Hey hey, making this thread to lead on from last months. I’m 1 or 2 dpo today and I’m going to try and not symptom spot this month!! Also going to try my best to not test until 12dpo at the earliest!

what DPO are you all?

@Mortima I think DH would collapse bless him! He's got some super intense jobs atm (he has a physical job) so I think he likes some rest 😂 more then me anyway as my work is just office work so not as physically demanding.
I like the tracking just have so many questions I've learnt more on this thread then stalking about on mumsnet for the last few months!

Mortima · 07/11/2022 13:44

@Peeonastick22 Ah sorry to see that, but you're only 9DPO - definitely not out of the game yet!

Mortima · 07/11/2022 13:43

It's such a lot to wrap your head around, and general admin if you go all in with OPKs, BBT charting @PPop - nothing wrong with going with the flow for a bit though! I know some people just have sex every couple of days throughout the month so they're pretty much covered without having to track anything, but I don't think I have the stamina for that!

Emmalou0607 · 07/11/2022 13:43

@Peeonastick22 not out yet! Feel like this is going to be a long week for a lot of us!

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 13:35

@Peeonastick22 nooo sorry to hear that, you're not out until AF makes an appearance!

Peeonastick22 · 07/11/2022 13:27

Uuuggghh I couldn’t resist and tested- my method clearly doesn’t work 😂wish I hadn’t- stark white- so discouraging

@Mortima it's my first cycle paying attention to ovulation etc but I think 3rd TTC we just didn't do any testing let it all fly free for a couple months...

Then I figured I need to pay attention and work out when and what as I am not getting any younger!

It is such a minefield trying to work out all the bits to do!

Mortima · 07/11/2022 12:23

@PPop All could be good signs, fingers crossed for you! Is this your first cycle TTC?

@Wrenegade I'm jealous of your nipples! 😅Sorry you feel rubbish though, but could well be a good sign, particularly as your temp is high. My temperature is exactly the same as it was yesterday, but at least it hasn't dropped (yet).

@Peeonastick22 I will adopt your strategy to not testing! (Although I'm WFH this afternoon so might cave) - if you normally get spotting at 7DPO and haven't this time then I'd be quietly encouraged by that.

@MillieKitty Glad things are still well with you lovely, I can't imagine how anxiety-inducing this stage is for you - definitely a good idea to put the FRERs away

PPop · 07/11/2022 10:19

@Emmalou0607 thank you for that! I read the whole thing smoked salmon and making sure my soft cheeses are cooked through are the biggest takeaway there thankfully! I was surprised at the oily fish and tuna so that was definitely interesting reading!

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 10:17

Thank you @Emmalou0607 ! I'm quite lucky as I'm very fussy with cheese and only really like Philadelphia and cheddar!

Emmalou0607 · 07/11/2022 10:02

@PPop @MillieKitty

Cooked soft cheeses that are safe to eat in pregnancy
Thorough cooking should kill any bacteria in cheese, so it should be safe to eat cooked mould-ripened soft cheese, such as brie, camembert and chevre, and cooked soft blue cheese, such as roquefort or gorgonzola, or dishes that contain them.

@Emmalou0607 if this wasn't a dream it may be that my dream has just come true 😂

I mean I may be getting ahead of myself... I can't stop noticing odd things! Like the pulling sensation in my womb area has now settled and my breasts were tender last night but less tender this morning but my nipples are very strange sensation wise - like to touch.
Then the smell thing remains I'm struggling with the dogs food - sorry dogs 😂
And DH whenever he's been on a workout day smells strongly of protein! It may be I've just been going crazy but I feel these are things... then I feel fear because oh my god what if I'm imagining it all!!! 🫣

Emmalou0607 · 07/11/2022 09:24

I'm obsessed with cheese (well food in general) so I've spent a lot of time looking at do's and don'ts 😂 I'm sure I've read that unpasteurised cheese like Camembert you can have if it's been cooked. I'll see if I can find it again or if I was dreaming

PPop · 07/11/2022 09:21

@MillieKitty I was so hoping that if it was cooked it would be totally fine to eat it's my guilty treat 😂

I think that and cocktails are my only treats that I can no longer have 😂

Wreakingball · 07/11/2022 09:20

Haha I had to go for a wee quickly this morning so I didn’t have time to think about testing 😆. Also going to hold out til 11dpo as I usually have my period by then so hopefully it would be good news.

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 09:17

@PPop my sister kept eating Camembert throughout her pregnancies even though I told her not too haha, but she was fine! But yeah best to test so you can relax and enjoy it

PPop · 07/11/2022 09:14

@MillieKitty see I'm on a sticky wicket as I am going out for a meal Friday...

Usually I'd have Camembert, but that's soft cheese 😂 I'm sure you aren't meant to have soft cheese?!

Also cocktails so I feel best testing prior 😂

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 09:13

@PPop I ended up testing 8 or 9dpo, I'd never usually test that early but I wasn't well and I just wanted to rule it out 😆

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 09:12

@Peeonastick22 I'm three weeks and five days, I'm just hoping that this one will stick as I implanted earlier than the CP cycle

PPop · 07/11/2022 09:11

@MillieKitty that makes perfect sense! How far along are you? When did you first test? Very excited for you!

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 09:09

@PPop oh no don't be sorry! Frers are first response tests where you read the lines, it can be stressful seeing fainter lines when you know you're pregnant but people like to see the line progression on them

Peeonastick22 · 07/11/2022 09:09

@MillieKitty gosh I know that anxiety, you’re still going strong though and things should only get more and more set in stone with each day!
when was your last AF how many weeks are you now?

PPop · 07/11/2022 09:07

@MillieKitty I am so sorry to ask but what is frers and why is it bad?

We have been trying as in throwing caution to the wind for a little bit but this month I tracked more so I am on a learning thing!

I think I'm now 7 DPO this is dragging I don't know when to test! It's such a minefield! 😂

Peeonastick22 · 07/11/2022 09:06

@Mortima I’m 9dpo and feeling the same! Really having to resist the urge to test.

Each time I go to wee I’m telling myself I can test on my next wee if I’m desperate to test 😂 seems to be working so far.

I’m actually feeling less this cycle symptom wise than I did the last one, not sure if that’s good or bad- the only reason that I’m not convincing myself that I’m not pregnant is that I didn’t get my 7dpo spotting!

Good luck everyone I really hope we get some positives this cycle! 🤞

All of your symptoms sound promising you guys! 🤞🏼 well I'm still pregnant but major anxiety about it as it is still so early, been avoiding using frers but did a digital which calmed me a bit!
