Just a thread for those of us TTC for the first time, but also anyone else that wants to join really!
We’re currently TTC baby no.1 and just on cycle #1 too, but DH and I both have health conditions that may make it difficult so I’m already driving myself crazy.

Im usually like clockwork but this month, of all months, AF was due 4 days ago and there’s no sign yet
Obviously every test I’ve done is negative though.

just looking for anyone to keep me company really whilst I obsessively check other peoples line eyes posts!

Oh no @Bananatoast123 sorry you’re having a hard time. it’s so disappointing every month, and I feel so responsible for it too, like I’m letting dh down when I tell him it’s another bfn month.

ive decided I need to be more positive though. I actually think maybe this board isn’t helping, I feel like all I see are chemicals and indents and all sorts of things I didn’t even know were possible before and I’m starting to think it’s a wonder any children are born at all with the low success rate I see here. But of course, the people who get pregnant without really trying and have an easy pregnancy aren’t the ones positing here, so it’s not a fair sample!
I’m trying to think it’ll happen when it happens and I won’t even care about the months trying once it does.….we’ll see how long I last before I’m frustrated again but I feel much better for now.

@Thatskindafun AF came for me 4 days ago 😢 I’m so like over it all now 😂 11 months later and I just don’t expect it to happen. My pms mood was awful yesterday, so down in the dumps about everything! I can never seem to stop how low my mood goes when I’m on!

How’s it going @rockyslife and @Bananatoast123 -and anyone else who’s still here?

i still feel sick at lots of smells but not as bad. Actually vomited when DH start cooking a steak one day. No idea what happened as AF started a few days after i was sick.
we’re on last shot of 2022 now though and then onto the new year! Fingers crossed

I am so confused I am not due my flow for another 6 days and ive got ready for bed this eve and there's quite a bit of brown discharge, I surely cant be coming on my period 6 days early?! Making me think have I some how tracked it wrong but I know I couldnt of. Has anyone else had this?

My boobs are so so sore too atm in a way they don’t usually get, and certain smells are making me feel physically sick
but pregnancy tests are all still BFNs and AF is due today or tomorrow, so they’d be positives by now if I was. Not sure what’s happening!

I’m 6dpo and had the onset sore boobs since 4dpo and now they’re uncomfortable! It usually starts around 7dpo and gets bad just before AF (I say this but it’s not been happening in the more recent cycles) I really don’t want to overthink it but could be a sign or that I’ve miscalculated my O.

I only did an OPK on CD12 at 10pm and it was 0.7 and then in the morning of CD13 it peaked at 1.19 and then by midday CD14 I was 1.14 so I’ve assumed I peaked during CD13… making ovulation CD14! I’m CD20 now and they are agonising to touch!

It feels too early for this to be a sign!

and selfishly I feel like it’s impossible to get pregnant so it’s nice to hear it isn’t haha

BFN today! 10dpo
i dont ‘feel’ pregnant so it’s what I was expecting. Just a bit frustrated. Obviously it’s not completely over until AF arrives, but I’ve accepted it, onto the next month. If it worked this next cycle I’d find out around NYE so I’m praying for that now

@UserL95 I’ve had this when I had covid! My period was very off and short! I hope you pick up for next cycle 🙏🏼

I’m 4dpo, haven’t tracked but know I ovulated CD14. We dtd CD 9,10,13,14 only (with 13&14 my OH wasn’t well). I’m not hopeful at all as work has been really stressful again. Got a banging headache today because of it 😫 just not convinced this will be our month!

because I’m desperate I’d be tempted to do a test though haha

This has been the most bizarre month for me of all! Spotting between cycle (never experienced before). AF(?) arrived bang on time but VERY light which is super unusual. Didn’t feel very AF-y either with minimal cramps. However I have had the flu-bug that’s going around so am bunged up and snotty. Could this impact AF?? God only knows

I think we missed my dates
but I’m 5dpo and using all my willpower to not test twice a day despite logically knowing it would be a waste of time

@UserL95 no advice I’m afraid I’m looking at starting it myself at the moment it feels really overwhelmingly complicated!
i know there should be a rise but I’ve no idea what it means.

