TTC a first

@Bananatoast123 me and DH are the same age as you guys! We also did not think it would take so long.
I really hope that AF doesn’t come for you - how are you feeling about it?
I have high hopes this cycle, but I’m terrified to be disappointed again.

@Staciejade54 & @Thatskindafun literally I’m the same!! So AF is just spotting right now, coming and going. It did this last month and was such a tease. I’m going to see how it goes over the next few days before testing.

@UserL95 hey! I’m about to start cycle 9 if Af commits to coming! I know how you feel about being very ready for BFP! It feels reassuring that someone else is as far into TTC as us! We’ve done the same, some relax and some tracking but no luck! I’m 27 and my
OH is 28 and we never expected it to take us this long with no signs of it working!!

Hey ladies. I am also TTC #1 and currently on cycle 2. I am 4DPO and trying hard not to symptom spot this month. Last month I was really upset when AF arrived even though I knew it was unlikely to happen so fast, so I’m trying to relax a bit more this cycle. It’s so hard though isn’t it as you can’t help but get your hopes up. Fingers crossed for some BFPs for us all soon!

Hi everything, can I join with you all too?
We are TTC#1 and are officially at cycle 7 but unofficially cycle 10 (for the first 3 months we played it really cool, didn’t track anything, just went on intuition which clearly didn’t work for us!). Very very ready for our BFP.
I OPK on and off as I have a very good idea about my cycle (lh surge day 16/17) and regular 29/30 day cycles. Never could get into BBT personally.
today is CD19 so the TWW has officially started.
We’ve been taking some new supplements this month, only for 2 weeks yet, so probably too early for that to have kicked in but going to try and be hopeful anyways.

@Thatskindafun sorry to hear about AF! Why it is we test and AF shows up later that day?! Seems to always happen that way!
Fingers are crossed you your next cycle 🤞🏼currently on cycle 10 and I've found it actually less stressful each cycle, apparently only 15-25 % chance each month so the longer I've gone, I'm thinking it must be time soon surely? 😂

10/11 dpo today and another BFN this morning. AF due tomorrow so I guess we'll see then.

@Staciejade54 yeah to be fair I think I’ve lengthened my luteal phase from 13 to 14 days the last few months and my cycle has been like clockwork from the last so trying to see it as positive signs going forward! Onto cycle 9 so hopefully this is our one!

I hate when people say don’t think about it and it’ll happen. It doesn’t work that way, and you naturally do think about it. If anyone knows how not to then please share the advice 🤣🤣

Hi can I join, TTC no 1, on cycle 10, no luck yet, had a few short cycles early on but been taking Vit D Vit C and B 12 which have helped loads to lengthen my luteal phase!
Feeling optimistic this month but also have suspected endo and waiting for a lap, hoping I catch soon 🤞🏼

@Bananatoast123 ah that’s annoying it came slightly late for you. Mine is due on Friday which feels like ages away

@Bananatoast123 it is isn’t it haha, I’ve been taking it throughout the day each day and it’s still stayed at the same! I’m not ill or anything as I have no other symptoms that would relate to being ill which is weird. I did take a test this morning but still negative, so we shall see 🤞

@Staciejade54 oh that is high! Do you do it as soon as you wake up? It’s either good news or a fever! Have you taken a test today? I mean 10dpo is still early! I’m due today and no sign yet! I’m not wanting to get my hopes up though 🤦🏼‍♀️ as Af always eventually shows!

@Bananatoast123 I did think similar, done many a Google search haha. So I’m watching out for sudden drop, today it was 37.4. I’m 10dpo today

@Staciejade54 I think it is suppose to keep rising if you do get pregnant… think it could drop before AF though… not sure how many days out that it’s a sign of one and not the other! How many dpo are you?

@Bananatoast123 ah okay fair enough, I’ve been taking mine all week and it’s really high, not sure whether this was a correlation in early pregnancy, who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Staciejade54 no I’ve not before but I will be doing bbt my whole cycle next month as it supposedly confirms ovulation

do either of you take your temperature during the 2ww?

@Staciejade54 & @CheeryCupcake 7 cycles in and I’ve done all the early testing before! This is the first month I’ve not as I somehow thought it would make a difference ha!

@Staciejade54 I feel the same way about the test the other day - I was only 6/7 dpo at the time so much too early, I don't know what I was thinking . BFN of course. It's just so tempting though isn't it?

That’s really patient of you @Bananatoast123. I caved and took a test today 10dpo on a cheapie which was negative! I know it’s still early but kinda wished I hadn’t taken it now

@Seinfeldfan i will do! I’m not testing until Wednesday as I’d be classed as late then! I’ve had a bit of both, my usual pms which is waking up between 2-4am (happens every month) and then also had indigestion / nausea but I feel it’s AF coming!

so I had my day 3 which tests FSH, LH, AMH and thyroid etc and they were all within range. Used an online provider called hertility and they do offer follow ups etc! But I rang the doctor to check if I needed anything else and they ran my usual bloods so iron and vitamins levels etc! We don’t really know why we are potentially going onto cycle 9 with no BFP but will get my OH tested and internal scans early next year but it does cost 🥺!

I’m getting a bit worried but also know we’ve got to keep going for 12 cycles before I let it get to me!
