Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. Please feel free to leave this one if you don't feel the same but I feel so invested in your journeys and don't want to miss any news. Hoping this is ok, I don't think you can do DM as a group?
Hope you are all doing well and if there's anyone I've missed from the usual bunch feel free to add 😘😘😘

@mummatara deffo sounds like your going in the right direction lovely. Especially as your temps have dropped. Interestingly I ovulated within 6 days of my temp dropping. But then my hcg was more like early 100s when my temp dropped. So it perhaps may not be as far off as you imagine. That’s if your ready to go again of course 🙂

Indianna2006 · 23/10/2022 20:03

Deffo wasn’t @FfayeN intention or any of ours to offend anyone @lovenaps. We are all still active on the other group and giving support the same as we were before. Some of us ladies here have been talking for the best part of 8 months. I for one joined the group in April.
As the other group is for ttc after mmc. You will get new people adding in all the time and there has been in influx in the last 6 weeks/month and it became impossible to keep up with the new peoples stories and some original people still in there.
This was just so we can keep track of the people we’ve been talking to for nearly 3/4s of a year. That was all. Nothing more or nothing less.

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 19:54

@mummatara i would defo get scanned even for my own peace of mind. God it's tragic isn't it. Roll on December.... Christmas and bfps?! gonna start these vitamins again. I spent so much money on them. I'm at the what's the point stage. I'm due in a week so daft hormones making me crazy 😅

mummatara · 23/10/2022 19:36

@MrsCristianoX I know I was actually quite shocked because I was so so convinced I hadn't passed it. They have booked me in for a scan on 31st and have told me to keep it even if I get a negative test in their words it's best to get checked out 🤷🏼‍♀️ my temp has dropped really low now too so I think there can't be anything in there or the progesterone holding it in would be keeping my temp up

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 19:28

@lovenaps I'm so sorry I've been a mess this week. I got vitamins can't even muster the strength to take them. I didnt even realise you had a positive test..and we all know the worry doesn't end with a positive test (I so wish it did 😢) tentative congratulations my lovely and believe me you have done nothing to offend Xx

@mummatara that's an amazing drop! There's me thinking it's not over for you. But it looks like it might be 🙏

FfayeN · 23/10/2022 19:09

@lovenaps absolutely wasn't intentional I just had a few names spring to mind that I remembered, as I said I was overwhelmed on the other one and couldn't keep track, especially since my bfp. Sorry if you felt left out. You're welcome here of course, I just didn't add everyone on my '@' list as that would be the same as the other thread. How far along are you now? 😊 xx

mummatara · 23/10/2022 17:42

@MrsCristianoX it is isn't it I know he was sad about it but perhaps not as bad as last time. Doesn't help they don't feel all the symptoms 🤦🏼‍♀️ so Fridays level was down to 1088 it dropped 1000 in the week so I'm happy with that hopefully another week or so 🤞🏼 and we'll be clear. I'm interested to see if I ovulate this cycle as I didn't the cycle after the previous.

@lovenaps I know nobody means anything by it in here. It's so hard to remember everyone's names when your making a new thread and can't go back to look at previous and there were so many participants in the last one. Don't feel like it was intentional on anyones part we are here to try and support each other as best we can because it is scary and anxious like you say. Don't feel like you can't stay and chat with us ❤️

lovenaps · 23/10/2022 17:19

Not sure exactly what I did to get left out, unlikely I was forgotten as tested at pretty much the same time as two other people here.
I am sorry if something I said triggered anyone - I was on the last thread for a long time, having a positive test did not suddenly take all the worries away. It is just the beginning and everything is scary and every day feels anxious. Mumsnet was a good place for difficult times, I guess from now on I will somehow navigate them myself but an honest thanks for all the previous support.
Good luck to everyone ❤

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 15:47

@mummatara it's so frustrating! My first was 8 weeks and I saw a heartbeat (he didn't covid laws)) at 6 weeks. My second was earlier at 6 weeks and because he was with me at scans he felt it more.

How are your hcg levels now? Xx

mummatara · 23/10/2022 15:23

@FfayeN don't feel bad it's nice to have a little group esp as we all know each other so well by now ❤️

We were at a fam party last night and we were chatting to someone who had a baby 8 weeks before us and they knew about our first MC as we are quite close to the couple. He asked if we were trying again and I said about the second MC. DH was infuriating as he said oh it wasn't the same as the first which I know it wasn't but it was still a baby 🙄 he did say he didn't mean it like that when I mentioned it was a baby later and I know he didn't mean to hurt my feelings but I do feel like it's not the same this time for him as we never saw a HB etc but it's still just as gutting for me. They then mentioned they were ready to try again and I just know it's going to be all groovy for them 😒

FfayeN · 23/10/2022 14:49

@MrsCristianoX it's not nice to feel overwhelmed so I'm glad you can now have this space to have support and some giggles again 😘. Sending hugs xxx

@FfayeN @theblueflowers @Indianna2006 hope the pregnant graduates are keeping well 🥰

@FfayeN this group came at the right time for me. I think I was mid cry when I noticed it and honestly it cheered me right up 💕

