Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. Please feel free to leave this one if you don't feel the same but I feel so invested in your journeys and don't want to miss any news. Hoping this is ok, I don't think you can do DM as a group?
Hope you are all doing well and if there's anyone I've missed from the usual bunch feel free to add 😘😘😘

@MrsCristianoX I'm having such an arse time at work, I'm getting the brunt of mums crappy mood as she's struggling a lot and seems content to take it out on me, I can't be bothered with Christmas which is awful because I love Christmas but I'm dreading it and wish it wasn't happening, I've been trying to sort out my finances and although I can see a tiny dot of light everytime I look at the figure I'm like 😭 and DH although he is wonderful works a lot of hours so I'm effectively working full time with a 2 year old and trying to keep the house together and do everything by myself with the occasional help here and there. Im finding it hard to plaster a happy smile on my face everyday when I just want to tell everyone to fook off. Doesn't help I'm ill and my first due date is approaching on the 16th. Oh and I'd love to punch a few people at work too 😂

@monsteramunch surprisingly my TTC is about the only thing I don't feel like is slipping probably because I know I'm just waiting for AF at this point and nothing will happen until she does. Tests are hard as much as you want to know you equally don't want to know too ❤️

Oh @mummatara I feel the same which I know doesn't help you but just want you to know you're not the only one.

I'm so preoccupied with it and feel very panicky a lot of the time as we are TTC #1 and I'm 35 so I feel like I don't have ages to wait.

Having some tests next month which I'm looking forward to in one way but also terrified of as I'm not sure how I'll cope with bad news.

So I'm a Debbie Downer here too Flowers

@mummatara yep that's why I'm 100% done with December. I haven't anything bought for Christmas, haven't a decoration up and can't even be bothered to DTD. I feel for you lovely

Anyone else feel like you just can't cope with all the plates you are spinning at once? I feel like I'm about to have a total breakdown as every single one is just crashing around me. I'm a total people pleaser and everything seems to just be going wrong with everything atm I can't do anything right but I'm being pulled in so many directions it's no wonder really. Sorry to be a Debbie downer I just don't know what to do with myself

@MrsCristianoX oh nooo 😢 they are really hard to get in! 30mins was probably enough time anyway for the spermies to get where they needed to so I wouldn't worry too much!

@calimc83 I feel ok, just very sore boobs and a tiny bit of nausea (but not enough to be reassuring). Scan is on the 20th at 9.30 :)

@bunnykins123 Digi is meant to be for Monday at 6 weeks but I will probably cave and do it tomorrow or Sunday 😂 Seems to be going ok fingers crossed! I'm still terrified haha (and very concerned that I don't have sickness yet as I did with my son at this stage). Scan is on the 20th at 8+1. 'Only' 18 days to go!

@MrsCristianoX Like Bunnykins I used to keep a finger holding it against the cervix as I pulled the tail. If I felt it had slipped down at all I just then poked it back up until I was happy with where it was.

@TheBirdintheCave when do you think you'll do the digi? Sounds like all is going really well! Do you have a scan booked?

@MrsCristianoX did you use both hands? I keep one finger holding the side when I tug it - it doesn't completely stop it from dropping but seems to help. I'm absolutely no pro with it though, so one of the others can give some tips 🤞

@bunnykins123 literally no idea. I think I may need to watch the video again 😂..pushed it in then pulled the string bit and am pretty sure it's stuck halfway. But can't pull it out coz all the stuff might come out. Ugh. OPKs are still not high so I'll count this as a practice run. Did u try yours again? Xx

@TheBirdintheCave I love those names! I know what you mean about traditional but unusual names. I named DD a fairly common name but spelt differently. It's now really common and one of my besties has named her daughter it. I love the name Isabella or Darcey for a girl (I know Darcey is totally marmite but I love it - DH hates it so it'll never happen!) For a boy it would be Thomas after DH father. I also love Tadgh as DH is half Irish but he hates it which is really annoying!

@monsteramunch OPKs have never worked for me. I just go by CM and call the day I get pains as ovulation day :) I was also temping that month but my chart was all over the place.

@pangolin84 Yay!!! How exciting!!
@monsteramunch it may be worth temping for a cycle so you can pinpoint your ovulation around the peaks, that way you'll have a better idea. I have a rise over a day sometimes, FF shows ovulation after the day after the 'peak', not the initial rise as that's what I'd read before too. xx
