I went into hospital at 6+4 with bad pain on one side and bleeding, thinking the worst, and then they found an 11cm cyst on my ovary but baby was fine and unaffected - now 14+2 and cysts has drained itself
everything crossed that you and baby are ok xxx

Thanks for your kind words - I really appreciate it. I haven't told my parents or anyone until it's confirmed, so it's nice to tell someone about it (apart from DH of course, who has been wonderful)

Hey guys, unfortunately today has taken a turn - no bleeding, but I've had severe abdominal pain to one side since late morning, and vomited several times. Went to A&E and now admitted to hospital overnight, waiting for a scan in the morning. It's looking like an ectopic at the moment, but obviously need the scan to confirm.

At the moment I'm just grateful to be in hospital and getting some pain relief - I was dreading being sent home to wait, it would have been unbearable. The emotional impact will have to wait.

This year can only get better, hopefully

@Wrenegade scan is booked for the 12th when I'll be past 13 weeks so good in a way that we will see more hopefully but also annoying I have to wait longer 😂 time goes so slow in the first trimester doesn't it?!

@PPop it is ok if you didn’t test, it sounds like you were DTD regularly over the fertile period and that is the most important part. How exciting, keep us updated on how you’re getting on.

@MillieKitty gosh time has gone so quickly, I can’t believe you’re already 11 weeks + 3 ( exactly four weeks ahead of me). I’m so pleased to hear your symptoms have eased, it gives me hope. Do you have your 12 week scan booked yet?

@Mortima it will be interesting to see when we have our scans what the little beans are dated at. Especially when we test and track, and have quite a solid idea of when we ovulated. I sometimes wonder if I’m a bit further a long based on the strong positive at 9dpo and developing symptoms a few days earlier than they’re expected. It’s lovely to have you as a pregnancy buddy now. I’m really glad your nausea and sickness hasn’t been too intense. It helps me with nausea as well as sickness, I take 5mg three times a day and know when it is wearing off.

@anon1411 Agree with the advice to take a test, just in case - it's possible to have a bleed that looks like a period, but isn't. Fingers crossed for you!

@AROSE9 Wow, CD76! That does sound very long, but they say it can take months for your periods to settle down after coming off the pill. Definitely go back to the GP if it doesn't improve though. 12DPO is a reasonable time to test I think, most of us don't manage to hold out for that long!

@Wrenegade My former cycle buddy, somehow we're pretty much synced up again - I'm 7W2D today (although in reality I suspect a bit behind that, as I ovulated late). I'm so sorry you're feeling so rough, that sounds horrendous. I've been ok until the last few days when the nausea has really kicked in, but so far I've only actually been sick once. Does the medication help with the nausea itself, or just the vomiting? I'm pretty much just mainlining carbs all day to try and keep it at bay, and dreading going back to work this week.

@Wrenegade I'm now 11+3 and most symptoms have disappeared! So hang on in there, it does get better!

I am unsure when ovulation happened as didn't test at my parents so I'm just gonna wing it and see what happens, according to the app I'm 5DPO predicted... I definitely ovulated around Christmas time somewhere 😂 we have DTD regularly enough I think, time will tell!

Still very much rooting for everyone who might be still waiting for their BFP. How are other people’s pregnancies progressing?
I’m 7 weeks + 2 and have had serve morning sickness for two weeks. Medication has been a life saver to help me keep down water.

Hi everyone - I hope you don't mind me joining! I'm TTC #1 and currently 2DPO. However, since coming off the pill in August I have had irregular cycles (currently CD76) with this being my second peak (but higher than the last one!) so not sure if I'm just getting my hopes up for nothing.

Not sure if it's possible to conceive on such a long cycle but had my bloods done to see for PCOS etc and all come back fine!

I'm not sure when to start testing so might try and wait for 12DPO. Seen some really positive stories on here though which is nice!

@anon1411 id take a test to be sure... I had implantation bleeding and it was just like a normal period, was light but lasted 8 days (longer then normal but with being lighter I wouldn't have thought anything of it) ...the only reason I new it was IB was because I'd already taken a test

Just wondered if any of you ladies could give me some advice...

I had what I thought was a period from 16th to 18th December. First day was red, second day pink and brown- then it suddenly stopped half way through the day on the 18th- nothing heavy either day. So took that as a period (i came off the pill 7 weeks ago so cycles are funny atm) and worked out this week was my fertile week, 28th being my Ov day. But then today and yesterday I've had just light brown when wiping after going to the toilet and bad cramps alongisde this. I've got a major headache and feel a bit sick too.. boobs are heavy and sensitive.

Did I maybe mistake the 'period' for an IB? But If that was my period I'm technically only 2DPO, so is brown spotting normal for this early? 🤷‍♀️

@Emmalou0607 I really hope so I wasn't sure if it's because I've still been slightly snotty that caused the extra CM! But hopefully that means that this is the one!!

@PPop ah good news for your sister! Despite the sight jealousy at least you won't have to worry when you do announce your own bfp that it will upset her.

I know what you mean being weird doing it at parents, very greatful to have have had ovulation just before Xmas so managed to miss that awkwardness. Fingers crossed for you, all sounds really possitive!

I'm going to hold out till I've missed my period I think so another 6 days to go... as long as I don't cave in cause being off work means much more time to be tempted

@Emmalou0607 well christmas brought some news, not me but my sister she is super duper early doors. She's super stressed I am happy and just a tiny bit jealous! So lots of sticky vibes for her...

Us wise, I have had the most mucas I've ever produced downstairs! Not to be too gross but I have been almost constantly wet feeling it's strange never seen that before! So we obviously have DTD regularly inc at my parents which was strange but for the greater good. Feel nauseous this evening but I think that was just that ate too much garlic tonight, think I'm currently ovulating as weird twinges on my right! God have a blabbered on!

I'm okay, horribly bloated today and not too sure why (my Christmas diet is not dissimilar to my normal diet, I run a lot so I'm always snacking 😂) so I don't think it's that but who knows! 7dpo today and very impatient. Seems like the longest TWW so far.
