@birdboo hiiiii well, think we're the last few to the party. Got my frer ready for tomorrow but it's only 13dpo so will anticipate a negative
I think the generic supermarket ones are 25miu so are not very sensitive.
Get a decent test, pay the money, put your mind at ease. Use a cheap test for line progression if you are comforted that way.
Have you got another test for the morn?

@SmurfStar I caved!!! Bfn, walked around the house to check it under different lights and not even a evap or indent for me to obsess over 😂 I thought I was due on today as af arrived at 12dpo last cycle but premom says tomorrow and flo says Tuesday so I'm going to test again in the morning, they're asda cheap tests so not sure if they're sensitive enough to pick up hcg early or not. Off to Google how likely it is to get bfn at 12dpo and still be pregnant!

I suppose sore boobs is good for you then seeing it happened with your first. Do you have the willpower not to test until next weekend? Dunno if you read the whole thread, but I have admitted quite a few times that I have no patience at all, so no judgement if you test every day until then 😂

@VictoriaBlossom definitely not testing tonight, I'm trying to hold off for a late period as I didn't do that last cycle and spent too much time staring at an indent line and wondering 😅 sounds like something is going on there! Last time I was pregnant I had a morrisons breakfast that tasted so disgusting that I asked for a refund, found out a few days later I was pregnant 👀👀

Any room for one more? I'm currently 11dpo and should be testing over the weekend. I caved in today on my way to work and bought and early clearblue digital which was of cause a bfn. We're both in our late 30 and only on cycle 1 ttc for baby 2. Last time was 6 years ago and happened after 6 months of trying and I all remember was feeling very aware of my boobs this early on.

So far I've had really sore and firm boobs for the last few days, to the point I had to hold them during a shower and the shower water made them feel sore. Even dh remarked that they feel firm when normally so close to my period they are more like deflated balloons. I have felt nausea for the past few days. Originally I put it down to a hangover from Thursday but it seems too be getting more constant. I bought a latte at work and only managed a sip before I felt worse. Also my ppmd seems to be at bay. Normally it's a really dark place before my period but I still feel really happy and balanced. I had a few low cramps like normal yesterday but that's it.

Tmi warning I've also been experiencing some really explosive 💩 which I put down to a bad beer line but it happened again today.

I promised dh that I would wait for the weekend to test but it's driving me crazy. I feel nothing like I normally do this close to my period at all.

OH just took me for a nandos and the coke tasted rank, and my mash tasted like chemicals. Extra hot sauce didn't blow my face off either so deffo something going on here. Found a digital CB which confirms the weeks.... to test or not to test

I have the no sore boobs still, this WEIRD headache still that I was on about the other day, that shifted to the right yesterday and now it's back on the left, wtf, and the ovalness still lol. And the disappearing line that went yesterday, that was worrying 🤔 sigh. Roll on tomorrow x

12/13DPO and BFN, AF due yesteray or today so just waiting for her to show. Been crampy since 8/9 DPO which is annoying. Hubbys bday today so no surprise for him 🥺 had another cry. Just want AF to show now and put me out my misery!

You do what is best for you and baby! I did have early scans, and will do again if I'm pregnant.

Yes I have normal period like cramps and also loose bowels, I actually thought I had a bug!

my sisters had hypermesis throughout their pregnancies so I’m hoping I don’t have that. I do feel nauseated this morning but I don’t know if everything is just heightens because I am in shock. After countless tests I’ve finally got a positive!

@Carly2014 do you like shreddies? Or any kind of cereal that's fortified with iron will help. I was borderline anemic with DS and my midwife recommended fortified cereal, it did help raise my iron levels. Also lots of green veg like broccoli, unsalted nuts, beans and lentils.

If you like salmon or other oily fish that's great for baby's brain and eye development, although I couldn't handle it until 2nd trimester.

1st trimester I lived on Ritz crackers and salted crisps, poor son haha.

Most foods are ok so I wouldn't worry too much. Have a look on the NHS. I think the main ones to avoid are unpasteurised cheese (Eg blue cheeses), rare meat or cured deli meats like salami and of course caffeine and alcohol. I think up to 200mg caffeine a day is alright?

I'd also say, I can't remember if you said you have had any cramps yet, but cramps and feeling like AF is going to start at any moment is completely normal. That freaked me out, but it was fine.

I actually have my first appointment with NHS infertility clinic next week 🤣 so I will maybe go along or call them up tomorrow to say what happens now?

this pregnancy will be high risk. I have an auto immune condition so I’ve always been told I need to be under special care. I think I will pay for NIPT testing. My sister did that and it was great to have peace of mind rather than waiting to 16 week scan.

I never realised it would be Christmas! So exciting!

any advice on what to eat or drink until now? I do have iron deficiency so I need to take those.

@SmurfStar my official test date isn’t until the 7th of November so ages away yet. I doubt I will be able to hold it in until then.

@SmurfStar sorry but who cares what other people think . I think it's amazing to have kids such a similar age because they'll grow up being mates?!!
If I had two kids I'd want a small gap between them. Although, a baby and a terrible two year old would be a tough time for you 😂

@Carly2014 to be honest I think they're just a multi vit with folic acid and some have ashwaganda (think that's how it's spelled)
Went to the factory that makes the pregnacare stuff last week ironically... they make most brands that are in the gel capsule, just a slight tweak to the recipe.
Well, congratulations, and like previously mentioned you'll be releasing the info on Xmas day (if you can wait) I'll be honest, after my mmc I will wait til the 12 weeks. I never thought a miscarriage would happen for me as I'm part of such a big healthy family. So Mother Nature soon knocks you down a peg when you're a bit cock sure of yourself!

Yes my stomach is upset. I feel like I’m on my period. I have the cramps, the tiredness. The only difference is I have nausea and sense of smell!

This is my first ever positive test for my husband and I. I’m just in total shock. All those months of planning properly didn’t amount to anything!

the only difference too is I started taking seven seas preconception this month. Previously I’ve taken the Pregnacare brand.
