@Indianna2006 congratulations on such a lovely scan! 😍 I'm going to go against the grain just for fun and guess boy for no reason other than to be different to others guesses 😂

I haven't told my just turned 2yo yet but pretty she knows something is a bit different - I'm convinced she's dry nursing and she gives my tummy gentle strokes and little kisses too, it's quite cute! 14+1 now but still haven't told my family either, despite a lovely scan, the anxiety is still there for me massively and I just can't seem to shake it enough to tell anyone 😭 @calimc83 how are you getting on?

I've missed so much on this thread, about 400posts apparently? @LuckyMoonstone hope you're doing ok now recovering?

TheBirdintheCave · 17/10/2022 20:46

@Everythingzrosie I see a slight shadow! Fingers crossed :)

Everythingzrosie · 17/10/2022 20:40

@Indianna2006 oh congratulations what a great picture snd yes she looks like a girl 😍
so my dd said ‘mummy are you going to have any babies in your tummy?’ She’s 4. Then ds poked my tummy and said ‘are you pregnant again?’ I wouldn’t mind but my ds is 24…
so I took this today. I’m only 8dpo

@calimc83 Ah I’m ok thank you it has been a bit shit but I’m glad it’s over

@Luna57 aww I’m sorry, hope you’re feeling ok x I feel like I’m giving birth to baby jellyfish every five minutes 😂

@MrsCristianoX I’m so sorry you’re feeling so low and dd is sensing it. It’s like having dogs. One wee tear could come down my cheek and my wee dog would come over and lick it. She’s been extremely needy with me this pregnancy to the point where she’s on edge when ds comes near. She loves ds but I think she knew I needed protection.

@HJA87 i have a ds who is 13 months and I was the same. First cycle and no complications. I kick myself every day from the first mc because I had bonding issues from bump to ds being 4 weeks old. I didn’t realise in my mind that there was a baby inside me so every scan etc they weren’t exciting because it was just expected yep there’s a leg, there’s a heartbeat. Even when he was born, because it was emergency forceps I never seen or felt him coming out I couldn’t put 2 and 2 together. I remember just handing him to dh and I was numb. I could barely care for ds for a couple weeks after because of the pain I was in with a massive episiotomy. And was only one day I watched him napping at 4 weeks old and I just cried and thought omg that’s my son and it clicked! I’ve been obsessed with him ever since and never been more in love.

@cocoforbes so sorry you’ve found yourself on this threat. It’s a great support group we are all like minded. When I told my mum last night about having another mc she was very sympathetic but said the timing just wasn’t right. Which rattled me 😂 so sometimes coming here can give you more support than ‘just wasn’t meant to be’ 😂 I’m sure that was a shock finding out you had coeliac disease without having symptoms. How have you found the gluten free diet?

@calimc83 thats lovely to have a wee surprise. Have you 2 dd? I always said to dh the next one we wouldn’t find out the gender. I knew from day 1 with ds he was a boy so wasn’t shocked when they told us at 16 weeks. But I swore with the next successful pregnancy I wouldn’t even look at the heartbeat to see how fast or slow it was beating or read up on old wives tales I just wanted it to be a complete surprise. Hope these 2 weeks fly in for you!

@Luna57 that must have been really tough. I’m glad you recovered quite quickly as I know a traumatic birth can cause long term issues for some people. I’m sure it’s still difficult when you look back at that time. I had a planned section so actually a really nice and calm experience. However a few days after birth I had some issues with my pelvic bone which basically meant I was unable to walk for 2 weeks or even sit comfortably. It pretty much forced me to stopped BF as I just couldn’t sit in one position for hours on end and I really regret that 😔

Luna57 · 17/10/2022 20:21

@Indianna2006 what a lovely scan! I’m over the moon for you! Your dd will be so delighted!

@calimc83 did you are very tell your family? I feel like the last time we asked you they were in Greece?

@LuckyMoonstone i feel you, I had awful cramps earlier. Lasted about an hour and then gone again. I definitely passed the tissue last night it was massive and veiny. I showed dh it because I still think he’s in disbelief it’s over and he couldn’t believe the size of it. Really hoping the bleeding eases now.

Indianna2006 · 17/10/2022 19:56

@cocoforbes not entirely sure yet if we will find out. I think we most likely will. Just to sort out stuff we kept from DD rather than storing it for longer.

