@Mariabombia yeah, I've had some months where I did not take OPK just because did not feel like it. I usually like to alternate and one month I use OPK and then the next month I don't. One of the pregnancies was without OPK and one was with OPK. I was planning to not use them from now on but just want to check that I ovulate because my last cycle was strange... I did not use OPK last cycle though, it was just the length of the cycle that was strange.

OPK still positive today and in fact very dark, much darker than yesterday. This month we were so good with constant regular DTD but at this point we are exhausted and both could cry 😂If it does not work this month, we will have to do it less frequently next month and just hope for good luck!

We are both joking that if this all works out, we won't DTD until we want a second child 😅

@lovenaps I'm glad you're feeling positive girl! I think that's the best way if you can. We went to a fertility specialist who advised us to bin them opks and just try to dtd as frequently as possible, every 2-3 days throughout the month, & tbh it took the pressure off for us!
Ahh interesting, that was DH's thought, might just cause unnecessarily stress and might not be that accurate.

@Mariabombia thats understandable it would stress me out too if I didn’t get the result I was hoping for! 😫 I’m CD10 at the moment, normally ovulate on day14 but was cd15 last cycle! I think I had the chemical last cycle too but was a very early one if it was so hopefully everything will be normal!

@RainbowSearching 100% I was panicking after hearing people say it was 10 weeks before they get a period 🤯 must be awful to be still hanging on!

@lovenaps we are in this together! 🙊 I’m unsure about whether to test or not! I’d say 2 weeks but 12dpo I’ll be accidentally falling on a FRER 🫣😂

@lovenaps I’m doing ok-ish thank you so much for asking. Still can’t believe it’s took me all year to get pregnant and then when it’s finally happened it’s all gone pear shaped! Just my luck :( I am trying to just get on with it though and not dwell on it too much. How are you doing?

@ChloeN It’s such a relief isn’t it - there’s always the worry that it will be a long drawn out process til AF reappears. And when you just want to get on with TTC again it’s so stressful!

@Mariabombia speaking of week tests, do not quote me on this but I remember reading they were banned in US (maybe in some states?) as they were not being accurate and a lot of people were getting stressed out!

@Mariabombia I am okay, feeling (strangely) positive about the upcoming TWW but at the same time - I know if the test is negative it will hit me hard!
This cycle we DTD all the time, e.g. even though I got a positive OPK, we will still continue DTD until much later in the cycle. I am not allowing OPK to dictate when we DTD (do not want to purely rely on it), just want to know the date for ovulation for when we have an early scan, assuming there would be one. My local EPU offers an early scan after two losses (maybe they do after one as well, not sure) so I was told I would get one next time, assuming there is a next time!

Sorry that was meant to say *dh doesn't want me to do one of those clear blue week tests.

@bunnykins123 thank you! It's such a slog isn't it! I'm going with letrozole as evidence suggests that those with PCOS respond better to it.

@TheBirdintheCave I totally get where you are coming from, but I have just gone ahead with making all the plans now, as I wouldn't want to resent that lost time. I always thought I would just manage, and if I had to cancel anything, it would be for a really happy reason.

@LuckyMoonstone it's great that you have a female GP to see- it's not right, but I do think that makes such a difference in how sympathetic, and therefore proactive, they can be towards your situation. Like you said, you now meet the criteria for more support, so hopefully you will get a good plan in place. I hope you're doing okay x

How long did everyone stop poas after they got a positive? I keep doing it every other day but need to stop really. It's just comforting to see the line get darker :/ i wasn't like this before the mc.

I'm about 19dpo and it's really dark but not a dye stealer, hope that's normal!

@RainbowSearching my period was like that after mmc, it’s crazy really how quickly things return to ‘normal!’

AF arrived today, my first since MMC, and only a day off exactly 4 weeks since it happened. So all in all I’m happy that it looks like things are back to “normal” and we can begin trying again.

@theblueflowers well I’ve made an appointment with a female Gp for the start of Nov, hopefully she will take me more seriously. And combined with the fact that I’ve had 3 MCs as well, I’m hoping to be referred for some more investigation. I would consider going private if I have to
