@ChloeN it happened to me for the first time ever last cycle when I was pg. Specks of blood in the CM at 10 DPO and I had a positive on 11 DPO.

mummatara · 25/10/2022 10:01

@HJA87 yes I totally understand what you mean pattern is all you look at anyway

@bunnykins123 omg could you imagine if he did 😳😆 how awful and so odd 🤷🏼‍♀️ I've seen a few on Fb marketplace around the £100 mark so I've made enquiries I don't fancy paying full price 😳

@ChloeN oh lovely I can't help as never had implantation bleeding but I hope it is and not AF. I always get AF by 11/12dpo but they says it's def possible to implant late

HalWin2221 · 25/10/2022 09:56

@ChloeN i had it in my last pregnancy and I was cycle day 26. I think they say you can expect it around the same time of your period :)

MrsCristianoX · 25/10/2022 09:38

@ChloeN I had it just once. Had a lot of cramps back and front but only a tiny pink bit of cm. Thought no more about it (we weren't ttc at the time) but I thought it was weird because cramps got a lot less so did a test and it was very positive. I can't remember when in my cycle though xx

ChloeN · 25/10/2022 08:55

Any of you ladies that have had implantation bleeding before, how many dpo were you??
I had it last pregnancy at either 8/9dpo, I’m 12dpo (poss 11) today and have had the tiniest bit of watery pink when I’ve wiped. I’m thinking it might be my period coming annoying early as it seems a bit late for implantation?
I’m annoyed at myself for even asking this as I really did not want to symptom spot this cycle😡🤣

bunnykins123 · 25/10/2022 08:00

@mummatara I ordered one a year ago from eBay. It looked uh-maz-ing. The seller decided to not send it to my actual address but the address my eBay account was 1st registered to which is drum roll my ex boyfriend 🤦‍♀️ jeezus knows how she did that. Even eBay was miffed. But I never did get to use it and thank god ex boyf never contacted me asking if I'd recently bought an unusual new watch. (In all seriousness, I think they are supposed to be good but ££££)

HJA87 · 24/10/2022 21:36

@mummatara I think it’s accurate as the pattern looks similar to when I take it myself but the temperature will be lower because it’s skin temperature vs oral. So you can input it into other apps it will just be lower (but the pattern should be the same if you see what I mean). I also don’t understand the toddler attraction to thermometers 😂

Bubblesandballoons · 24/10/2022 21:07

Catching up now the little one is asleep. @RaliaMusca good luck with your scan tomorrow.
@Everythingzrosie sending lots of love. Annoying that they find it so hard to be on top of everything.
Interested to see how people get on with the Ava bracelet. I don’t temp as my ds is unpredictable with sleep, so don’t think a reading in the morning would be accurate. Af started today, so should not be bleeding for scan 🎉, looking forward to being able to try again this cycle.

MrsCristianoX · 24/10/2022 20:26

@mummatara ooh I'm v interested in something else. I did the thermometer twice and one reading said error🙄 I will investigate this.

mummatara · 24/10/2022 20:12

@HJA87 lol what is it about the thermometers 😂 I don't really want to use the app for tracking I want to input the temp into my current app with all the data I've built up. Would you say temps seem to be in line with how they would normally be if you used a thermometer. I'm just a bit worried it won't accurately take my temp and I would have wasted a lot of money 🤦🏼‍♀️ it would be handy too to not have to lie there and wait to take temp whilst DS is screaming to get out his cot ready for the day 😂

HJA87 · 24/10/2022 19:58

@mummatara I just got an Ava (been using it for a week). I’m only on day 9 of my cycle so can’t really comment much yet, I’ll report back once I’ve completed this cycle. I also bought it for the same reasons, my toddler always wanted to play with my thermometer every morning plus it was a pain remembering to take my temp.

mummatara · 24/10/2022 19:49

@ChloeN 😂 honestly lovely I think constantly testing can get so tedious so I don't think it matters if it's been one month two or ten there's always room for a break if you need it ❤️ I found bbt tracking even when we weren't trying interesting my O day really varies by a margin of +/- 7 days. Though maybe once I've been off the pill and not pregnant or breastfeeding for a while it might settle down. Wish I had found it sooner but I suppose medicated contraception is pushed and the norm nothing else was ever mentioned it was the pill or condoms 🤷🏼‍♀️

ChloeN · 24/10/2022 19:21

@mummatara I defo think it would give me peace of mind to confirm ovulation, think that’s a worry every month! If this cycle isn’t successful I’m either going to do bbt, or alternatively nothing at all🤣 haven’t quite decided but think maybe a break from testing might be helpful? Here’s me going on about needing a break when I’ve only tracked for 2 months😵‍💫

