1dpo - it's going to be a long two weeks if anyone wants to symptom spot with me

@emevol as I understand it, the HCG starts building up immediately and can be detected in your blood immediately but it takes about 2 days to filter into your urine. When I had my chemical, my line on a test was still pretty strong even though I had a blood draw on the same day which showed HCG to be about 17 (which is super low). This was because the pregnancy test shows the levels from. 2 days prior (when it must have been a lot higher).

@emevol my understanding is it can take up to 48 hours for hcg to build after implantation

Does anybody know how long it usually takes from suspected implantation, to a positive test? Is it days??

Hmm, I have started spotting. I usually spot from around 8dpo but I am hoping it's implantation spotting as i did have this with my one successful pregnancy from 9 to 11dpo.

I just looked back at my 8 DPO tests from my chemical and the AM tests do actually have a vvvvf line so now I’m thinking my BFNs this morning mean the I’m out. Argh wish I wasn’t so obsessive and just waited like a normal person 😂

It's hard to know what to think isn't it. I don't want to get my hopes up in case it's not happening for me this month. I don't really understand how my body can go from full on cramping etc etc yesterday to normal today 😂😂

@emevol i am with you! I am 7dpo and half of me wants to think I'm out but the other half is holding out hope.

Hi everyone. I’m now 8dpo. Have been reading along with you all the last few days and spotting similar symptoms but telling myself it’s far to early for them to be pregnancy related! Also had cramping at 4/5dpo and twinges but these have gone and now no symptoms at all.

I was trying really hard not to test until 10dpo on Saturday but I caved and got a BFN this morning. Thankyou all for the pep talk on this being way too early this morning. It was much needed!!

Tested this morning -BFN :( I’m only 8 DPO so know it might still be early especially as previously I got my BFP on 8 DPO but late in the PM. I dont really have any symptoms though so have a feeling this might not be my month. I’ll be testing again this PM.

Yes I think I might be jumping the gun!! I think I'm 7-8 DPO! so probably too early even if there was a slight chance I could be!

I tested this morning thinking there could be some chance of a faint line since yesterday I honestly had soooo much cramping and back pains! But nothing 🥹

Woke up this AM with a very weird taste in my mouth, not sure I would say metallic though, but it's still there even after brushing and breakfast.

Holding out testing until most likely Sunday, this is our first cycle TTC to know it's highly unlikely. AF due Monday.

Tested this morning and it's stark white - half of me knows I'm out this month, half of me is holding onto the hope that it could just be too early 🥹

I had so much cramping yesterday but today feeling absolutely fine! Only sore boobs (nipples) more tender than sore though I think..

7 DPO today, AF due this time next week.

Thankyou @sunflower25049 I needed this today ❤️🥰 BFN at 8dpo but know it's early still. No symptoms here now either, cramping has stopped.

When is everyone's AF due? Mine is in a weeks time according to last cycle and apps.

@emevol with my last pregnancy I had a clear line at 9DPO.

Last month I had the worst evaps on like 4 different FRERs I just don't trust them so really should just wait but I'm out for dinner tonight and want to have a few wines

I tested this morning, 9DPO.

I swear I can see a squinty line but I don't trust FRER as last month I got an evap that looked just like a line and I was so disappointed.

Can anyone see it?

@Mortima - it really is.... it's the longest 2 weeks ever. But I think most ladies on the thread are at least 7 DPO now so we are all on the home stretch 😬 PreMom says for me to test on Tuesday at 12 DPO so I'm going to try really hard to hold off until then. Last 2 months I've started at 9DPO and it's just absolutely heart breaking. Yeah I've read the same about BBT dips to predict implantation but I had a dip this morning so going to see if it goes back up tomorrow and keep everything crossed it's a good sign!

@emevol - what an amazing achievement for you both! Sorry I missed your message yesterday but please keep your chin up, we are all in it together. I had a really hard 2WW last month and am feeling differently this month. I will be gutted if AF comes but trying not to be gutted when I don't know yet. We all have our ups and downs, that's why we are all here to support each other. Keeping everything crossed for you, you've got this 💪💪💪

This TWW has been really hard this time around .. first one since giving up after two years of trying with no luck..

DP and I have now lost over 18 stone between us since February in an attempt to better our chances but I feel like I've put more pressure on myself this time.. I don't know why!

Having said that, the way I felt yesterday I've never had before in any other TWW. Maybe that's why I was fixated on it 😂😂
