Hey ladies,

Thought I would create a thread for those testing towards the end of Nov/early December.

I'm CD2, TTC first baby. On cycle 5.

fingers crossed for us all!

@SarahEvans1996 Thankyou!! I’m hoping the same. The only thing confusing is the positive test on Sunday, you’d think if this was implantation bleeding why would it have been positive a few days ago? just keep thinking it’s not going to happen for me :(

SarahEvans1996 · 30/11/2022 11:47

I'd definitely get a pink dye test, if you already started spotting your period would have only gotten heavier, but the fact it hasn't is hopeful!
It could be implantation so leaving it a couple of days would be good as the hcg needs time to increase to get a good line on the test, but definitely get a pink dye test!
🤞🤞

so bit of an update.. I’m not really sure what’s going on. I had a negative clear blue digital yesterday I only got a positive (within 2 minutes) on a pink first response on Sunday. I’m due AF tomorrow. Yesterday I had burning cramps and I tiny bit of light pinky weird discharge possibly spotting when I wiped. I thought oh no, she’s on her way and im having a chemical or it just was a dodgy test. anyway, woke up this morning expecting AF to be there or at least more spotting..but cramps have gone and no more blood when I wipe?
maybe she’s still on her way, but I’m can’t rule it out yet! Too scared to take another test. maybe I should get another pink dye?

Hi!
I'm jumping in on this thread 💕
I had a miscarriage back in July at 7 weeks💔 and have been trying again since end of August, so this will be cycle 4 of trying 🙏
I'm currently 8dpo I keep telling myself not to symptom spot because I did that last month and drove myself crazy😔 but I have indeed started to symptom spot🙄🤣 my period isn't due till the 7th of December and I have a 28/29 day cycle like clockwork!

I've been so run down this week 😴 Monday I was extremely exhausted, headaches and bunged up, but not like a cold🤔 not so tired now but still bunged up, I've been having mild cramps/pinches in my abdomen, but I'm also thinking I'm constipated (tmi sorry!) so wondering if the pains I'm getting is down to that more than my actual uterus? 🤔 the only time I've ever been constipated is when I was pregnant with my daughter and that wasn't till I was like 35 weeks!
Anyway other symptoms, I've been breaking out since the start of the week which barely happens to me, and today I went to the bathroom and had quite a bit of CM which was white, and quite a lot more than I've had during my cycles (again tmi sorry!!)
My boobs aren't really feeling sore or anything which I have had in both previous pregnancies so not hopeful!

Sorry that was a long one!! But I'm driving myself crazy I had to get all that shared 🤣 xx

@marleyandme that looks really promising!!! Fingers crossed for an even darker line next time you test, I can def see a faint line there though.

Still no sign of AF and I’m now on CD31 (usually my cycles are 27 days). I couldnt sleep a wink last night so finally bought some FRER tests this morning. I’m absolutely bricking it. No idea as to when I can test as I’m in work, so it might have to wait till this evening/tomorrow first thing.

@BebeYoda i thought I was 14DPO, but that is based on an average woman's cycle in Clue, as I've only recently come off the pill so it could be miles out compared to mine. It's faint if it's 14dpo isn't it? I don't know how strong lines normally are at this stage
It's clearer than yesterday's though so 🤞
I hope the days pass quickly for you to test again too 😊

As ChloeN said, so long as it's getting darker then it's all good! Some people don't get a positive until days after their period is due. It looks really good to me ☺️

ChloeN · 30/11/2022 08:32

@marleyandme looks good🤞🏻 think it depends when you implanted to how dark your lines would be at this point tbh so I wouldn’t worry as long as they’re getting darker!

@marleyandme that's looking so good! 🤞 How many DPO are you? I'd be super excited if my line looked like that today ☺️

marleyandme · 30/11/2022 08:04

@BebeYoda the waiting is awful isn't it!

Sorry this photo seems to be upside down 😂 this came up within 5 minutes so I'm tentatively hopeful. Maybe I'm due AF later than today? Will get some other rests and test again in a few days and see if it's any stronger 🤞

I'm 11DPO today. Took a FRER test and I think I can see the beginnings of a second line, but it's just a shadow. More waiting 😩

BebeYoda · 30/11/2022 07:20

@marleyandme good luck for today! Wait 5 minutes 😅

marleyandme · 29/11/2022 20:48

@CityKity you're right, I'm just using a cheap amazon pack they're not early ones. I've fished it out the bin and now we both think we see a very faint line, never thought I'd be a line squinter but here I am! It says on the pack that a positive might appear within 1 minute but to wait up to 5 to confirm a negative. Tbh we both waited all of about 1 minute, couldn't see anything so left it!
I've had a positive previously and that came up so quick I was expecting it to this time as well.
Will test again first thing in the morning and see what that looks like, and maybe wait the correct amount of time tomorrow too 😂

