@Sailawaygirl I started bleeding 3 weeks ago and stopped 1.5 weeks ago. It's def coming down quicker than it did with my first MMC but I had surgery that time and it took 6 weeks to drop to negative.

bunnykins123 · 22/10/2022 11:59

@ChloeN interesting so many ladies had colds after getting a bfp. I defo have a cold at about 5 weeks with DD. I've already started popping Sudafed, I literally can't stand not being able to breathe.

@mummatara there is nothing better than seeing a fading line 👏 so happy it's finally going down!

@bubble55 defo a line - congratulations!

RaliaMusca · 22/10/2022 11:02

I'm also always ill in early pregnancy. Currently on my second cold in three weeks. Last time I had an awful cough that lasted for ages (not Covid). I'm also pretty sure I had a chemical pregnancy in May that didn't stick because I had such an awful bout of sinusitis complete with high temperature that I was only able to get rid of with antibiotics. Why do our bodies make it so bloody difficult?

HalWin2221 · 22/10/2022 11:01

@bubble55 can definitely see a line! Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏽

Sailawaygirl · 22/10/2022 10:50

@mummatara how long is it taking for your levels to go down?
@Luna57 my 2 weeks is on Monday and I stopped bleeding 4 days ago but still showing a weak positive on pregnancy test. I'm hoping it gets to negative by Monday as I would rather not have to go back for extra scans ect.

ChloeN · 22/10/2022 10:50

@bunnykins123 mines just a cold atm but I can’t really breath I’m so bunged up😑 I’m working this morning and I everytime I talk I sound so weird 🤣

@lizziecat1 both times I’ve been pregnant I’ve been ill so it probably is connected or just really really bad luck🤣

@Indianna2006 i hope this cold is a sign of something then🤞🏻🤞🏻

Luna57 · 22/10/2022 10:36

@SailawaygirlI started bleeding 2 weeks ago today and passed the tissue 6 days ago. I’ve just stopped bleeding completely as of last night I’d say I’m negative now but I’ve not tested. I’m due to have a scan on Monday but I think I might call to cancel it I think it would be a waste of time.

@RaliaMuscawith my last Mc I only bled for 2 days which makes me wonder was there maybe something retained while my tests were negative? I had actually no signs I was really ovulating after the Mc I had positive OPKs and EWCM 2 weeks after I tested negative, 18dpo still negative so I just waited for af after that I had water for cm literally no stretch to it or colour just water and 2 weeks after I initially thought I’d ovulated that’s when I must of ovulated. I’m in 2 minds to just try when I’ve EWCM or to wait for af but because I’ve bled so much this time I don’t know. My cycles would be quite long as well they’ve always been like that.

@FfayeN i really hope the pink cm doesn’t does progress to anything. Could just be the wee bean getting comfortable in there. My 12 week scan appointment letter came in the day I started having my first mc.

@RaliaMusca my mum was also 3 months along before she found out she was pregnant with me. It was just before my brother and sisters first birthday and she opened a tin of tuna and nearly passed out and she just thought ‘aww fuck not again’ she had 3 under 2 years old.

@Mamaseekingrainbowsorry to hear of your loses! I truly think there’s a connection between covid and loses etc I don’t think we’ll find out any of this for a long long time though. With my first Mc I also had a bad feeling I just knew something wasn’t right when I tested positive (I cried many tears and thought how will we do this ds was only 10 months). With this Mc I was iffy but optimistic but with both the Mc I never had any symptoms. With ds I didn’t have many symptoms but had sore boobs, hunger and nauseous.

Indianna2006 · 22/10/2022 10:20

@mummatara deffo on its way out 🥳🥳

@bubble55 deffo can see a line on that!

