@Babydustmamma @Bubblesandballoons thanks ladies💕 think start of AF is always such a shit day, hopefully I’ll feel better tomorrow xx

RaliaMusca · 26/10/2022 14:30

@Babydustmamma you could look into seed cycling to regulate hormones. Soya contains phytoestrogens that can help.
Also make sure you take a vitamin D supplement and ideally B vitamins as well as they are involved in oestrogen synthesis.
You could also look into herbal remedies but as they can be quite powerful, I'd ask a qualified herbalist for advice. They'd also look into contraindications with any medications you're taking, which is super important.

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 13:57

@Bubblesandballoons i was tempted to just use the clear blue this month so that I didn’t get too in my head about the specifics to be fair!♥️

does anyone have any tips for raising estrogen naturally?

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 13:56

@ChloeN so sorry lovely 🌻 completely agree! Have just started mine and there’s nothing like it, no words just demoralising and deflating ♥️ Holding space for you xxx

Bubblesandballoons · 26/10/2022 13:46

@Babydustmamma thats interesting about the clear blue picking it up first. I’ve had a few cycles off using them, but bought one for this cycle. Definitely will keep the Mira in mind if no luck after the nhs tests.
@ChloeN sorry it looks like af is here. It’s so hard post miscarriage to navigate your feelings. Glad your feeling a bit better after going to work x

ChloeN · 26/10/2022 11:15

@Fuckallthetories lovely news congratulations❤️

After no blood yesterday I had some more spotting this morning like AF is coming so that’s me out this cycle!😢 this is the worst I’ve felt in ages, nearly cancelled all my clients today because I just don’t want to talk to anyone but I’ve made myself carry on and do feel a bit better! @mummatara im buying the bankrupting vitamins this month lol🤣

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 11:12

@Bubblesandballoons ahh that’s really good to know, thank you for sharing ♥️ I completely agree actually my first two were more normal and the second two have been much weirder!

The mira is good in terms of specifics and I think (hope) that when I take it to the doctors it will help demonstrate what I’ve been feeling is going on. In all honesty the month that I used it I felt really bad anxiety and got really hung up on every single number, because it was saying my estrogen and progesterone levels were low. It did help me feel slightly more in control though. I think that if the numbers were good it would’ve been really reassuring and it did give really precise info! i used it alongside the clear blue smiley face tests and they picked up the LH rise was due before any changes were shown on the mira which I thought was interesting!

I’ve also tried the Ava bracelet, but wouldn’t personally recommend it ♥️

@Fuckallthetories congratulations 🎉
@Babydustmamma I had medical management with the first of this set of miscarriages, I passed the sac 3 days after and then had negative tests within 2 weeks. The next cycle ran like clockwork so I thought I was ok, but then I had the two chemicals, and then the light periods started 🤷🏼‍♀️. I was expecting heavy painful periods from what I researched after miscarriage. Can’t say I listen to podcasts, but interested to see what people recommend. Definitely having a supportive group helps. Is the Mira good? I was tempted, but worry I may get obsessive over the numbers 🙈 xx

lizziecat1 · 26/10/2022 09:46

@Fuckallthetories congratulations! Fabulous news!

TheBirdintheCave · 26/10/2022 09:26

Congrats @Fuckallthetories :)

Fuckallthetories · 26/10/2022 09:08

@Babydustmamma
so sorry my love about your loss Flowers we’ve all been through this so we know to some degree how you feel xx

Fuckallthetories · 26/10/2022 09:07

It’s a me (a mario?)

amazing news here.

ready (drumrollll)
after six months of trying, two failed ivf treatments I am finally finally pregnant!!!!

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 08:57

@theblueflowers thank you for sharing ♥️ I really appreciate it!

That’s the thing isn’t it! You see online it should be super quick and it’s easy to get caught up in the ‘should be’, especially when you feel like you should be pregnant still ♥️ It’s been a really tough process to go through. Has anyone found any podcasts that have helped at all?♥️

theblueflowers · 26/10/2022 08:12

@Babydustmamma so sorry to hear about your experience. I also went down the pill at home route. It took just over 4 weeks to get a negative pregnancy test, and then another 7 weeks for a period. I was like you and so frustrated because I was reading online that it should be a lot quicker. It sounds like your body is working itself out though, really hope it settles quick for you x

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 07:57

@FfayeN ahhh I see! That makes sense :) thank you so much for your help and kind words! Feel like I’m definitely in the right place ♥️

FfayeN · 26/10/2022 07:50

@Babydustmamma only so much as there are risks with having the surgical management which can include scarring. Really light periods after can be an indication of that but sounds like your body is just readjusting again if you had medical management. I really hope they come back to your normal soon 😘 xxx

@Bubblesandballoons thank you so much for sharing and I’m so sorry to hear about your losses ♥️ I think you’re right, we’re all a little different! Reassuring to know that it’s normal to resettle at different rates at least, so thank you!♥️

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 07:18

@FfayeN thank you ♥️ Through the pills only, at home ♥️ That’s really interesting! I had no idea that the different types have different effects. I went for a private scan on a Thursday when I found out because I’d had a little spotting, and then was referred to the hospital. When I got to the hospital on the Monday, no one explained anything to me they just asked me which option I’d like 😅 (not nhs bashing, think it’s a brilliant thing just stretched) but because of that I don’t think I was really prepared or informed about what came next. I wonder if anyone else had a similar or different experience?♥️

Bubblesandballoons · 26/10/2022 06:20

@Babydustmamma I had 3 consecutive early miscarriages and I’ve had 7 months of light periods, even after my chemical last month the bleeding was light. This months af is the first one that’s nearly back to normal for me, so hoping everything is finally settling down 🤞🏻. It took 3 months after my chemical before ds for them to settle. Think it’s one of those things that for some it’s quick and others it takes time annoyingly. Fingers crossed yours settles soon.

FfayeN · 26/10/2022 04:39

@Babydustmamma so sorry for your loss 😔. Do you mind me asking how the MC was resolved? Was it natural or surgical? That can sometimes give a reason for different periods after? xx

Thank you @Aprilsunnyday ♥️ I appreciate you sharing your cycle journey. Sorry for your loss too! It’s reassuring to know that I’m not alone I guess - when I Google it, it seems like your cycles are just supposed to ‘bounce back’ but if I think logically then I know my body has been through a huge trauma so 4 months isn’t that long. It’s just grim waiting it out though isn’t it! ♥️

Aprilsunnyday · 25/10/2022 22:41

@Babydustmamma so sorry to hear about the mmc, it sucks. I hope your cycle will return to normal soon.
My period wasnt returning till 10 weeks later after mmc completed. And the cycles went a bit wrong but would likely gradually come back with time. 🤞
I would say being patient with your body is key... Its hard though! Xx

Babydustmamma · 25/10/2022 22:20

thank you! And congratulations ♥️

I have been tracking my ovulation (a bit obsessively 😅) I’ve been using OPKs and the Mira fertility kit. Annoyingly I seem to get really anxious doing the basal temping! I just wind myself up in the night that I’ll forget to take it and end up having really naff sleep.
