I’m 4 weeks and have had mild, period like cramps today, I’ve looked at so many threads and googled lots and it’s a totally normal early symptom and nothing to worry about as long as you’re not bleeding too (and even then it might be okay!)

An update from my previous post..
I did a frer with a solid pink line, darker than yesterday and a Pregnant 1-2 weeks on a digital I was losing my minnd this morning to say the least.

AF not due till Monday and I'm so nervous it won't stick. I have had period like pains a few times and convinced its all in my head..
Any advice?

Question for anyone who has fallen pregnant before - what's the latest DPO that you've tested positive after testing negative the days before?

For example has anyone tested negative at 11/12/13 DPO then positive after?

I'm really trying to hold off testing until AF is due (which will be 13DPO for me, today is 10DPO) but interested to know anyone experience of this in case I get tempted 😂

Sorry, can't really help with your question, with my 24 year old I didn't find out till about 5 months, with my 3 year old I was a week late before I tested, and with my 1 year old and this pregnancy I tested positive quite early (7dpo with 1 year old and 9/10 dpo this time) that's not to say what you're asking isn't possible, apparently the most common day to implant is 9dpo, so if your base level HCG is naturally very low, it could take quite a few days for it to rise enough to show on a pregnancy test

Having said all that though, if you are able to resist until you're due on, it would be highly likely to show then if you are pregnant, so if it's negative I'd take that as true, and only test again a good few days later if you're period is a no show

I definitely would have tested by now lol but if you've only got a week's indicator I'd wait till 12 dpo as they're sooo expensive! It'd be awful to "waste" it!

@monsteramunch thank you, still can’t believe it. I’m 11DPO so still very early days but just seeing the line getting a bit darker everyday is the best feeling😍

@oldmumnewmum I’m not feeling too bad actually, boobs were sore for a couple of days but not bad now. I feel nauseous that’s my main symptom and all day. Couldn’t eat last night just a constant sicky feeling. Everything is all new to me I think I’ll constantly be worrying with every cramp and twinge - tell me the anxiety fades a little after a few weeks? 🙈🙈

I wish I could tell you that the anxiety fades, but it doesn't lol the goal posts just change, first you just need to get past your period, then to the first scan, then the second, then the birth, then past the newborn stage, and so on...I have a 24 year old son... the anxiety is still there! Your life has just changed in the most scariest, exciting, amazing way and will never be the same again, welcome to parenthood! You're guna love it!

I'm resisting this time!

The discharge hasn't happened before and I know it can be a sign so it's tempting but I'm going to wait until AF is due I think.

These (phantom?) period pains are really painful though. Haven't had that before at this point in my cycle either.

If it's just an early period I'm going to be absolutely gutted 😞

Really hoping it's not just that arriving early. It's never usually early!

I went and got a clear blue early digital yesterday afternoon (couldn’t help myself) and seeing the word pregnant I am on cloud 9. My FRER I took this morning looks a lot stronger def doubled in the 48 hours which is a good sign so I’m keeping all my fingers and toes crossed (while imaginary shopping thinking of what I can buy online when the time comes )🤞🏻

Congratulations!!! It's amazing seeing the words and I'm so pleased you're lines are getting darker, how are you feeling?

I had some pretty bad cramps for a few days but they seem to be settling down now, my boobs feel a bit heavy and sore, slight nausea at times (like after decaf coffee, always an issue in my pregnancies lol) but apart from that I'm feeling fine, just want to get over this weekend when my period is due, then I'll feel more confident