FfayeN · 23/10/2022 14:36

@TheBirdintheCave yes I felt the same too...hence this group...there were too many drop ins on the other one I just couldn't keep up and it feels like a strange place.
@bunnykins123 exactly that! Glad you've now found us.
@curliegirlie I'm so sorry the goal posts have changed for you, it is a bloody worry with the bills etc and I don't know how we will cope.
Perhaps a serious conversation with DH will help you be on the same page.
@MrsCristianoX it's funny as I do the same with my DH. I do shut him out until I have processed everything in my own time first, he's gradually understand that's the way I work but we've had bumps along the way, MC does not make relationships easy!
@pangolin84 of course, welcome lovely 🥰. I had lost track of who was active on the last one before all the newbies 😳.
I feel like a bitch...but we have a good squad and I can keep up with a small number between work etc 😘

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 14:34

@pangolin84 I was going to tag you too..I remember we joined at a similar time but hadn't seen you post anything (says the woman who post nothing the past week) but yes please join us xx

@TheBirdintheCave yay!! 🥰

TheBirdintheCave · 23/10/2022 14:26

Woo! I found this thread! Haha I don't know why it doesn't show tags on my phone 🤷🏻‍♀️

pangolin84 · 23/10/2022 14:26

Hi guys can I sneak in here too…? I returned to the old thread after a one cycle break and didn’t know anybody 😱
Feeling in a much better place now - I’ve only got a few days left in my current job then I’m starting my new one next month. It’s a bit weird TTC during this transition but I’m going to turn 38 in a couple of weeks and that biological clock is ticking very loudly.

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 14:21

@bunnykins123 I hope @TheBirdintheCave can find us too

I personally found it too difficult to keep up with and I've been scrolling trying to find names I knew. But work has been MENTAL!

Where are you in your cycle? I'm sorry I totally missed a lot of the last thread xx

@curliegirlie my DH is similar. But it's not so much money as my health (excuse like) the only thing affecting my health is work stress and I'm trying to make him see that. And the cholesterol which was sitting at 6 but we have been eating rubbish so I'm not hugely surprised about that 🤷‍♀️ I feel a big talk coming on 🙈 communication has been hard these past couple of weeks. But he knows I'm upset I just can't do the talk now til I get the blood profile back. There's my rant for today too. We both have good jobs and some savings too but I really want a baby. I have 3 I should be content but the miscarriage opened up a door I thought had closed xx

mummatara · 23/10/2022 14:04

Sorry ladies I totally missed this thread 🤦🏼‍♀️ love the name though 😂 I was getting very lost in the other thread with who's who! I've had a major migraine this morning that I can't even blame in the one cider I drank last night should have made more of a drinking effort if i was going to have the headache anyway 🙄

bunnykins123 · 23/10/2022 14:03

Galssss! Thank you for the tag! I totally missed this - I use the app so don't get notifications so totally missed this (I did 👀 when @MrsCristianoX said there was another thread and found it!) I agree, I took a step back from the other group recently as I was getting confused with how quickly it was moving! I feel like we've been going through this process together for a while so it's nice to have something a bit more personal 💕

curliegirlie · 23/10/2022 13:51

Following as I want to keep up with developments with you guys. Sorry, whinge-fest incoming...

I just feel so frustrated with the entire sorry situation. I was flabbergasted with a shock BFP in March (I'd been a bit sloppy with pill taking in the few weeks before, but wasn't particularly worried as previously TTC had taken 16 and 12 months). We were both shocked but getting our head around the situation when 4 days later my period arrived and HCG levels were confirmed as constant with MC at the EPU the following week. Afterwards we then said we'd TTC properly but DH's feet have become increasingly colder. When thinking how it would be doable, I was really glad that I'd just got a promotion (and thus a bit more money), but now it looks it will be swallowed up by energy bills etc., and is less of an argument for TTC than it was a few months back. It also feels nuts that we're now so worried about money when between us we earn just over £100k and we have £23k in savings, but our current mortgage rate ends next year, so....I just don't feel I have anything to argue against all the uncertainty and it feels so unfair, when in a parallel universe I'd be preparing for another baby right now, packing my hospital bag etc and now it all feels like as much of an impossible dream as ever.

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 10:28

@TheBirdintheCave YES to your message on the new posters with a positive test. I had to stop looking at the original thread because it wasn't doing my emotions any good. Am truly happy for everyone else though 🥰 and would be gutted if you left to a pregnancy board ❤️

FfayeN · 22/10/2022 12:51

@theblueflowers for now 😂. Thanks ladies x

OP posts:
MrsCristianoX · 22/10/2022 11:20

@FfayeN fab!! Hope that relaxes you today xx

theblueflowers · 22/10/2022 09:01

@FfayeN that's great news! A small relief I bet.

FfayeN · 22/10/2022 08:59

@theblueflowers thank you! I didn't even think until last night. I'm finding the progesterone really rough actually but sticking with it incase it will help. I did a CB digital this morning and it's coming up 3+ weeks so levels seem top end of normal. It's reassured me a little! xx