@lizziecat1 I think it is actually a thing. If your immune system is too active an can prevent implantation. So it does almost lower a bit and initially I think you are more susceptible. I’ve always gotten colds sore throats. Ulcers in my mouth first few weeks of being pregnant. As your immune system is busy else where I think.

mummatara · 22/10/2022 10:18

So I know I've had good blood test results in the last week to show level is coming down but there's nothing quite like seeing the weeks difference on a pregnancy test 😆

TheBirdintheCave · 22/10/2022 10:10

@bubble55 Yep obvs a positive 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fuckallthetories · 22/10/2022 09:46

i can definitely see a line, even without squinting!!! Eeeekk. 🤞🤞

lizziecat1 · 22/10/2022 09:36

I always seem to get ill at the same time as I get a positive pregnancy test - usually just a cold/weird ear infection. Last time it was norovirus. Not much fun! Perhaps it does mess with our immune systems, although that does seem a bit of a design flaw! (3 of these pregnancies went on to be completely normal, so no obvious link to mc etc)

mummatara · 22/10/2022 09:35

@bubble55 I can def see that line not even a squinter 🤞🏼 eeek good luck

bubble55 · 22/10/2022 09:33

Can anybody see a line?

I had a chemical in June, didn’t conceive August, another chemical in September and if this is right it was conceived two weeks after my chemical. I’m scared to get my hopes up. I’m 9dpo.

bunnykins123 · 22/10/2022 09:33

@ChloeN haha funny you say that, I actually get I'll every 2ww too! This isn't just a bug though, this is covid territory - man down, rough as old boots and generally feeling utterly rank. How are you feeling?

Fuckallthetories · 22/10/2022 09:11

just bought these for next week fingers crossed!!!!!
Pregnancy tests!!

ChloeN · 22/10/2022 09:09

@bunnykins123 seems like everyone’s ill😖 I’ve definitely caught a cold from the snotty kids round the swimming pool🙄 seems like I get ill every tww, maybe it effects my immune system 🤣

bunnykins123 · 22/10/2022 09:03

@pangolin84 welcome back lovely! Great to hear from you. Urgh covid sucks, hope you're feeling a bit better. I'm dying of something similar at the moment although all tests say it's not covid 🙄 pounce on DH this morning if he doesn't stink like a brewery!

TheBirdintheCave · 22/10/2022 08:07

@Fuckallthetories Tired as the toddler vommed in the middle of the night so we were cleaning sick off the wall at 2am 😂

Your name makes me laugh as I'm a Tory (not that I like the party at all at the moment and haven't voted that way for a few years). 😬

FfayeN · 22/10/2022 07:44

@pangolin84 hello again lovely 🥰. Absolutely, you could be right on point if you can get one in this morning 🥰. How have you gotten on DTD so far this month? xx

Fuckallthetories · 22/10/2022 07:38

That was one heck of a night Blush

how are you all this morning?

mummatara · 22/10/2022 07:20

@RaliaMusca @TheBirdintheCave funny how they are all so different. So far he's still happy to hold my hand but he is only 20 months I know it won't be long before that's out the window too 🤦🏼‍♀️

@pangolin84 welcome back lovely ❤️ glad you're feeling better I think I remember you were changing jobs? Oh how typical you'll have to pounce on him this morning hangover or not 😂

pangolin84 · 21/10/2022 22:56

Hi everyone, not sure if anyone will remember me - a lot seems to have happened since I was last on mumsnet. So happy to see there have been some BFPs! Just had to take a month off TTC to recover from covid and get my sh!t together (not sure if it was 100% successful but we’ll see).
Brief background: I had a spontaneous MC at 6 weeks in Jan 2019, then DS born 2020. Missed MC in June this year which was surgically managed, swiftly followed by a chemical in August. I’m about to turn 38 as well so it feels like a race against time.
Currently on CD13 and just got my peak on OPKs this evening, however DH has gone out drinking for the evening. Typical!

TheBirdintheCave · 21/10/2022 22:29

@mummatara Yep. Mine is a wander-walker too. He has to stop and pick up every pebble, hug every lamppost and poke every drain 🙄

RaliaMusca · 21/10/2022 21:43

@mummatara oh I wish my daughter was like that, she's four and still wants to be carried everywhere like a baby. She can spend an hour climbing and running on the playground but the 50m walk to the edge of the park is too far for her 🤦‍♀️
