@ROZRAX yeah you def have to push for everything, I also find it’s luck of the draw with what dr it is. I’m sure after 35 you can get extra support after 6 months in general anyway, so worth an ask. Thanks, hoping it will all be fine. I think it’s more a hormone issue tbh as since first miscarriage I’ve had really light periods, so don’t think my lining is getting thick enough. I may be wrong though.
@MrsCristianoX oh no, glad it’s only for a short while and hopefully your body will all reset for trying again. Yeah my partner kept saying you sure we need to use the condoms, I was like stop tempting me as I’m hanging on by a thread 😂. I’m due on tomorrow or tues, so likely still be bleeding for scan… trying to think could be worse could be on first day of period.
@bunnykins123 yeah I hope so too. I was referred in April and got lost in the system after having to cancel my first call as I was in Spain and after chasing my appointment for months it finally came through in sept!! Ironically my call came on the day of my miscarriage. Are they able to fix that easy enough for you? I don’t know much about nk cells.

bunnykins123 · 23/10/2022 20:10

@mummatara so are you taking 600mg of ubiqunol? I'm taking 200mg and now wonder if that's too low

@Bubblesandballoons I'm sorry to hear of your losses. I've had 3 early losses around 5 weeks. I've been diagnosed through the reoccurring miscarriage clinic that I have high NK cells so hopefully youll get some answers soon!

@ROZRAX I think it depends on the GP. I never registered mine but i lost all 3 at 5 weeks. Was referred immediately. The referral took an absolute age to come through though! We have defo seen some success with the fertility here!

mummatara · 23/10/2022 20:08

@ChloeN lol yes it really does because you don't want to wait 3 more months when every moment counts and you just want your baby as quick as possible. I don't think it's the same feeling as saying you're ready to have a baby and it's just taking a while to get pregnant there feels like this need for it to happen quickly because of that one you lost you are always thinking I should be this far pregnant now or I should have had my baby by now if that makes any sense.

I thought it was easy to understand. It tells you whats recommended and the amounts to take for what plan you're following. So something you might take for ivf you wouldn't take for recurrent miscarriage etc everything in there is backed by scientific research but it's not all gobbledygook

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 19:57

@mummatara 3 months seems forever doesn’t it🤷🏼‍♀️ either way say it’s the vitamins so we can all justify getting them🤣🤣 hopefully you’ll never know and next one will be a perfect pregnancy!🤞🏻🤞🏻
Is it easy to understand even with all the info? I don’t want to be too overwhelmed lol🤣xxx

@Everythingzrosie sorry to hear about impending AF, fingers crossed for next month😔🤞🏻

Everythingzrosie · 23/10/2022 19:54

Due af tomorrow and the spotting is getting darker so AF will arrive in full swing tomorrow… ☹️ Looking back at all my diaries I see that I’ve fallen pregnant month 3 after Mc so.. onto the magic month I go x

mummatara · 23/10/2022 19:33

@ChloeN 😂 I mean when I went down the supplement rabbit hole I was gobsmacked I thought that my pregnacare max at £15 was expensive 🙄 I really hope so the book says it takes 2-3 months for all the stuff to start taking effect on eggs etc I'm already 4.5 weeks down so if we do fall in the inbetween time and it's all ok I guess I'll never know if it was just nature or all the vits 😆 I did wonder that about having a unfussy womb I suppose it's hard to know as I was on the pill for a very very long time and I was always good at taking it. I fell month 2 with ds then went back on the pill before the second pregnancy I came off in Dec and fell in March but Dec/jan/Feb we were being careful and using condoms around fertile time March was a happy accident caught in the moment and I was 5 days out from O 😂 then this 3rd was first cycle after the MC. I guess if it keeps happening with no reasoning then it might be a possibility but only time will tell 🤷🏼‍♀️ age is not on my side either 37 in 2 weeks 🙄 I do recommend giving the book a read maybe the library has one if you don't want to fork out the money for it. Some of it I think needs to be taken with a pinch of salt in this day and age it's impossible to eliminate toxins from everything but I did find the info and science on all the supplements very interesting. Ps so sorry for that essay 😂

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 19:17

@Bubblesandballoons no I don't mind at all xx I've been out since a blood test in October showed high cholesterol and the drs wouldn't leave it. So am on a high dose medicine until end of November (can't ttc while on it) it's so so hard..DH has been in a different room at night too. I don't trust us/me😂 I think im due in a week so will miss another cycle. So December I will be on it! 😂🙏 No recurrent miscarriage clinic yet, I think the midwife was breaking me in, but the chemical was literally a faint positive for a day. I think I would refer myself privately but the blood test in October took it out of my hands for now. Hydrate a lot just in case they do the bloods xx 😘

ROZRAX · 23/10/2022 19:06

@Bubblesandballoons Thank you. Maybe I just need to shout a bit louder, no one’s exactly going to ring me up and offer support if I’ve not even spoken about it! I’ll be turning 36 in next few months. I really hope you get a good outcome from Saturday and go armed with snacks and drinks x

@ChloeN I know I always tell myself not to, vary rarely listen. I didn’t in Sept (but also didn’t feel symptoms).

I began to question my sanity and if I was wanting something so much I was having phantom symptoms!