CityKity · 29/11/2022 20:40

@marleyandme ahh damn, I’m sorry it’s not the result you were hoping for. You said AF was due tomorrow, so maybe wait and see what happened in case the test was just too early?! What brand of test are you using?
At least you can enjoy Christmas festivities guilt free without having to be extra careful! Just think of this cycle as one step closer to the one that gets you the BFP 🤞🤞🤞

marleyandme · 29/11/2022 20:16

It was a BFN! Didn't think I cared much about this cycle until I saw that so a bit gutted 😕 ah well, got to remind myself of all the positives and being able to save a bit more

@BebeYoda I didn’t have a TWW as I ruled myself out this month, but my god, ever since I got AF twinges on Sunday night, the days/hours/minutes have dragged! The actually TWW must feel like eternity! I have so much work to do today and can’t concentrate on a single thing.

Fingers crossed that feeling under the weather is a good sign and not a bug brewing 🤞. It seems so variable as to what (if any) symptoms people have! When are you planning to test again?

Fingers crossed for you! 🤞 I feel exactly the same, so much to do but I just can't focus.

I'd love to say I'll hold off until AF is due but who am I kidding 😅 I'll be testing again in the morning I'm sure ☺️

LAgeDeRaisin · 29/11/2022 14:39

7dpo and feeling really miserable about it all. I just want to know one way or the other. It's so draining.

BebeYoda · 29/11/2022 12:54

I'm 10DPO today and feeling off. I have a really strange feeling in my stomach, somewhere inbetween queazy and just uugh. A bit of an anxious / cringey feeling I guess. I can't really describe it, but it isn't very nice. Still stark white BFN this morning. No sore bbs. Not particularly tired. No idea if my off feeling is a good sign or if maybe I've picked up a bug (or imagining it!). How can two weeks feel soooooo long?!

CityKity · 29/11/2022 12:54

@marleyandme I’m in the same boat, currently just going off Clue which predicts ovulation at CD14 (I have a 27/28 day cycle). I thought CD14 seemed bang on as last month I had quite sharp ovulation pain on my right side around CD13/14.
Another reason I think I must have totally missed the window this month! Today is CD30 so if AF comes today that cycle would be 29 days which is totally within reason, so I think I’m just flapping around and panicking prematurely.
Are you testing this evening when your DH is back?? So nerve wracking!

BebeYoda · 29/11/2022 12:51

@CityKity and @marleyandme there's definitely still time and hope, fingers crossed for you both

marleyandme · 29/11/2022 12:17

@CityKity ah you have so much restraint in holding off testing! Good for you 😊
I'm not really tracking ovulation at the moment, we wanted to take it easy with the first cycle but my DH started suggesting getting the tests to maybe next cycle if we're out. I'm basing it on being CD14 assuming I have a 28 day cycle, and I had CM then so it's probably around right, but I came off the pill in September so I've only had 1 AF since then so it's all guesswork on Clue based on an average cycle at the moment!

CityKity · 29/11/2022 10:48

@marleyandme nope haven’t tested yet! I have no idea what symptoms to look out for, I just feel like I should be coming on AF any minute now (but for the last 2.5 days).
Me and DH DTD on cycle day 8 and 20 closest to ovulation as we have guests staying and then he was sick, so it’s just ridiculously unlikely.
We are planning on trying more seriously from Jan, so I’m just chalking this down to my body/mind playing tricks on me. If AF doesn’t show up by tomorrow/Thurs then I’ll test.
🤞for your test later!! Remember it’s such a tricky timing game and even if it’s not the news you want, there’s zero reason to be worried for next cycle. Do you have a good idea of when you ovulate? I haven’t tried testing strips or body temp yet, but it does seem like ovulation varies a lot more that I thought.

marleyandme · 29/11/2022 10:33

@CityKity have you tested yet? If you're overdue AF and have symptoms then there's hope 🤞
Thanks for the support 😊 today is going to drag so much until DH comes back and I can test with him and find out either way!

CityKity · 29/11/2022 10:15

@marleyandme sorry you’re feeling down. I’m not an expert but have spent a lot of time on the conception boards recently and isn’t a tiny bit of spotting often a sign of implantation? Don’t rule yourself out just yet! I think on the Dec testers thread one lady even had a light bleed, ruled herself out and turned out to be pregnant!
Im also in the first 2 months of TTC, and not even trying properly just yet, but it really messes with your head so quickly.
Even if you are out this month, you have another month to save, plan ahead, and have loads of fun with DH!
