@Bananatoast123 im feeling like it won’t ever happen. 14 cycles in and I feel like it won’t happen for me

Bananatoast123 · 08/11/2022 09:58

Does anyone else spiral and worry it’ll never happen for them during their TWW or is that just me 😅? 6dpo and I’m hating the lack of control / having to let nature take control. Is there anything anyone does to help their mind / de-stress?

Purple29 · 08/11/2022 08:53

@BCxx yes, a long time in hospital and he struggled to put on weight (he only broke the 5lb mark when he was 9 weeks old) but he's now 2 and a half and the same size as all the other kids, and doing really well, hitting all his milestones etc. X

@Krisnov2020 Just outside Ayr 😊

BCxx · 07/11/2022 23:18

@Purple29 oh gosh, that is early! Was everything okay?

BCxx · 07/11/2022 19:12

@Purple29 I would only avoid March in case he/she came a few weeks early 🙈 but as you say more and more people are deferring now so it really doesn’t matter

Yeah a real worry for me, my DS was due in May so was 10 weeks early!! So a big fear for having a second. @Krisnov2020 I'm in the North East.

@Purple29 @BCxx I'm also Scotland. Where are you guys?

Purple29 · 07/11/2022 18:24

@BCxx I'm also in Scotland, think the cut off is end of Feb, March babies tend to be the oldest in their class. My DS is early March and he will be 5 and a half when he starts. With Jan and Feb babies you get the option to defer them (my niece and nephew are both Feb and my sister chose to defer them both) so don't let that put you off, there are options x

@BCxx not bothered about being young at school so much, I have a July baby and that’s fine for me. How many months have you been ttc? This is cycle 14 for me 😭

BCxx · 07/11/2022 16:58

@Mummyme87 I’m in Scotland too so the month(s) to avoid are February/March for a young child in their year so I feel like that rules out about 4 months from Christmas onwards and I can’t put it on hold that long 🙈 just need to hope this is the month!

Mummyme87 · 07/11/2022 16:53

@BCxx yes also keen to avoid late December and January babies. Would avoid Christmas and already have mid January child (plus myself). But when you’ve been ttc for so long it stops mattering

BCxx · 07/11/2022 16:48

@Mummyme87 yes I think I would be less bothered this time about people knowing early. It’s hard knowing you’re on a bit of a time limit! Suppose you’d only need to take a couple of months off to avoid it but it feels like a lifetime when you’re trying. When we started in august I just said I hoped it wasn’t due as late as Christmas next year as we have December and January birthday’s and would rather avoid it if possible! but I feel like I’ve only got a few tries left even to avoid that 🙈

BCxx · 07/11/2022 16:44

@Bananatoast123 that’s exactly what we did with #1, I would be 2 weeks further on this time though so wouldn’t feel so ‘eek’ 😬 I just don’t know what I’ll do if this isn’t the month, if it was next month I think I’d only be 5 weeks or something by Christmas so really wouldn’t want to be telling anyone then 🙈

Bananatoast123 · 07/11/2022 09:36

@BCxx I think we’d go for an early private scan just before Xmas if we were successful this month so we could tell family. But I’d be very like “with caution”. We don’t really see them often though so I think it would be the best opportunity to tell in person!

Mummyme87 · 07/11/2022 07:59

9dpo boobs still tender if I poke them. Cm continues to be white and mucousy. I was going to test this morning as thought I had a CB, I don’t! So can’t test. Not a bad thing though.

I probably only have one more cycle, maybe 2 at a push, I think to try before a short break as my sister is getting married in Rhodes next October so obviously a time I won’t be able to travel, after 36wks and up to 2wks after birth. I don’t mind people knowing I’m pregnant pre 12weeks. Really doesn’t bother me, I would rather people knew so if something went wrong I could be supported rather than it be a big secret. From a work perspective everyone finds out really quickly being in maternity, and my friends I would tell fairly early also.

BCxx · 07/11/2022 07:06

If this isn’t your month, will you try in December? I would be testing mid December and just thinking of all the dinners and nights out I would have to try and make excuses up at as to why I’m not drinking 🙈 I would only be 9 weeks by Christmas even from this month and was thinking would I just tell my friend’s if I’ve had an early scan. We’re at the age where anyone not drinking raises huge suspicion! I don’t know if I could hold off for a month to try again at the end of December though 🤦🏼‍♀️

Mummyme87 · 06/11/2022 22:10

I also had my ovulation bleeding a couple of days prior to ovulation

Daisy155 · 06/11/2022 21:24

@Mummyme87 thank you so much as well I think so too that the best explanation as today is meant to be my most fertile day, I tested in the morning and it was negative I will test again tomorrow morning and afternoon

I wasn’t aware of ovulation bleeding I have just researched and I have never had it. This is my first time having ovulation bleeding I have had pain before but not the bleeding

tba

Mummyme87 · 06/11/2022 20:57

@Daisy155 like ovulation bleeding. I had it this cycle. Also you’re very fresh postnatal still so periods may not have settled completely yet

Krisnov2020 · 06/11/2022 20:51

@BCxx yeah been doing twice a day since CD8 but nothing yet! I'm in agony tonight with it :(

Daisy155 · 06/11/2022 20:50

@Purple29 thank you so much that’s what I thought as well it’s too early, Today on the app is supposed to be my most fertile day, my periods are currently very irregular.

I will continue testing ovulation, I don’t know why I am spotting, I thought could it be AF again.

I had a c section 4 months ago and I don’t think that’s the reason neither I am not in any pain. I will continue monitoring. Thank you so much for answering xx

Purple29 · 06/11/2022 20:18

@Daisy155 I have had a little spotting around ovulation before, not sure if you're tracking but maybe that? I would have thought 2 weeks after AF would be too soon for implantation, but would depend on your cycle.
Even if it is implantation, if you regularly lift weights already it shouldn't impact a pregnancy, just make sure you seek proper advice from one of the trainers in the gym if you do get your BFP. 🤞 it's good news!!!

Daisy155 · 06/11/2022 18:54

Hi ladies so so sorry to jump in I have been really quiet because I had started ttcing after AF.

I am panicking because I have been going to the gym and today I have just seen I am spotting brown, I have just finished my period almost 2 weeks ago.

I was lifting heavy weights today :( 40kgs and stayed for an extra half hour, what if this is implantation?

Could this impact or complicate anything? 😔I am so nervous now. Or could it be AF back just after 2 weeks has that ever happened to anyone?

BCxx · 06/11/2022 15:09

@Krisnov2020 how long is your cycle usually? Definitely possible but would have thought opks would have risen, if you’re already ovulating now they could have peaked yesterday though, did you test yesterday?