Bubblesandballoons · 23/10/2022 18:56

@MrsCristianoX 😳 how many! I best take myself a snack for afterwards to keep me going 😂. Sorry to hear that. I’ve had to sit this month out for this ultrasound.. it felt like another blow after all this to have to waste a month. It’s hard going through your fertile window and not being able to at least try isn’t it. I just felt like my body was screaming at me to try 😩. Are you having tests to? (Hope you don’t mind me asking)
@ROZRAX mine did. I did register for a midwife app for first one at 4 weeks before I started bleeding at 5 weeks, so they had that on file. After the second chemical I just rang up gp in tears and she said she’d refer me, I’m over 35 too, so I’m not sure if that helped.

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 18:55

@mummatara that makes my £4 folic acid look pretty shit🤣 I worried initially about progesterone as that seemed to solve loads of people’s mc issues but I guess it isn’t with mmc, nearly the opposite I suppose! Hopefully the bankrupting vitmains will give you fab eggs and sperm in the future, 3rd time lucky for you lovely🤞🏻🤞🏻 do you think you’re one of those people whose body accepts any egg rather than rejecting the ones that might not make it?xxx

@ROZRAX I think that’s the worst thing with testing early!😔 but if it counts as a loss I guess it’s better to know and be able to access help!

mummatara · 23/10/2022 18:50

@ChloeN standard coq10 recommended dose is 600mg

ROZRAX · 23/10/2022 18:36

Hi Ladies….. had a bit of time away to “relax” but unfortunately had another Chemical. I tested early, shouldn’t have done but I felt like I was going mad as I felt pregnant, got a early positive so at least I’m not imaging it all! @Bubblesandballoons your history seems very similar. A miscarriage and 2x Chemical in past 6 months. In terms of seeing reoccurring miscarriage clinic do they “count” Chemicals? Acupuncture- anyone tried that? Or am I clutching at straws along fertilliy cup and pre seed introduced a few cycles back!

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 18:30

@Bubblesandballoons yea the last was the pregnancy in May and a chemical a couple months ago. Good luck for Saturday 🤞 the midwife told me they take 12 vials of blood at the last miscarriage for the recurrent miscarriage clinic 😱 (I haven't been through that yet though) I'm on a break at the mo until late November xx

mummatara · 23/10/2022 18:26

@ChloeN well my theory is that as both of mine have been MMC then low progesterone isn't my issue as I have no bleeding or spotting. I lost my first at 10 weeks and obviously this one was a blighted ovum which they say is more than likely a chromosome problem. I've had a healthy fairly problem free pregnancy in the past until I caught covid that is 🙄 but that's a whole other side to my theory 😂 I don't seem to have a problem getting pregnant it seems to be a baby developing problem which to me reads bad eggs or sperm or both

Bubblesandballoons · 23/10/2022 18:19

@MrsCristianoX yeah it does. I did have a snoop on a few threads for you and charl and biscuit lover and couldn’t see you guys, so hoped you had had your bfps. Sorry to see you are in the miscarriage group too. Hope you are as well as you can be xx

mummatara · 23/10/2022 18:17

@ChloeN 😂 afraid it is. I think there's a different recommended amount if you take coq10 I'll have a look for you. honestly I think I've bankrupt us with the vitamins 🙈 this is the link for the prenatal I'm not sure what you call them in the uk preconception 🤔

NATURELO Prenatal Multivitamin -... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M3Q83PG?ref=ppxpoppmobappshare

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 18:12

@mummatara just read the bottom bit of your post too, I don’t know if I have the same issue as you, might just be shit luck for me having the chemical last month too

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 18:12

@Bubblesandballoons I'm so sorry.. (was Mrs Grealish) what feels like a million years ago now xx

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 18:10

@mummatara is the ubiquinol the even more expensive one🤣 I don’t think my folic acid is a very high dose either 🤷🏼‍♀️ have you got a link for the folic acid you take? Xxx

mummatara · 23/10/2022 17:58

@ChloeN I've just read the book. It's recommended to take 400mg of coq10 but in the form of ubiquinol which is a better form for it and you need to take it in 2 goes so 200mg with breakfast and 200 with lunch. And to make sure your prenatal has at least 800mg of folic acid but in the form of methofolate which again is a more absorbable form. I've also added in extra vitamin d as I spend a lot of time indoors. Vitamin c and r-lipoic acid which is a good anti oxidant and is both water and fat soluble so absorbed a bit easier. DH also takes 200mg of ubiquinol the lipoic acid and DHA extra I can add links to any if it helps? I got the ones on the recommended supplement list from the book.

@HJA87
I haven't taken much else from the book other than try and clean up my diet a bit. I think there are def things that might take it a bit far. But I did find some of the supplements an interesting read. Mainly I think I'm trying to improve our egg and sperm quality as getting pregnant and keeping it doesn't seem to be our issue it seems to stop developing so I do think it depends what you think you're problems are too.

Bubblesandballoons · 23/10/2022 17:17

Hi, hope it’s ok to join. I have had four early miscarriages in the last 10 months since trying for baby no 2, one at 7 weeks (dec last year) and 3 chemicals (Jan, feb and September). I was on here at the beginning of the year, but needed a break. I have been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic and finally have an ultrasound on sat and hopefully bloods (no mention of it on letter, but she did say would be at same time so I’m hoping they will be done 🤞🏻).

LuckyMoonstone · 23/10/2022 17:06

@ChloeN that thank you was aimed at you, forgot to tag 😂

LuckyMoonstone · 23/10/2022 17:05

Woop here we are, thread 13!
I’ll probably be quiet on here this month as we are not TTC but I’ll dip in and out, and I’ll be back to it in December!
