But not giving up, it wouldn’t pick up anything now as it’s the one that should be used starting with missed period day.

@Elephantrose18 can you get a clearblue ultra early digital? That gave me a positive when my line was like the pic below. If the test you’ve done wasn’t fmu I’d imagine tomorrow with fmu would be darker xx

usually I am squinting after a while trying to imagine those lines. But I looked at this one after 2 minutes, I nearly fell over when I saw the faint line straight away!!! never have I seen even a smidge before. although I know I need to wait a bit longer for a darker one (if I am!) fingers crossed.

I would think it's too early for a word one but maybe not for another pink line test.

@ChloeN I really want to test in the morning, but do you think it would be any darker by then? don’t they say it takes a couple days for it to double? I was going to get a clear blue tomorrow so I can see the words, but don’t want to be disheartened if it says ‘not pregnant’ in case it’s too early still. as they can take longer to come up?Xx
