Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. Please feel free to leave this one if you don't feel the same but I feel so invested in your journeys and don't want to miss any news. Hoping this is ok, I don't think you can do DM as a group?
Hope you are all doing well and if there's anyone I've missed from the usual bunch feel free to add 😘😘😘

@LuckyMoonstone @FfayeN

I'm so sorry for both your experiences that make Christmas so hard. Will be thinking of you Flowers

MrsCristianoX · 29/11/2022 08:41

@pangolin84 there's a definite line!! tentative congratulations 🥰

TheBirdintheCave · 29/11/2022 08:41

@LuckyMoonstone That must be so hard :( I'm really sorry.

FfayeN · 29/11/2022 08:31

@LuckyMoonstone I'm with you hun, two of the last 3 christmasses me and DH have planned to reveal our pregnancy to family, all the stuff is still in the cupboard, 3rd year in. It's always such a conflicting time 😔.

@pangolin84 I see colour on that!!! Gentle congrats I hope the next few days you get more reassurance 😘 xxx

:O Congratulations, Pangolin! I definitely see it. Looks like mine from 10dpo.

pangolin84 · 29/11/2022 07:46

@LuckyMoonstone That is really tough. It can be an emotional time of year anyway and with all of that on top it must be so difficult. Try to take some time out for yourself if you can x

pangolin84 · 29/11/2022 07:43

Hi everyone, I’ve been quiet recently as this TWW has been driving me nuts and having a break from MN helps me stop thinking about it.
Managed to hold out until today (10 dpo) and got this on an internet cheapy. One of those that’s so faint I can’t even tell if it’s got colour. I’ll probably end up regretting testing early (again!).
Feel like I’m going mad.

Also New Years will be a tough time as I found out our second baby had passed away on 30th December, and delivered him on 2nd Jan, so I’ll be thinking about it even more than normal 😔

LuckyMoonstone · 28/11/2022 18:40

@Indianna2006 I think it has helped clear my mind, but now that I’m entering a new cycle where I know I’m going to be TTC i can feel the anxiety! Worrying about what if it doesn’t work, how long is it going to take this time etc. I’m due to ovulate around xmas day (maybe before if the thyroxine/other vitamins starts to help with ovulation), so I could potentially still be in the TWW in early Jan because of these stupidly long cycles lol. Awww yeah it is such a bittersweet time isn’t it. And Christmas reminds me of pregnancy because I had my son the week before xmas, so Christmas reminds me of being heavily pregnant, getting ready for xmas, going to midwife appointments in the snow, starting maternity leave etc. and then actually having my son with xmas trees in the hospital and that lovely fuzzy warm feeling.
No I don’t think we did anything different, we always use pre-seed. We did a mixture of normal sex and insemination on numerous days so I don’t know which one caught the egg!

FfayeN · 28/11/2022 16:05

@Indianna2006 I'm feeling ok thank you! Had a wobble yesterday but that's to be expected with the hormones too. I actually really think I had an infection last time, my stomach blew up and I was in quite a lot of pain. This time just mild discomfort and I've had barely any bleeding (so far!) so hopefully all going well 🤞🏼

Pretty sure we're done in the shops for Christmas shopping.....hallelujah!!! xx

Indianna2006 · 28/11/2022 15:20

@LuckyMoonstone do you think the break has helped at all? Are you starting back up after Xmas or now?

yes I understand that. I think having no children xmas is sad if your ttc. And having an only is sad. As you hoped for a sibling. Can’t say I didn’t think about the little one which would have been here with us now for this Xmas. Because I have a little. I think that’s normal. Even though I know we have a new life joining us in spring. Just wonder who’d they’d of been etc and how this xmas
would of been different.

Hoping you can fall again soon. Did you do anything different that cycle you fell! Like fertilily for anything? I know it didn’t work out and ended up being a bit confusing.
bit you did fall. Sperm met egg. And we can only take the small positives we have. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@FfayeN hope you’re feeling okay after your surgery? xx

LuckyMoonstone · 28/11/2022 15:01

@bunnykins123 hard agree, and trying to shop with someone else in tow makes it 100x worse 😂 solo shopping only!

@Indianna2006 I’m ok thank you for asking. Excited for Christmas but it’s also come with a sadness that I should have been celebrating with my two little boys, not just one. And I feel sooo desperate to be pregnant again especially after the break we’ve just had!

TheBirdintheCave · 28/11/2022 14:01

All of our Christmas shopping is being done online. I don't think there's anything I can buy from physical shops.