@Rockyslife fidnyou have your procedure I hope it went well, and if you haven’t had it yet I’m hoping you’ve had time to come to terms with it and it doesn’t seem so scary. As others said at least you’ll have some answers hopefully

hope everyone is doing good, my Tww starts this weekend so I’m sure I’ll be back here again next week, trying not to symptom spot.

I got my lh surge today finally on CD18! Usually I have been getting lh surge CD17 but better a bit late than never. This is also the first month that I’m tracking bbt (pic inserted below). Does anyone have any BBT advice, I think I should expect for my bbt to rise by up to .5 after ovulation, so over the next few days?
I think this may end up being a 30 day cycle (I flux between 29-31) but that still gives me a solid LP… I think?!

Hi Ladies, Joining as i had my nexoplannon implant removed last week as myself and husband are TTC. Bought the clear blue digital ovulation tests. First flashy smile today.

@Rockyslife I’m so sorry to hear that something from when you were a teenager is impacting you now. It’s always a concern whether previous infections can impact fertility later on and you definitely aren’t alone with having these concerns from the beginning / now. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that the procedure can unblock it for you and you can have some faith it’ll happen naturally, if not, as you say, next steps are there!

Please don’t give up, as you’re being so proactive and it’s a good thing 🥰 you’ve also not exhausted all your resources yet, there’s so many treatment options if they are fully blocked and you’re only at the beginning!! You aren’t alone too, any one of us could too be here in a few months as well! Xxx

Thank you so much, I guess ive known from day one of trying but I didnt want to pay the money incase we did catch afterall. I had a severe pelvic infection when I was a teenager and they did say the main side affect could be scarring or blocked tubes, this produce can unblock if its a blockage or a slight issue, but if the liquid wont go through the tubes we will have to look into the next step. Xx

@Rockyslife Did you have a feeling before you had your tests that they would suggest looking at your tubes?

I can only feel for you, and it must be so hard not knowing whether you’ll get your happy ending. It really sucks and you must feel like “why me”. But please know you will get your happy ending, it may be with a little help but they will help you and they are experts. I hope it all goes well for you and please keep us updated, and if you’re feeling down or having a wobble we are here too 💜 we are all in this together, 1 month or 7, natural or IVF x

I am trying to stay positive I think it's the fact that I soon will finally know if what I think the problem is actually is very soon. I have to have swabs next weds to make sure there's no infection as would spread further up, and if thats all clear I can then book my procedure, I hope itll be before xmas. I have attached the letter incase anyone wants to know more. X

@Rockyslife Hey! Ah so sorry to hear you’re feeling scared about it! Try be positive as you’re being proactive and if you hear they aren’t, then they’ll have treatments etc - even if it’s IVF, there’s such good success rates etc. I know it probably feels awful right now and you’re nervous but we are all here for you!

have you got a date of when they will do that? 💜

I thought id update you all on my private appointment, i have got to have a hycosy procedure to find out whether my tubes are functioning correctly, i am really scared but at least il have some answers xx

@Rockyslife so sorry to hear you’re out another month. Wishing you all the best at your appointment and hoping you get some answers.

im cd15 and usually ovulate cd18 so going to try to frequently BD over these next few days. Carrying on with vitamins, using ferti-lily cup during fertile days, I’ve been having 1-2 spoons of mucus syrup (meant to be good for ewcm) and using pressed/conceive plus fertility lube.

trying to be active daily, drink plenty of water and eat healthy foods. Let’s see what happens as this is cycle #11

@Rockyslife I know the feeling I feel like giving up as feel like I’ve been on hold for too long now!! We aren’t far behind getting tests done…I hope it goes ok tomorrow xx
