I have had trigger shot yesterday for first time

So it's day 2 most of today I'm getting a weird feeling in my left ovary hard to explain like it's going to pop , could this mean I have ovulated today ,iv already had intercourse today so going to wait untill tomorrow untill hubby builds up again just to try for the best chance I have only one mature 20mm folicle does any one have any experience, I'd really love to hear your stories xxxxxx

Hey I'm Gona ask my nurse and doctor this question I'm actually booked in for a tattoo it was a gift in 2 weeks would the medication affect it ? I'm trying to Google here all different things things IL maybe have to wait untill Monday scan day I didn't even think xxxxxxxxx

Alexis I'm on 37.5 this time around , I seem to be overally sensitive or not at all ,my body is a mystery, but I'm usually 100% with it I was on for I'd say over a year took the break and this time round I'm litterly struggling with it but another 5 days hopefully, hopefully they can do something to give you a wee push get them folicials up there ❤️🙏 melpainter I'd love to try something I think called clomoid but I don't no and haven't really asked as doctor seems to think this treatment is right for me as I have pcos , awhh no you have done the right thing definitely, awh bless you honestly, yes I always try and go by by body's instinct I actually asked my nurse this time around to put me up to 37.5 on the gonal as they wanted to keep me on 25 but seems it's working for me this time round would just love to use that trigger this month you no ❤️ xxxxxxxxxx

Hi ladies @Dachshund1 really pleased for you going back into the meds you have been on gonal f for quite a few cycles would you consider trying a different follicle stimulant? Would your clinic let you?
@Alexis7890 be good if they let you increase the dose to give those follys a little nudge
As you both know I had very little faith in my clinic due to their rubbish protocols and inefficient scans well went yesterday as u know and wasn’t given any detailed info and it played in my mind most of the day so I booked a scan elsewhere and they were far more efficient and detailed explained about the second sac being a vanishing twin and the main sac had a fetal pole and a heartbeat around 103bpm I cried like a baby I struggled to stop crying I was so relieved and knew that my clinic didn’t do a proper scan so I called them and cancelled next weeks scan and said please just discharge me now I will have another scan next week with another clinic. I’m a big advocate for trusting your instincts so all I can see is if your in doubt challenge your clinics xxx

@Dachshund1 thats sounding promising! What dose are you on? I had another scan this morning and not much has grown since Monday so going back again Friday. Waiting for a phone call to confirm what dose to do today and tomorrow

Hey just reading your posts now melpainter hopefully this week goes as quick as possible for you rest and take it easy 🙏❤️ ❤️ Alexis just had my first scan been on gonal f 6 days now one ovary no folicials can be seen the other side one 8mm and cluster of other wee folicles so I'm on gonal f untill Monday another 5 days feeling it since my break from gonal f meds this is first time starting back I'm hoping wee folicle on Monday so can trigger xxxxxx

@Melpainter i am hoping we might be able to trigger tomorrow but otherwise by Friday.

is it next Tuesday you’ll go back? They must have hope for you and it is very early! Got it all crossed for you that you get good news next week and this weeks goes quickly!xxx

had scan im measuring as 6 weeks no heartbeat detected told me to come back in a week, but also said there were two sacs present one looks on track but the other is very small so may not come of anything, I’m pretty sure I hen I had 6 week scan for my dd there was a heartbeat so got to wait a whole loooong week to see if there is anything progressing xxx waiting is up there with torture xxx

Had my scan this morning….still 2 follicles 1 13mm and 1 14mm so can’t trigger yet. Going back on Wednesday to see how they are getting on. Lining is over 7mm so that’s looking good but just need one of these follicles to get to 18mm

Yes that’s a good point they made have told you to reduce because risk of over stim? That’s an interesting one but you’d think they would have said something to the like! Still if it was me (cause I’m super impatient and like control) I’d do 75 till Monday and say oops I forgot I was supposed to reduce blah blah
with all my injections I topped up with clomid and this last protocol was just supposed to be letrazole and I topped up with clomid too seemed to get things moving quicker but I knew I wouldn’t overstim cause there was only a few follicles that had shown possible dominance so I knew one of them if not two would ovulate.

im ok thank you for asking, scan was too early wed to see a heartbeat but did see a little sac and yolk sac next scan is Tuesday still in the danger zone and praying everyday little one stays put every time I go to the toilet I’m scared I’ll see blood

really hoping you get to be in the tww this next week with positive news! xxx

I'm actually not Shure then , I actually broke the protocol myself before over stimed and then I wasn't allowed to trigger , I'm actually not sure but 12mm is good as far as I no I was told once they grow to 10mm they can grow naturaly very quickly with out even the meds , definitely let me no how us no how Monday goes fingers crossed 🙏❤️ melpainter how are you getting on aswell xxxxxxx

@Melpainter i have enough in the pen to stay at 75 until Monday but not higher. I did wonder about taking some letrozole as well as I have some pills left. It just doesn’t make sense to me that since Tuesday they have grown 2mm…..and now they want to reduce it?! How are you getting on?xxx

Well you know me I never followed their protocol I didn’t trust them so if it was me I’d double the dose abs have sex over the weekend just in case you ovulate but that’s just me x

I have been on 75 for 10 days. I saw the scan myself as she did it and there is definitely only 2 follicles around 12mm so reduce to 50 and go back Monday xxx

Reduce the dose ? Are you sure there isn't more folicials that they have seen and not told you about they only usually reduce a dose I think if they don't want any more catching up so I think maybe the 2 folicles u have they could be thinking they are gona grow the 2mm per day over the weekend ?? Or 3 mm how much dose are you on I'm on 37.5 untill wed it's alot for me but the nurse let me choose between 25 or 37.5 xxxxxxxxxx

had another scan this morning, not much growth yet still only one at 12 and one at 11mm so going back Monday. I don’t get why they said to reduce the dose over the weekend though?! I thought increase it as they aren’t growing!!xxx

Never Gona believe this girls I got my script IV just injected doctors giving me free couple more cycles and he's putting my name on waiting list for IVF Gona take time but hopes I get preg in mean time I can't even believe this one free IVF only tho but can be 2 years but can continue my treatment and if I want during the IVF I can freeze my eggs if they have any extra omgod xxxxxxxxxx

Aw no that’s awful the wait is so long in your area! I asked our doctor about it and he said there is no delay here to start ivf once the ccg approves the funding for it. I have no idea if you can have it done privately while waiting on the nhs xxx

Don't do it anymore so IL have to move clinics :( so I'm Gona do one or 2 more rounds of gonal then if if wer not blessed gona have to put my name down for IVF ,if they allow me all a waiting game ! Can u go on the NHS IVF waiting list and also go private somewer else and pay for IVF in the meantime ?? I no it's a long journeyxxxxx

Sorry clicked post with out finishing my post sorry , I no we need to be patient but it's been years and wer trying everything and I do think maybe it's time for a knew direction the gonal f and trigger without a break for over a year did take it's tole on me and my body and I do think could b reason my period disappeared there for them few months xxxxxxxx god it's such a hard journey isn't it xxxxxxxx