@curliegirlie thanks lovely, love a free app🤣 if I do bbt I’ll defo download and then ask you all for help on what on earth it means

curliegirlie · 24/10/2022 19:03

@ChloeN seconded that fertility friend is the best of the apps I've seen for temping and graphs that are easy to read and interpret, plus it seems the most responsive to data input (as opposed to PreMom, which seems to do its own sweet thing, although its OPK analysis is useful).

mummatara · 24/10/2022 18:39

@ChloeN yes and it's helpful to see after ovulation if temp drops means AF is on her way but if it stays up then for sure a good sign. I def recommend it if you can get your head around doing it. It will confirm when O def was you learn a lot about your cycle doing it so you notice if something is a bit different ❤️ I like the app femometer and have used natural cycles too but prefer femometer both are paid apps but I think a lot of people use fertility friend which is free

ChloeN · 24/10/2022 18:33

@mummatara ah makes sense! BBT is one thing I haven’t done yet! Do you use it just to confirm ovulation? Xx

mummatara · 24/10/2022 17:33

@ChloeN you wear it at night only for BBT tracking. It's meant to be more accurate at taking a temp as you've worn it all night than just one temp in the morning. You wear it on your wrist. It's not cheap at £249 but it will be nice to not have to wake up and remember to do temp

ChloeN · 24/10/2022 16:57

@mummatara i haven’t heard much about them! Is it something you just wear constantly throughout your cycle? Xx

@Everythingzrosie sounds like we should of been due around a similar time😔 that’s so fustrating! Sending you lots of love xx

Everythingzrosie · 24/10/2022 14:39

😡I need a rage…. Cd1 and I would be 21 weeks pregnant. The postman brings me a letter from the nhs regarding my bloods and giving me my 2nd card to carry around due to antibody c. I didn’t need the 1st one they sent me at 12 weeks but I had only just miscarried so I put that down to admin not getting the information that I was no longer pregnant. However, 9ish weeks on and I’ve no reason to have got this next one! I’m already upset that I’ve got AF and now this.

mummatara · 24/10/2022 14:34

I've made a new thread anyway but just wondering if anyone in here had used the Ava fertility tracker bracelet? I've tracked BBT for a few years but DS keeps breaking my thermometers as it's on my bedside table and of course they are so fun to play with 🙄 so I'm wondering if there is something else that might be better in the long term. I'm not going back on the pill after we eventually get DC2 so I'll be using BBT all the time

FfayeN · 24/10/2022 13:08

@Margo34 sorry lovely I do remember you from before 🥰. I just wanted to validate everything your feeling and say it is totally normal. Even if it wasn't, it's how you feel. Like @Indianna2006 said hopefully it will come in time 😘. So lovely to hear you're doing well so far too xxx

ChloeN · 24/10/2022 11:02

@RaliaMusca good luck for tomorrow lovely, will be thinking of you❤️ I think all your anxiety is so normal, it would be so hard not to overthink everything after a loss! Xxx

Indianna2006 · 24/10/2022 11:02

@Margo34 I think it’s likely a mixture of it all. We told our DD and grandparents at weekend. And there all so excited. And I almost feel guilty because I just feel a bit meh. Like self preservation I think. I also still convinced something will go wrong somehow. And people knowing has freaked me out a little.
ive l had a few weird days where I keep getting upset. But it was all okay?! I think it’s just massive fear and anxiety. All normal after loss.
Again same also my baby would of been due in like 2 weeks. It’s A mixture of emotions.

i also keep crying an television tho when normally I wouldn’t. So I know my hormones are heightened and playing silly buggers with me. Which doesn’t help.

If it helps at all. I do remember feeling like this with DD too. Due to previous mc. I freaked out telling people. Worried about 16w midwife appointment. Worried about 20 wk scan. Way more than your average person. And once they were kicking and I got past 24 weeks where they viable to be saved. I did relax and start to enjoy it. So I’m hoping that may be the same projectory for me this time. Slowly slowly you start to believe you might actually get there. 🌈

FfayeN · 24/10/2022 10:57

@RaliaMusca Oh love I can imagine it's so easy to get distracted when all you can think about is everything being ok. We're almost halfway through the day though and I'm glad your appt is nice and early!
I am 5+2, is it me or is time going backwards?!

RaliaMusca · 24/10/2022 10:40

@FfayeN thank you, it's good to hear I'm not alone. It just freaks me out because my previous two pregnancies were identical in their symptoms. My worry is that this one hasn't progressed as it should.
I'm working from home today, which is the worst. I'm alone in the house, and my work productivity has been awful since the MMC in August.
Luckily the scan is at 9:30 am tomorrow.
How far along are you now?
