@monsteramunch i get a few high days but only one peak day so I always assume ov happens then. Ties in with the crampy pain on one side 😊

Can I ask (as I always have trouble pinpointing ovulation days as I tend to get blazing positive for 2-3 days (3 this time), did you take your ovulation day as the day following your first positive OPK?

Oh and to whomever asked about what days we dtd before falling pregnant. This cycle it was:

-5, -4, -3, -2, 0 and +1

I remember being cross that we missed -1 but it didn't matter in the end :)

@bunnykins123 Our names are Hero (classical Greek girl's name and a Shakespeare character from Much Ado about Nothing, my husband's favourite play) and Edmond (nn Ned) who was my Irish (despite the French spelling of his name!) great granddad. He died of a broken heart shortly after my great nanna died, leaving my nanna (aged six) and her brothers as orphans 😢

Names are one of my autistic specialities but, for me, they come with lots of rules (again probably because I'm autistic lol). I can only choose names with strong histories, using original gender assignments, spellings, no diminutives and correct pronunciations. They also can't be in the top 100 but have to be familiar to the British ear. It makes for a very short list! 😂

@Indianna2006 god I feel like even thinking about names is a jinx atm but I like séan and Rónán for a boy, and Saoirse and Isla for a girl xx

I also like Bonnie but DH doesn’t like it 🙄 he likes Hallie. I’m not so sure 🤣

My DD keep saying it’s baby sister Rosie. And everyone is like it’s cuuuute. But just can’t see it as a Rosie 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

I have a niece called Delilah! She’s the sweetest thing and such a lovely name 🥰
This cycle we DTD O-5, -3 and -1. Going again on O day was completely out of the question 😂 We’re not spring chickens and it always feels like we run out of steam just as it’s getting to the critical time nearer ovulation.
Here’s this evening’s cheapy - very similar to yesterday. Just glad it’s still there at the moment.

@FfayeN DH just assumed we would use Roberta for a girl and I was like we can't that's DS girls name he thought I was bonkers 😂 tbh I might still use Delilah I do really love it and not sure I'm ready to not have it on my list we didn't even discuss names for the third. I really really struggled with a boy name for our DS and in the end he has the same name as daddy with a different nickname so I'm not shouting at the wrong one 😂 oh hun I bet that is hard ❤️ do you think you would use any from your lists for future ones?

@MrsCristianoX I agree, if it's not dark yet then you can probably afford to wait a day or so. I'm absolutely not dtd tonight even though I had a bit of EWCM. I haven't tested today either so I'll see what's happening tomorrow onwards. Your attire sounds divine - im past whipping out the lacy numbers now!

@FfayeN thanks for sharing that. Like you say, I think I've nailed those dates in the past so must be egg quality 🤦‍♀️ I think it'll be only a few attempts this month, I'm so past it now!

@mummatara crazy that you got a bfp at -5! But also really reassuring. With my 1st 2 early miscarriages, they were both 1 attempt on -2 🤷‍♀️ they are lovely names! We have a few delilias at our nursery.

@mummatara poor wee man (and also poor you) 😢 there is so much going around at the minute. I had a consult on Monday with someone with Noravirus who was actually dry heaving and sweating at the counter. I took a giant step back 🙈 I actually hate being sick more than I hate covid. Really professional like🙄

The month I actually got pregnant I DTD 5 days before I ovulated. I had actually written that month off because the pressure was getting to DH. The positive was a massive shock

@MrsCristianoX he had a temp of 38.2 and he was coughing so much he was sick all over his cot I brought him into bed with me and I just couldn't drop off I kept panicking he would choke on his sick or fall out the bed 🤦🏼‍♀️ and then he would wake up and cry and cough a bit more 😩 lol why 😂 honestly they make us despair sometimes 🙄

@bunnykins123 our son was going to be Roberta if he was a girl and then we were toying with names with the second pregnancy and quite liked Delilah for a girl. I liked cooper for a boy by DH wasn't all that keen he's kept giving me random footballer names 🙄 I can't remember with DS but I was doing opk so it would have been every other day with a couple of days one after the other around O, second was once 5 days before O and third we dtd O-5, -3-2-1

@bunnykins123 OPK is on the rise. Still not that high. A little EWCM today. If I DTD now I'll need a repeat on Friday. I don't really know if I should put him off..well let's face it my current attire should do the trick 😂 just not feeling it at all