Indianna2006 · 28/11/2022 13:44

@LuckyMoonstone how are you doing lovely? xx

I’m frantically waiting for pay day to do more Christmas shopping 🤣

bunnykins123 · 28/11/2022 12:56

@LuckyMoonstone Boots is about as far as I can hack. Clothes shops are just evil 😂

@FfayeN enjoy your lunch today!

FfayeN · 28/11/2022 12:02

Me and DH are about to head out to do ours, though lunch out is sweetening the deal!
I'd love to get it all done in one go but I think there's very little chance of that 🤯 xx

OP posts:
LuckyMoonstone · 28/11/2022 11:10

I totally do all my shopping online as well, I can have a wander around Boots or card shops but that’s about it!

LuckyMoonstone · 28/11/2022 11:08

@bunnykins123 ooh thank you, I didn’t know there was a new group!

bunnykins123 · 28/11/2022 11:03

@mummatara @FfayeN weird, isn't it. I read at the time lots of women saying the same and knowing they were about to miscarry. I only had it with 1 miscarriage but that was the one with the strongest line 🤷‍♀️

@mummatara I'm all for online shopping vs going into shops. The crowds make me grumpy 😂 totally understand that. It is frustrating and you are completely justified in feeling that way. It just adds to the pain when things don't go as plan. Green tea and exercise 😂😂

Tagging @LuckyMoonstone again as I'm not sure she's seen this group and can see she's back 👋

mummatara · 27/11/2022 20:07

@FfayeN @bunnykins123 I remember vividly having two bad migraines about the time the first baby stopped growing so maybe there's something in it 🤔

@FfayeN im usually pretty good at going into a shop and saying so and so would like that or that but honestly I walked in and just thought god this stuff is vile 😂 probs didn't help that it was heaving with people and they were walking at a snails pace 🤦🏼‍♀️

@MrsCristianoX oh me too but I asked DH for his card and he was like oh your not going to the shops I have cash 🤦🏼‍♀️ I said fine I'll go to the bloody shops 😭

MrsCristianoX · 27/11/2022 19:39

@mummatara I bruise like a peach damn aspirin. Massive bruise on my foot atm. I refuse to shop..I'm an online order kinda gal

@FfayeN 💔

FfayeN · 27/11/2022 19:32

@bunnykins123 that's so strange because Friday I had THE WORST headache and almost felt flu like, pretty sure that would have been my day I actually MC too based on the measurements.
Had a rough day today, the rollercoaster of emotions is well on its way!!! Damn our hormones xx

@mummatara we are going to try and do most of ours tomorrow, I am dreading it!!! I also just want to get it done though and not have to worry about getting any thing else 🤣. You're right though, when you're trying to be conscious of money it's amazing the crap you start to notice in the shops 😂 xx

OP posts:
mummatara · 27/11/2022 19:27

@FfayeN @MrsCristianoX @TheBirdintheCave oh my dad those are some serious bruises 😳 thanks fully mine were never that bad !

@FfayeN lol how funny it was the same cycle day 🙊 I'm hoping she makes an appearance about the same time this time round 🤞🏼

@bunnykins123 I can't say I'm not frustrated because I am a bit but I'm not worried at all.I think if I get to the 6 week point and it's still positive I'll be well effed off 😂 but still 2.5 weeks to go for that

I've spent the whole day shopping I bloody hate shopping 😭 there is so much toot in the shops I thought I could bash the lot out in one day but apparently not 🙄

bunnykins123 · 27/11/2022 12:11

@lovenaps exactly! When you've been through so many miscarriages you have to question if there is more to it. With my 2nd recent one, I had the worst headache and fever - I then miscarried the next day. That felt like my body was fighting something. Anyhoo - I don't think we will know the full extent of immunology and miscarriages for a least a few more years whilst they trial pred etc. I so hope that when DD starts trying for a baby there is more known about reoccurring miscarriages!

@mummatara oh hun I'm sorry it's not dropped down! Literally your story matches mine. Mine went down by 1 in 2 weeks. I was gutted! Are you ok? I was really worried but I hope my story can reassure you that sometimes, your body can just take absolutely ages to shift the hormone even if nothing is wrong 💕

@FfayeN @TheBirdintheCave @MrsCristianoX those bruises! They used you as a pin cushion!!

FfayeN · 27/11/2022 08:38

@TheBirdintheCave OUCH!!!! Wow 😣 xx
