@HalWin2221 periods due Friday so hopefully waiting till after that doesn’t show! Who knows if I’ll make it to then🤣

HalWin2221 · 23/10/2022 16:32

@ChloeN when are you going to test? 🤞🏽

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 15:35

@FfayeN thanks lovely, if this cycle isn’t successful I’m going to try it I think! Xxx

FfayeN · 23/10/2022 15:24

@ChloeN I can't remember what the book recommended but I take 400mcg a day x

@FfayeN is it quite a large dose of COQ10 you take?? Like a few tablets at once? Xx

FfayeN · 23/10/2022 14:47

@Aprilsunnyday I know before it got too full so no one was able to add a post so it all got lost! I am confident it was the progesterone as I have had anything else since, just a constant back ache!
@HJA87 yes I have implemented a few bits. I haven't worried about the micro plastic stuff as I still want to enjoy life 🤣.
I take CoQ10, I was taking myo-inositol too but then read it doesn't combine well with low AMH which I have. There's some good tips in there, but I've taken it with a pinch of salt xx

@Aprilsunnyday if you find anyway of distracting yourself let me know lol, I need some distraction too🤣

TheBirdintheCave · 23/10/2022 14:23

@MrsCristianoX OH! I will look for that :)

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 13:53

@TheBirdintheCave 'tactical seduction and POAS addicts' it's really just a sister thread to this so we don't lose track of each other..see if you can find it and tag anyone forgotten xx

TheBirdintheCave · 23/10/2022 13:37

@MrsCristianoX I am clearly going mad as this is the latest thread I can find 😂

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 13:04

@TheBirdintheCave yes lovely you've been tagged xx

Aprilsunnyday · 23/10/2022 13:02

@FfayeN Thank you for creating the new thread, so good and organised of you even in early pregnancy:) Hope you are feeling so very settled after the small little scare you had?
@bunnykins123, thank you for being so kind and the affirmations to me too. I think perimenopause is something that can be managed too for pregnancy. It's just difficult not impossible :)

I had a bit of a chat with my older friends, about trying to get pregnant, (for first one) their advice to me was to not work too hard at the getting pregnant, because it can be counter productive and stressful. Probably everyone knows it though, don't we? 😎... I find it hard to have good distractions sometimes, and my brain is conditioned to think about ttc things naturally. Does anyone have good advice on what helpful and healthy distractions they managed to have? 🤗x

TheBirdintheCave · 23/10/2022 13:00

@MrsCristianoX Is there another thread? 🤔

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 11:08

@Mariabombia omg that puts me off trying new vitamins🤣🤣

@TheBirdintheCave yeah lol I find it a bit annoying when they post one that’s not even faint, I’d rather them just say yay I’m pregnant🤣🤣

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 10:37

@curliegirlie I'm so sorry..literally everyone is worried about money and mortgage rates. I mean you aren't alone here. I hope you get through this and I'll be thinking of you. My wee niece is due the same month as I would have been and it hurts. Xx (

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 10:30

@TheBirdintheCave YES..I answered your question properly in another thread @FfayeN set up for us xx

curliegirlie · 23/10/2022 10:24

@bunnykins123 to answer the question you asked waaaay downthread. I'm not sure DH has given it much thought. I mumbled something like "I know", when he said, by the by, "I think 3 would be too much work", just as I was taking coffee cups out of his office or something, a couple of months ago (when the Ukrainian guests had arrived and we felt a bit overwhelmed). But I didn't say I'd organised new contraceptives or anything, although I've stopped temping, which maybe he equates with stopping TTC....I NEED to have the proper conversation with him, but TBH I think I'm scared, as I know it is likely to be the final nail in the coffin to any slim shreds of hope I may have that one day there will be another baby. Since he started getting cold feet about it again, we've had all the economic shocks and I know he's worried about the mortgage if interest rates rise (we have a decent amount of savings, but obviously not infinite) to the extent that he's reluctant for us to book a holiday for next April (basically a rebooking of the one we should have gone on this May when DD1 had the pox). And if he doesn't want to book a £2.6k holiday, he's not going to want to take on the costs of an extra child, is he?! Sorry for streams of consciousness, but my due date is coming up in the next few weeks and I'm feeling pretty wretched about it all...

TheBirdintheCave · 23/10/2022 10:04

@HJA87 I think that book does more harm than good unfortunately.

...

Does anyone else get a bit upset when new people post on the group to essentially brag about their BFP? As in, people who post once just to say that they had a miscarriage but are now pregnant and ask us if we can see a very obvious line then never post again? Like I'm happy that they got their BFP but why don't they join a pregnancy after miscarriage thread instead? 🤷🏻‍♀️ It just feels kinda cruel to post only once in a group where people are still hoping for their rainbow baby.

Not a dig to people who have 'served their time' in this group of course! BFPs for frequent posters are always met with joy 🥰

lizziecat1 · 23/10/2022 09:58

@pangolin84 similar here - right in middle of fertile period, possibly ovulating today, and feel like I'm forcing poor dh to dtd. Seduction tips required! Doesn't help that I've been on night shifts and we have visitors on the sofa bed right outside our bedroom door.

Mariabombia · 23/10/2022 09:58

I started taking loads of vits that book advised but they didn't agree with my tummy and I literally 💩 myself on the way to a holiday in May 🤣 I swiftly stopped after that incident.

HJA87 · 23/10/2022 09:43

Has anyone on here read and implemented the advice from “it starts with the egg” book? I’ve started reading it but so far it’s made me panic as it sounds like I’m doing everything wrong from the supplements I’m using to my plastic food containers, toxic cleaning products etc!

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 09:25

@bunnykins123 @FfayeN i cant find anything about it lol🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 I’ll have to ring epu and find out what I’m actually going for 🤣

FfayeN · 23/10/2022 09:13

@pangolin84 oh keep temping then hun just incase!
@ChloeN I had the anti-D too, but never had a follow up xx

pangolin84 · 23/10/2022 08:59

@bunnykins123 Thanks 😊 Somehow DH was up for DTD last night so also got that one in (no pun intended).
Weirdly my temp didn’t rise this morning and OPK higher again after dropping so maybe I didn’t O yesterday after all 🤷‍♀️

bunnykins123 · 23/10/2022 08:27

@pangolin84 I'm sure they said 2 days and 1 day before o give the best chance of success so you're in with a chance! We have been in that situation a few times too where DH is out, too hungover, not in the mood etc. it's draining. You have my sympathies!

@ChloeN sorry sweet, not heard of that before.
