I have had trigger shot yesterday for first time

My head is all over the place AF is not like normal sorry for TMI but I need to share and get advice I’ve been getting really dark discharge basically black I’ve got mild aching but feel warm my temp is 37.4 I’m 16dpo now I should be having red blood bleeding by now I just pos a cheapie Amazon one and I’m sure I see a vvvv faint line the discharge is sort of clearing up now ….. what do you girls think? xxx

AF arrived basically bang on midnight and the start of 2023 and I’ve said to my husband this will be the year of the baby to try to manifest it!! @Melpainter have you got all the meds to start again? I have t go Tuesday to get the meds and have a scan to check there are no cysts so I’m really hoping that the scan will be clear and I’ll be good to go!!xxx

14dpo tests are negative and I’ve got what seems to be the start of AF which I’m happy about cause as soon as it starts heavy flow I can start meds again and get the ball rolling again

@Melpainter i am going to test again tomorrow as that will be day 14 so should be 100% for whatever result comes up? Then wait for AF which I assume will be a few days as I’ve been on progesterone every day so when I get the final negative tomorrow then I can stop it. You are still in with a chance!!xxx

I’m 11dpo today I bought a bag of one step tests from Amazon for less than £10 and they are 10mlu but still no positive on those I see evap lines and wonder if I’ve dipped the test to far in so thats why the evap line show up, I knew by now with my DD, It showed positive in first response and clearblue digital, I’ve read that only 50% of women get early results and the other 50% find out on of before when their AF is due but I’m pretty certain it would show up on a low mlu test at this stage.

@Melpainter aww no sorry that’s rubbish for you, when’s your ‘official’ test day? Hopefully you were just too early and will get a positive!! I will test again Friday that is 2 weeks after ovulation. So new cycle will likely start next week! Do you know when yours will be?xxx

I’ve tested today on first response and it was also negative…here goes again. Xxx

Gave into temptation and did an early test today, not even a hint of a line so I think this cycle is out and next should start next week. Hope you’ve both had a great Christmas!xxx

I woke up again this morning with very noticeable cramping not just a niggle this time it’s radiating down to the tops of my thighs like mild contractions I really hope this is implantation I never felt implantation like this with my daughter just logged that I had niggles.

ovulation was last Friday so a week, I think it worries me more as it is always the right hand side twinging in the same place. Ooh exciting for you!! Hopefully you get your positive and those are good cramps!! Have you got much planned over Christmas?xx

Yay Xmas eve eve 🥳 exciting times I went good shopping in Asda today took just over two hours the queues were crazy but everyone was in good spirits and started a mass photo was very funny
i havnt had twinges from a cyst but with my first pregnancy I’ve noted that I had twinges day 9 11 and 12 dpo… how many dpo are you now? My trigger is negative on the digital now, the other night I had intense cramps and tonight again I’ve had twinges today and a few yesterday 🤞🤞🤞🤞🎄🎄🎄

Hey how are you both? It’s Christmas Eve Eve!! I don’t know if it’s related to the tww but since Wednesday the bottom right side of my tummy keeps getting all these twinges like when I sit down, jump, go for a wee etc, trying to not panic myself that’s it’s going to be a cyst that will stop any further treatment etc! I took ovitrelle 250 last month and it’s stayed in my system for up to 11 days counting the day of trigger. We need assistance too as I don’t ovulate I just turn all my developed follicles into cysts and my lining just gets bigger and bigger and apparently that’s a risk of cancer so the specialist said we’d need to carry on with some form of fertility drug after our journey so I continue to have regular bleeds (no dr has ever said that to us before) I’ve got one more day of work left I’m looking forward to some time off but work seems to be a good distraction and kills time I fear time will slow right down after tomorrow lol
@Dachshund1 i hope you enjoy your Xmas and new year and feel raring to go again after that if it doesn’t work for us this time we will all be doing it together next time xxxx

@Melpainter hopefully this will be your month! It’s a long hard journey isn’t it. Unfortunately without fertility treatment we would never be able to have a baby so have to keep going until it happens! I have finished all of my shopping and counting down to when I finish today at 1:30! I am going to try to wait until 30/12 to test but we’ll see if I get there! I used ovitrelle to trigger, no idea what it would say on a test! Are you going to test all the way through now?

Hopefully the injections will be it for you now, we’ve tried for two years but this is the first time we have used injections and this month is the first month iv had a large follicle to boost ovulation last month it was 14mm on the Friday and then I continued taking clomid til Monday and took trigger on Tuesday but I didn’t get pregnant I feel that was because maybe the egg wasn’t developed so we moved to care fertility this month and I’m hopeful this round has worked although i triggered on day 19 hopefully that’s not too late and the egg will be good. The months before that I never ovulated on stims and had to take progesterone to bleed
I finish work on Thursday feeling really festive this year still have some Xmas shopping to do how about you? What day will you do a test? I buckled and got cheap multi pack from Amazon to test the trigger out of me.. I saw I had a digital and was curious how many weeks a trigger would come out at and it was 1-2 weeks I took gonassi 5000 what was your trigger xxx

@Melpainter the weekend was good thanks, and only 1 more day of work for me, are you having much time off for Christmas?do you normally feel ovulation? Lots of people including me never feel anything! Still have a great chance!! Take all the premonitions you can get, I joked with my husband about having twins I would love it he would not haha. Umm that’s a bit complicated, in a way since October 2021 after we got married but I never had any natural cycles so knew it wasn’t going to happen naturally but still had that glimmer of hope for a miracle so have been with the fertility clinic since feb when we had all the tests etc and done a few rounds of letrozole which just didn’t work for me. How about you?xx

Hey I know time is sloooow, how was your weekend? I was suppose to ovulate yesterday it I didn’t feel anything I felt more on Saturday but we didn’t manage to dtd until early hours Sunday so I’m hoping the impril supplements has doubled the swimmers
I also had a dream that I had a scan and they said I had two healthy sacs omg is that a premonition lol

I will do the same as you and not touch a test until the 1st cause last month when I started writing on here I was driving myself crazy, I did the injection and that was it I put everything away packed up the ov kits, stored away the sharps bins and felt like a weight off my shoulders cause your right it is actually quite stressful it’s only until your done that you realise the toll it takes on your every day.

Ooh im glad they said to trigger and not just wait for your body to do it. Have you got to take anything else or is that it for you? That’s exciting and you’ve got a busy weekend now haha!! I could easily become obsessive so for me I won’t do any tests until 30/12 are you going to test? No point telling them now, hopefully you won’t need to do the injections again for another cycle!! Also nice we can enjoy Christmas without having to inject and can try to relax and just enjoy Christmas and all the food and time off!xxx

also when I ovulated last month after the trigger I felt niggling, pulling sort of pressure it didn’t last long at all about 10 mins and then it was over x

@Alexis7890 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 I have just triggered, the clinic called me this afternoon and said the dr suggests that i do actually trigger and have lots of sex! I used gonassi 5000 this month it stung going in but small price to pay for actual ovulation and to be in for a chance this month 🤞
are you going to test the trigger shot out of your system? I did last month and it stayed for 8 days the nurse said don’t test until 1/01/23 and then call them on 3rd with an update they did say that if I do get pregnant they do regular scans up to 7 weeks before discharging back to GP at no additional cost I thought this was good. They still don’t know I upped my dose but I know if I hadn’t I wouldn’t be in for a chance this month cause also the clinic closes over Xmas.
we had our works do last Friday it was just a civilised dinner gone are the years where I’d be pulling an all nighter lol xxx
