@ChloeN ah thanks for sharing. I will have to keep testing for the next few days. Just me being really impatient and hoping will ovulate sooner rather than later..

ChloeN · 03/11/2022 19:07

@Kayycatt for my mmc I didn’t ovulate until I’d had a period again, for my chemical I ovulated 3 days later than usual ☺️

Kayycatt · 03/11/2022 17:32

@bubble55 thank you 😊

bubble55 · 03/11/2022 17:29

@Kayycatt i think day 15/16. Good luck xx

Kayycatt · 03/11/2022 17:24

@bubble55 oh wow, that's amazing! Congratulations! also gives me some hope.

Do you remember when you ovulated? I normally ovulate around CD14. I may test again in a few days.

MrsCristianoX · 03/11/2022 17:23

@bubble55 @Cindy974 congratulations bubbles💕 I can find no recommendations on nice guidelines or hospital sites to recommend the use in v early pregnancy unless a blood work up showed thrombolytic or immunological issues. However as @HalWin2221 says there are independent studies done that do recommend it but not officially recognised by nice (before 12 weeks) for high bmi. I'm sorry I'm no use here ladies. Also bare in mind I'm struggling to get pregnant too so may not have all the answers 💕 I do use aspirin at a dose of 150mg as I have a clotting/heart problem xx

bubble55 · 03/11/2022 17:20

@Kayycatt i had a chemical in September I ovulated as normal and I’m now pregnant again x

Kayycatt · 03/11/2022 17:17

This may have been shared before. I just want to ask for anyone who has unfortunately experienced MC, when did you ovulate again? I had MC last month and I want to try again already. Tested negative on the CB 4 days OPK this morning. If I count the day of my MC bleed as CD1, then I am on CD11. Any advice would be appreciated.

bubble55 · 03/11/2022 17:10

Just to add to the aspirin chat - I had two chemicals and decided to take 150mg aspirin (nhs recommended dose now) and double folic acid and I’m now 5w2d 🤞🏼

Cindy974 · 03/11/2022 15:19

@MrsCristianoX yes please if you dont mind thank you 💕

@HalWin2221 i do have a huge pack of 75mg aspirin ready to take but wasnt sure if to or not! thank you, good luck to you aswell lovely 🤞🏼🌈

HalWin2221 · 03/11/2022 15:16

@Cindy974 i took aspirin from my BFP. I had an ultrasound a couple of weeks prior as I had another miscarriage so I thought everyone looked ok to take the aspirin. I just take 75mg on a night and I’m currently 5+6. Good luck in your pregnancy, I hope this one is a sticky bean! 🤞🏽 x

MrsCristianoX · 03/11/2022 14:48

@Cindy974 I think after 12 weeks but I can check for you. I know high dose folic acid is recommended x

Cindy974 · 03/11/2022 14:38

@FfayeN thank you lovely 💕

LuckyMoonstone · 03/11/2022 14:38

@MrsCristianoX he’s pleased a few women in his time I bet 😂

Cindy974 · 03/11/2022 14:30

@LuckyMoonstone thank you lovely, im so glad you’re finally getting the help you deserve! I know what you mean about female doctors I do think sometimes they are more empathetic x

@MrsCristianoX yeah thats true! I feel silly bothering them already when i havent even missed my period yet 🤣 no they havent and testing came back from baby and all genetically all okay. The only difference now is im no longer breastfeeding, with my three losses i was still breastfeeding DD and with each pregnancy i breastfed less and got further along no sure if it’s related or not 🤔 I am overweight though and dont they normally recommend aspirin if you’re overweight? X

MrsCristianoX · 03/11/2022 14:28

@LuckyMoonstone 😅 exactly what I was thinking😂 man's got a stick and knows how to use it 🤣 Jesus shouldn't laugh that was a horrendous time..3 times I was told it wasn't viable. I know this! Read your notes!

theblueflowers · 03/11/2022 14:26

@LuckyMoonstone that's such great news! You have so deserved to get some help, and it's brilliant that they are finally listening! You are absolutely right though, it can feel so hit and miss with support due to the doctor you have, but wonderful that you are getting it now.

@Cindy974 tentative congratulations! I would definitely get in touch with your GP on the day of your missed period like you said. I would probably hold off the aspirin until you've discussed with a doctor; you will surely get support with prior miscarriages. Were you under a recurrent miscarriage clinic?

LuckyMoonstone · 03/11/2022 14:01

@MrsCristianoX makes me wonder what he got up to in his spare time to make him so skilled in that area 😆

MrsCristianoX · 03/11/2022 13:57

@LuckyMoonstone that is brilliant news lovely 😊 I can agree with the female Gp taking it more seriously, mine is lovely. A random story from me now..so when I had the many vaginal scans they were carried out by 4 different midwives (female) and then one male doctor. With the midwives they hurt like hell then the doctor was called in during one of them and I gotta say he knew how to handle that wand. 3 twists and he saw everything. I can see the funny side now but the man knew how to handle that stick. No pain, over in a heartbeat 😂

ChloeN · 03/11/2022 13:33

@LuckyMoonstone what good news!! Must feel so nice to be listened too and actually have someone help!🥰

LuckyMoonstone · 03/11/2022 13:27

@FfayeN haha I’ll be ok waiting half an hour for my cuppa

FfayeN · 03/11/2022 13:25

@LuckyMoonstone absolutely. I found it a bit tricky to start with (I was a sucker for a morning coffee ASAP) but now I just have to wait an hour, and if I have one before then I make sure it's decaff. Although...I'm permanently on decaff now anyway 😂. It's good they're getting you back soon to see how they're doing aswell. xx

@FfayeN thank you :) not sure how much they have prescribed me, probably a low dose to start, I’m sure it’ll tell me on the box when I pick it up tomorrow. Got to go back for bloods in 6-8 weeks to see how I’m getting on.
@TheBirdintheCave thank you, I could honestly cry with relief and happiness

FfayeN · 03/11/2022 12:51

@Cindy974 tentative congratulations I totally empathise with your concerns and I would echo @MrsCristianoX suggestions and advice. Take each day as it comes and hopefully if you call they will offer some support and reassurance scans.

@LuckyMoonstone I am so pleased your Dr has been supportive and that you've come out with an action plan! Sounds like you've advocated yourself and your Dr has taken it all on board, wonderful news!! Have they started you on 50mcg? Did they tell you when to book the next test to see how your levels are looking?
Absolutely chuffed for yoh xx
