Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. Please feel free to leave this one if you don't feel the same but I feel so invested in your journeys and don't want to miss any news. Hoping this is ok, I don't think you can do DM as a group?
Hope you are all doing well and if there's anyone I've missed from the usual bunch feel free to add 😘😘😘

@bunnykins123 luckily you had mentioned it! What's worse is sometimes the wax that sits on top of the toilet water 🫣. Honestly it's not pleasant isn't it!! x

@FfayeN did your first poo on them freak you out? I was terrified when I saw the white mess - nobody prepares you for that 😳

FfayeN · 25/10/2022 17:54

@MrsCristianoX I'm not gonna lie. Its bloody grim. So after 'fart-gate' I was going front ways, I can't tell you the mess it makes, no chance of hubby getting close 😳, then it caused a bit of spotting so I've been going back to the back 🤣. I permanently have a greasy bottom...it's not nice at all!! Although more chance of actually getting to DTD at some stage if I can stay awake passed 8pm ever 😂😂😂.

@FfayeN 🤣🤣 oh how true!! How are the 'suppositories' going? Xx

FfayeN · 25/10/2022 17:28

@MrsCristianoX I think we all count as slightly old and slight bitter 😂😂😂

OP posts:
MrsCristianoX · 25/10/2022 17:18

@TheBirdintheCave nope you can't have that title.

Im more old and bitter 😕

You can have covid though..slightly old, slightly bitter and covid 🥲

bunnykins123 · 25/10/2022 16:28

@Indianna2006 that's really helpful to know. But also a bit worrying!! I literally time our dtd to a positive opk which makes me think I am giving us terrible odds waiting for this 😂

@calimc83 wow that's flown past! Can you feel the wee baba? It must feel so real now!

@TheBirdintheCave awh hun. I'm sorry, it's fecking hard when someone announces. I do believe in life, we are all given 'journeys'. Some are easy, some are hard. For me fertility has been a hard one. And maybe for someone else, they will have a hard journey in an area that I have had easy. Maybe a bit woo but it makes me feel a bit better about myself anyway 🙃 keep in touch about ivf - we are headed there too...

FfayeN · 25/10/2022 16:27

@TheBirdintheCave it's hard because there's so many different type of fertility issue and none is worse than another.
My best friend tried for 3 years and nothing! No issues identified just could not get pregnant, then all of a sudden it happened as they were going for IVF. After that one another 18 months of trying before falling with her second.
I've gotten pregnant pretty easy each time but had 3 losses in that same period. On my 4th now but not optimistic. We've discussed it at length and both have taken its toll on each of us in equal measure 😔. It's hard not to compare but getting pregnant easily doesn't mean a journey is less painful or traumatic. Hopefully someone will get back to you with some answers soon, in the meantime keep plugging away for that one swimmer to get to where it needs to be 🤞🏼 xx

@FfayeN Yeah my sister in law is really scared after last time :( But like, even if it doesn't work out this time give it another two months and they'll be pregnant again 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry, I'm just old and bitter.

FfayeN · 25/10/2022 16:17

@TheBirdintheCave that's also still very early days, I hope all goes well for them but I'm sure they're filled with anxiety behind closed doors so I imagine it isn't easy. I get your struggles though, life can be really cruel xx

FfayeN · 25/10/2022 16:15

@TheBirdintheCave you will get there. Not sure where you are in the country but Access Fertility is a good starter, they recommend clinics and have some good payment options. We have heard great things and had friends of ours go through Bourn Hall who offer Access too. They were really good at getting back to us. xxx

TheBirdintheCave · 25/10/2022 16:12

@FfayeN She's seven weeks and they've just had an early scan and things are going correctly so far.

