@mummatara POAS is literally the most depressing thing! I like the spontaneity of not using them but tbf, we are not the randiest of couples so I do it to make sure we cover dates. Saying that, this month I O'd on cd11 which is so unusual for me.

@emhope it's called a corpus luteum (sp?) which happens after you O. It's basically what produces progesterone. I'm surprised they didn't explain that to you? It's completely normal to have a cyst if you get scanned after O. I hope that reassures you 💕

@emhope your cyst is probably from where you ovulated. When I had a scan couple weeks ago they could see a cyst on mine and said it’s what develops after you ovulate and can stay there for 3 months they don’t seem worried about them. Sorry you’re feeling down, dh was probably just feeling ew with having a cold.

my bleeding is definitely getting lighter along with my test this morning if it wasn’t an early detection test I’d say it would be negative on a normal test. Dh and I haven’t dtd in around 3ish weeks so I’m ready to stop bleeding and jump back on it… although I now have a cold courtesy of ds so feeling like poo too

@emhope it's so hard and unfair. Feel free to rant any time, that's what we're all here for.
Just to reassure you about the cyst, I also have one on my left ovary and was told it's totally normal. "Ovaries are cysty things" the sonographer said to me.

@FfayeN me too lol I cba sometimes, I’m alright when it’s happening but it’s just the thought 🤣 some of my friends do it everyday just because they want too, I sometimes wish that was me🤯🤣

@emhope sorry you’re are feeling down 😔 I think DTD can feel so pressured and sometimes ‘forced’ when you know it’s a means to an end, I.e getting pregnant. My DH has struggled with it too in the past. Plus if your DH was feeling rough anyway maybe he didn’t want the added pressure. But I don’t blame you for letting it get to you, it’s hard not to take these things to heart and worry about them. I’ve been thinking about my lost little boy a lot too recently, not that I don’t all the time anyway but even more than usual. I’ve had quite a sad week thinking about him. It’s so unfair that this happened to us 🌺

@emhope oh lovely, so sorry to hear you’re feeling rubbish😖 I totally get feeling like you’ve wasted a cycle, but it’s so hard to dtd when you’re not well and you both know it’s purely to make a baby! I get what your dh is saying but tbh if he wants one as well he’s kind of going to have to suck it up and do it when he might not feel like it! We plan to do it everyday in the fertile week even if he doesn’t want too, you think they’d enjoy the extra sex wouldn’t you 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry this is a bit of a rant so feel free to skip this but just need to let it all out.. I’ve not been feeling great this cycle, me and OH had horrible cold last week. Only just feeling better now. Also gave up the OPK’s thinking it would make me feel better and more relaxed but I actually feel worse not doing them 😫OH didn’t initiate anything either around fertile time so have only DTD once on day 11 as I practically forced myself on him 😖 think it was because he felt poorly which is fair enough but now feels like have wasted a month of trying and had a bit of a row about it as he said he doesn’t like having to plan sex so much but then how am I meant to get pregnant if we are not DTD in fertile time…feel like I can’t win 😔
Also had my scan today and have a small cyst on left ovary. Reading up says shouldn’t impact fertility but is that 100% true? She also couldn’t see a dominant follicle and said could be that I have already ovulated but I’m only day 14 (usually ovulation on day 13 going by OPKs last 6 months) so surely it wouldn’t have disappeared that quick?! Now worried something is wrong with me and not ovulating. Just feeling awful about this whole thing and like giving up but I want a baby so so much. Can’t stop thinking why did we have to lose that baby, it’s so unfair as I would have been 35 weeks by now 😢

@bunnykins123 it is thank goodness. I think most likely nothing retained but good to be sure at least. I haven't bled other than a random wipe on Monday for a week. Temps are nice and low which reassures me even more. Now we just wait and see. we've been dtd every few days and it's been so nice not to poas. I think in my mind I've written off anything happening this cycle it's so nice to feel chill about it and just enjoy spending time with DH without any pressure of will it happen or wont it happen. Im in a really good headspace atm too

Hi gals - sorry I've not been as active recently. Just beginning to find this all a bit too much and I'm feeling horrible all the time as the hydroxy means I have every bug out there. I think I've got a uti now so it's looking like the drugs are well and truly suppressing my immune system. I hope everyone is doing well and it's so lovely to see so many bfps! Xx

@RainbowSearching even with a peak I worry about actually ovulating or not so I definitely feel you with the anxiety, hopefully you get that solid smiley soon xx

@RainbowSearching ah okay I use them too! I normally have a couple of days of flashing to then solid, I get quite a few days of ewcm before peak too so I seem to just produce loads of estrogen maybe?🤣 I guess with the one you’re using it’s just waiting for that peak which might be a day or 2 out? Xxx

@ChloeN I’ve always used the clear blue advanced previously, and generally go from 1 or 2 flashing smiley days to solid smiley. This month I’ve went for the pink version (Amazon were all out of advanced!) which just go from circle to solid smiley 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know I shouldn’t already be worrying, it’s just so stressful thinking about possibly wasted months.

@RainbowSearching I totally get how you feel but please do not worry ❤I ovulated on day 13 one month than day 18 another month, it absolutely does not mean you will not ovulate this cycle ❤

@RainbowSearching pretty sure I always ovulated day 14, first cycle after mmc was day 15, had a chemical last month and it was day 17 this month! I feel like my hormones are still all over the place. Do you get a quick LH surge? Mines nothing to a peak within hours really xx

Did anyone’s ovulation change post miscarriage? I had my first period pretty much bang on 28 days after passing the tissue, and I’m currently CD15 and still getting negative OPKs. In the last 12 months or so I’ve never had a negative test at this stage! I know it’s only a day or 2 different but I’m already worried I won’t ovulate this month 😫

@lovenaps no they are a suspicious bunch 😂 anyway, I do want to have a few drinks and enjoy all the Xmas parties. I’ve been pregnant the last two runs up to christmas (plus xmas day last year), I’m looking forward to my wine advent calendar 😅
