@FfayeN pregnancy after MC is such a wild ride isn’t it, your emotions/thoughts change from minute to minute 🙈 at least if you’re working away it could go pretty quickly? 🤞🏽

FfayeN · 22/10/2022 19:27

@HalWin2221 I can, at 6 weeks. However I'm away working solid from 7-9 weeks so I wasn't going to incase the news was bad or the heart beat just wasn't showing yet and then I'd be spending all that time away from DH. Then I had a little pink CM yesterday and I thought actually maybe I will go for reassurance. Today, no issues so back to not wanting one 🤣. So I'd say anyones guess is as good as mine at this point! It changes daily. I think if it all seems well with no symptoms I'll wait until I'm back. My previous early ones didn't alleviate the worry really, instead they got my hopes up.
I know what you mean too...the weeks feel like months! x

@FfayeN are you going to book for an early scan? I’m only 4+1 but I got my first positive a week ago! Feel like I’ve known forever 🙈

FfayeN · 22/10/2022 18:56

@Fuckallthetories The new thread is already there waiting 🥰

@HalWin2221 only 5 weeks, so a very long way to go! How far along are you now?

@bunnykins123 yes my cycles were very regular (29-33 days) and I knew when I ovulated. I had my MMC on 19th august. 1st period 24th September. 2nd is due Monday 24th October so fallen straight back regular. I hope that’s a good sign. Just a bit perplexed as to the shorter ovulation signs and pre Af spotting but hopefully that will stop.

MrsCristianoX · 22/10/2022 18:35

@bunnykins123 I'm ok. Super emotional this week though. Have been in tears a few times. DH is walking on eggshells 😂 Hopefully it's all the hamster food I've been eating and my body is just missing the cholesterol. Bloods done again 24 November so will miss another cycle 😞

bunnykins123 · 22/10/2022 18:29

@MrsCristianoX how are you doing? How are you feeling?

bunnykins123 · 22/10/2022 18:19

@Everythingzrosie if you have regular cycles, I would guess (I'm no expert!) that you are neither peri or menopausal. I do think as we get older our cycles get a bit wobbly. I've just had a 25 day cycle but had my bloods taken at the beginning of the cycle - they were perfect so there was no reason for it being shorter than normal 🤷‍♀️

HalWin2221 · 22/10/2022 17:53

@FfayeN at least knowing I’m not alone feeling like this, is comforting! How many weeks are you now? Xx

Fuckallthetories · 22/10/2022 17:50

i think we need a new thread!!

MrsCristianoX · 22/10/2022 17:46

@Everythingzrosie I know lovely..44 would be early menopause too I got hormones checked but there's such a range of levels anyway and they came back as normal. Sorry not replying earlier was at work trying to lock up and some crazy person started banging the shutters 😱🤯 you have a little one anyway? I'm on 6 week (medicine induced) break but my youngest is 16 I think my body has forgotten what to do

Everythingzrosie · 22/10/2022 17:39

@FfayeN thank you, it’s reassuring to know that ☺️

FfayeN · 22/10/2022 17:38

@Everythingzrosie my cycles didn't settle until about 4 months after MC (I still ovulated and they were fairly regular but weren't my 'normal'). Hopefully they will go back shortly 🥰.
@HalWin2221 nope I'm with you girlie...each day is dragging quite substantially. So also in the same boat of partly wanting to keep busy but also partly not wanting to do anything and over do it! X

Feeling so anxious today about being pregnant again, I’ve tried to keep myself busy but nothing seems to be taking this feeling away 🙁 anyone got any tips?

Everythingzrosie · 22/10/2022 15:07

@MrsCristianoX oh that’s good to know x maybe I need to give my body a bit of slack x

Everythingzrosie · 22/10/2022 15:05

@MrsCristianoX I’m 44 so I’m really paranoid (& scared) of menopause because it means the end… 😩🫣 I want to decide the end, not my body. I want another baby! My cycles have already settled into my pre MMC cycle so that’s good but noticed my 5 day ewcm until ov is now just 2 days.

MrsCristianoX · 22/10/2022 15:03

@Everythingzrosie ooh and I spotted for 2 cycles after miscarriage. No spotting since 🙏

MrsCristianoX · 22/10/2022 15:02

@Everythingzrosie I don't think so 😂 I was sweating yesterday started thinking early menopause..but hopefully not. Cycles still regular 😅

Everythingzrosie · 22/10/2022 13:50

@bunnykins123 I hope it is the MMC that has caused my hormones to be a bit off like you say x

bunnykins123 · 22/10/2022 13:49

@Sailawaygirl I agree with @mummatara regarding how quick / slowly levels go down. I had a MMC at 10.5 weeks and my levels were stupidly high so took me almost 3 months for the levels to come down. There was nothing wrong, just took an absolute age!

@Everythingzrosie I think spotting before a period is normal. I sometimes spot, sometimes not - always have done. I think hormones can be a bit wobbly after a miscarriage though so I wouldn't worry 💕

Everythingzrosie · 22/10/2022 13:39

Hi ladies, 12DPO, 2nd cycle after my MMC and I’m spotting. I never spot before AF but since my MMC both cycles I’ve spotted, no sore boobs so think I’ve got low progesterone. Plus I’m getting dizzy spells. Maybe I’m entering the menopause 😩

mummatara · 22/10/2022 13:18

@Sailawaygirl I know what you mean I had no idea it would take so long I kind of thought you had the mc then poof you just carried on as normal 🤦🏼‍♀️ it wasn't until I started chatting to the ladies in here that I found out it was so normal for them to take a while to drop down. I opted to wait for it to happen naturally this time as I thought it won't be such a shock to the body and will come down quicker. Guess it all depends on how high it was to begin with I had a blood test the week after I found out it was likely an empty sac and my level was 79000 so it had a long way to drop.

Sailawaygirl · 22/10/2022 13:12

@mummatara wow for some reason I thought it would come down faster after mmc or surgery. There really isn't much detailed information about MC on 'reliable' sources. I'd have been so lost without forums and reading real ppls stories