We keep trying to book in tests/get a quote for IVF but no one will call my husband back 😂 It's so strange. I'm actually trying to give people money and no one seems to want to take it 🤷🏻‍♀️

FfayeN · 25/10/2022 15:49

@TheBirdintheCave oh lovely, it's so hard so you're right to feel frustrated. Your SIL isn't out of the woods yet, that sounds awful but I've tried to be less jealous of others having 'easy' journies because sometimes they end too. How far along is she? Did you have the extra tests yet to see if anythin has changed since your last ones? xx

Well great, not only are we all sick in this house but to cap it all off my sister in law is pregnant again. I feel stupid for being so upset as they don't have any kids and had a MMC at the same time as me but it just happens so GOD DAMN easily for them. It's not fair. I feel like everyone needs to suffer at least six months of it not working before they get pregnant. I hate that for it to work for us again I will likely have to spend thousands of pounds and all because I chose the wrong husband 😭

calimc83 · 25/10/2022 13:00

@bunnykins123 @FfayeN aww thanks girls! Just plodding along...20 week scan next week! Feel like it's taken forever to come around 🙈..hope u are both ok?! X

mummatara · 25/10/2022 11:38

@Indianna2006 ah fab more good stories 💪🏼 I think the 1000 drop last week has really given me a mood boost on it all

Indianna2006 · 25/10/2022 10:10

@mummatara agreed mine went out quite quickly. I thought it be ages. And within 5 days it was line negative and I then ovulated the day it was almost negative and a squinter which was a bit of a suprise.

@pangolin84 I have temped for lots of months previously. I have had before where tested opk in morning. Was negative. Went for a scan. An lady confirmed is ovulated recently as was free fluid in my pelvis an all other follicles were smaller. An I thought nah think she’s got that wrong. Went home did an opk and it was full on positive. An she was right cos that was the egg I fell with DD and got a positive 11 days later. So technically my egg had popped before my opk even went positive or at very similiar time. So anything goes sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀️

mummatara · 25/10/2022 10:04

@TheBirdintheCave oooh really excellent gives me a bit of hope then 🙊

TheBirdintheCave · 25/10/2022 09:57

@mummatara Hopefully it drops significantly for you soon. With my MMC it was still very positive one day and three days later it was totally negative. I remember being really surprised.

mummatara · 25/10/2022 09:48

@FfayeN 😂 that's ok lovely I know it's hard to remember everything that's happening I'm rubbish at it. Yes still temping so at least I'll know if it happens. Test was still positive this morning it would have been a bit of a stretch to be negative from Friday I think but you never know 🙊 I'll leave it until the weekend now 🤞🏼

FfayeN · 25/10/2022 08:14

@mummatara now you've said that I have realised I had totally got you confused with someone else! I'm so sorry I do remember now. Are you temping? Then you'd know for sure about ovulation, I hope it comes soon for you 🥰 xx

OP posts:
bunnykins123 · 25/10/2022 07:56

@TheBirdintheCave oh nooo! Covid is no fun at all. Hope he gets better soon 🤞

@calimc83 yaaay! How are you doing lady?

mummatara · 25/10/2022 07:01

@MrsCristianoX 😂 I bet! Oh well you get your Saturdays back 🥳

@TheBirdintheCave oh no my super sympathies I've had it 3 times it sucks. Hope he feels better soon

@FfayeN not any DPO yet I'm testing back to negative after the MC. There's not that much to go was 1088 on Friday. No ovulation has happened yet but I am only 3 weeks since I started bleeding so it might happen it might not the hcg might still be a bit high to ovulate

FfayeN · 25/10/2022 06:11

@MrsCristianoX I think you win the award for earliest PT ever...like 6 weeks early POAS 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Brilliant! I don't blame you for refusing the Saturdays now, so much for looking after your staff 🙄. A better solution would be to make the opening times bigger so everyone can read when you're closed!
@mummatara good luck if you decide to test this morning! How many dpo will you be?
@pangolin84 I have read you ovulate from the first rise, not necessarily the peak? But I would be sceptical of it being that quick too! I have sometimes manually changed FF.
@calimc83 hey lady, of course you're welcome here xx
@TheBirdintheCave oh no! Hopefully you can avoid it, we've al had it in my house apart from DH! Lucky sod xx

OP posts:
MrsCristianoX · 24/10/2022 22:56

@TheBirdintheCave my DH has never caught it and I've had it twice🤷‍♀️ he must have a superb immune system. It's hateful hope you and your DC don't catch it 🤢 Xx
