Risk of pregnancy doing this?

Me and my boyfriend use the withdrawal method. However sometimes we do it twice in a row using this method. What are my chances of pregnancy if I was to keep doing this?

Before you say anything I am ready to have a baby if it were to happen, it's more him that doesn't want one.

He should pee and wash after ejaculating for maximum effectiveness.

@MsBombastic555 maybe a bit of a controversial comment based on other people’s response but being honest me and my partner did this for 2 years and I never conceived, first month trying we fell pregnant so worked well for us. We were financially stable and in a good relationship so we would of been happy to fall at any time! I’m sure your partner knows the risk so I doubt he would be upset if you did get pregnant surely?

Yeah I don't think he would be. I am also financially stable. I was just curious more than anything else. Particularly when doing it twice how much the risks go up by.

Contraception or abstinence.

Please!! Don't produce a child with a reluctant and resentful sperm donor. That's reprehensible.

And no, withdrawal is not reliable.

Please be responsible with your fertility.

He's not dead against it or anything it's not like that 😔

Then you aren’t ready to have a baby and should use protection. It’s not an effective form of contraception at all and there is a fair change of getting pregnant yes.

lechatnoir · 21/10/2022 19:34

Risk is 1 in 5 every time you have sex so yes do it twice in one night you are highly likely to get pregnant at some point. If he doesn't want a baby then using proper birth control (preferably conforms if you haven't had STI checks)

Sarahcoggles · 21/10/2022 19:34

assuming you're young neither of you have any fertility problems I expect you'll get pregnant fairly soon

allgoodthings84 · 21/10/2022 19:32

And yes he should wear a condom

allgoodthings84 · 21/10/2022 19:31

If he doesn’t want a baby do not take any risks to result in a baby. You do not want a baby with someone who doesn’t want one, it won’t end well

sanityisamyth · 21/10/2022 18:48

If he doesn't want one then he needs to wear a condom.