@calimc83 yes we will tell her end of this week once we get combined results or at least don’t get a call for high results anyway. Also she’s so clued on for a 4 year old. She’s already said mummy why is your tummy so fat 😂 she will gather soon anyway. She’s 4 going on 14. Honeslty 😂

calimc83 · 17/10/2022 19:41

@Luna57 I have one of each! 😬 so a surprise will be good..xx
Had a bit of a stress today, first consultant appt and my blood pressure is high. Not sure if it's due to me being anxious about my previous losses. She said to get it checked on Monday and then every 2 weeks after..now stressing about pre eclampsia 🙈. She also gave me a last minute scan as the equipment was in the room..I hadn't prepared for that at all! 😬 xx

lovenaps · 17/10/2022 19:28

@Indianna2006
So so happy for you! ❤

calimc83 · 17/10/2022 19:25

@Indianna2006 omg! 😍 I'm so so happy for you. So exciting you are planning on telling your DD as well..still not told mine 🙈😆. Bet u feel so relieved now your scan is out the way..@Mariabombia No not at all! Just means your placenta is at the front so u don't feel those early movements quite as much @LuckyMoonstone I hope u are ok tonight? It's good that everything is finally clearing out for you but still awfully sad 😞 xx

cocoforbes · 17/10/2022 19:24

@Indianna2006 wonderful news! Such a great photo, thanks for sharing! I also know nothing about nubs but am gonna guess girl too! Are you going to find out the sex or keep it as a surprise?

RaliaMusca · 17/10/2022 18:55

@Indianna2006 so exciting you're planning to tell your DD soon ❤️ my DD is also four and I really hope I can tell her about her sibling in late November.

i think my DD is psychic. The day I found out I was pregnant in June, she started asking for a sibling. A day or so after I had the surgery after my MMC, she completely stopped mentioning it. Then I found out I was pregnant again and that same day she said "Mama, is the baby going to sleep in my bedroom?" So strange!

LuckyMoonstone · 17/10/2022 18:36

@Indianna2006 ah thank you for your sympathies! Literally been fine all day and then suddenly this evening it’s gone horrendous 🙈 but I’m grateful for it I guess

Indianna2006 · 17/10/2022 18:29

I was genuinely like omg it’s in there 🙈🙈 sounds so silly but just kept thinking the worst. Sonographer said it seems very happy in there dancing about ☺️

can’t wait to tell our DD now. But we’re waiting until weekend when we tell our family too. She is going to be SO excited. And we’ve waited such a long time for this. Now she’s 4 she really will understand and actually it’s going to be lovely. It was meant to be So now I be mummy to two rainbow babies ❤️❤️🌈🌈 my DD and this little one. How precious is that.

@LuckyMoonstone prob cos it is like the end of something more than period. Alwhas make it heavier and worse symptoms I felt. Ugh that period aching is the worst. Hope it eases up for you

ChloeN · 17/10/2022 18:22

@Indianna2006 glad everything went well☺️☺️ congratulations lovely xx

FfayeN · 17/10/2022 18:10

@Indianna2006 massive massive congratulations lovely, what a great photo too 🥰. It's actually made me feel quite emotional. Xxx

@Indianna2006 ah that’s so amazing! What a great pic 😁

omg guys this is the most painful period I’ve had in a long time 😫 my uterus is full on aching like it’s been to the gym 😂 and literally radiating all the way to my arse 🤣

MrsCristianoX · 17/10/2022 18:09

@TheBirdintheCave how right you are 😂

MrsCristianoX · 17/10/2022 18:04

@Indianna2006 ❤️❤️❤️ massive congratulations 🥳 I'm notoriously wrong for guessing scan genders but I think a little girl head..💕

RaliaMusca · 17/10/2022 17:57

@Indianna2006 yay, so lovely to hear your good news and to see little baby! I'll say girl as well.

TheBirdintheCave · 17/10/2022 17:48

@Indianna2006 Amazing news! I feel like a good 12 week scan is like a graduation for us here 😂

theblueflowers · 17/10/2022 17:44

@Indianna2006 amazing news! Such a great photo. I have no idea what nub theory is, so to go against the grain I'll say boy!

mummatara · 17/10/2022 17:44

@Indianna2006 eeeeek what a great photo ❤️ I have no idea on nubs but I'm going for boy 💙 im so so pleased for you. It's always the worst near the end of the day because they are invariably always behind 😭

bunnykins123 · 17/10/2022 17:41

@Indianna2006 awh great news! What an adorable little baba. I'm going with girl guess too! 💕

Blue2020 · 17/10/2022 17:32

@Indianna2006 great scan photo, and that’s great news.

I will guess girl, purely a guess though.
