1dpo - it's going to be a long two weeks if anyone wants to symptom spot with me

I think I'm around 8/9 DPO today. Had cramps on what would have been 6ish DPO. X

@emevol what day dpo are you?? I had cramps too but they have subsided now.

@Chaoscontrol fingers crossed for you! I'm hoping I'm a little early for a BFP, too.. I had really strong cramps Wednesday, sore boobs yesterday and today very localised cramping in my lower left tummy..
Apparently after implantation it can take 2-5 days before a BFP test!

I think I caught the tiniest bit of spotting this morning at 8dpo.. Almost non existent. But, I never bleed outside my period time so.. I'm hoping this is a good sign. I also cannot stop burping and have waves of sickness all morning.. I of course tested after line eyes made me think I had a vvvvvfl on a test yesterday, which came back this morning as a bfn..

I'm trying to stay positive. This is way harder than imagined. 2 weeks has never gone so slow in my life.

Anyone had a bfn 8dpo which turned into a bfp? Xx

@Mayfield87 ttc #2 for me. I have a 20 month old daughter.

This is month 3 of trying. The first month I had what I think was a very early chemical (had a BFP on 9 DPO followed by BFNs and my period came on time). Last month I had an early MC at 5 weeks. This month I didn’t even get as far as conceiving by the looks of it. I’m 35 so also a little worried as don’t have masses of time. I have an appointment on Monday with a consultant specialising in fertility/ miscarriages and hopefully she will schedule some blood tests so check that everything is in order. GP wouldn’t refer me so I’m doing this privately which will cost a bit 😬but I’d hate another non-sticky BFP.

@Mayfield87 yep I'm TTC number 1. My partner and I just got married last month, had our once in a lifetime honeymoon and are now trying to conceive after trying for 2 years perilously; with no luck.

I'm 25, he's 28.. I thought maybe it would be easier than this. I think I put too much pressure on myself.

I had fertility tests last year and all came back fine, with no issues. Only issue was that at the time, I was 21 stone. So They suggested weight loss. I had weight loss surgery in February, along with my DH, and we have now lost 18.5 stone between us! Again, I think the new weight loss has got into my head a little and is making me put even MORE pressure onto myself - there's really no reason why it shouldn't happen, now.

@emevol @HJA87 are you ttc number 1?
I lose track of peoples journeys if I'm honest so I apologise.
My af is due next Thurs apparently so I know it is early days but I just have a feeling it's a no go this month.

Yep totally get this obsession @HJA87, all I can advise is keeping busy. Booking nice things in the diary to look forward to also. It does help a little.

Can I ask, how much are people BD'ing around ovulation? We did 3 days in a row over ovulation but have read it should really be every other day?

I've not been lucky enough to ever have a BFP, but I can imagine I'd be the same!

Haha glad it’s not just me @emevol. Sadly, it doesn’t get better for me even after I get a BFP because then the ‘line progression’ obsession starts 😄

@HJA87 I know the feeling, I'm at work on my own in the office today, I've done nothing but Google what this symptom means, what that means.. honestly it's all consuming! 😅

Does anyone else feel totally consumed with TTC and like your can’t focus/don’t care about anything else. If I don’t get a BFP very soon I might lose my job as I literally can’t focus on work at all. It’s now 11:35 and I’ve done zero work just been obsessively staring at my BFNs trying to conjure a line. I wfh so can get away with doing very little on quiet days 😬

Just read my last post back - I didn't mean suspected ovulation- lol! It was meant to say suspected Implantation.

Thank you @Mayfield87 ! It’s nice to know we’re not alone. I did another test with SMU around 10 and saw like a shadow of a line but have since tested again (because I’ve completely lost any self control at this point and just shipping those tests out like their free) and BFN, not even a hint of anything. So I think it might have been my wishful thinking/evap/indent😔 I’m hoping my AF shows up on time on Tuesday/Wednesday.

I get the same obsessive thoughts. Wondering if it's something wrong with me, etc.. it's awful isn't it!

I have been googling this morning and it does say it could take 4+ days, after suspected ovulation; for a BFP.. I'm trying so hard to hold onto some hope!!!

I am having very slight cramps again today, but nowhere near as intense as Wednesdays..

I have to squash down obsessive thoughts tbh when I get a negative test such as secondary infertility, am I too old now etc which are irrational and nothing other than my thyroid issues is there to suggest this.
Just got to keep busy I think and stay positive for the next cycle when Af does arrive.

Was trying to hold off testing but caved this morning and BFN at 10DPO. Feeling a bit deflated.

@emevol and @Mayfield87 , same here, BFN this morning at 9 DPO. I feel so disheartened😩hope you two are not too down about it but I know it’s really hard 😒

@blueberry23 congratulations! I’m glad at least someone got good news! I really hope it sticks. After my MC last month I know the feeling when you can’t get too excited until further along 😔

I get myself so confused! As I've seen varying answers - some people say implantation will happen and then takes 2 days for HCG to show on a urine test.. others say it takes 3/4 days.. confused!

@TheBirdintheCave you’re right, there is still time for it to happen. My bbt dropped today so I thought it might be a sign of my period coming (which it could be) but I just read that a one day drop in bbt can indicate implantation. Sorry to hear you weren’t well, how are you feeling now? Thankfully it happened after ovulation!

@justbelieve it seems like you did catch ovulation, though I appreciate how confusing and worrying it can be when you aren’t quite sure. I have been considering red raspberry leaf tea as it increases the LP, I have a 12 day LP which can impact on implantation if there isn’t enough time. I know my SIL also drinks it for morning sickness and it can induce labour/help contractions.

@Indiana2018 thank you for the reassurance I think its because with all my other pregnancies I tested positive around 8-10 dpo x

@emevol it really doesn’t. I feel in the 2 week wait my mind runs away thinking this might be the month, and when AF arrives it’s as if I’m grieving for all those thoughts. I have a DD about to turn 17 from a previous relationship, and DD12 with DH. We have wanted to try for another for a while but it wasn’t the right time until 10 months ago when I had my coil removed. Seeing my DD’s grow and be less dependent on me is hard too and I have such a yearning for a baby. It’s so hard to explain.

@Cindy974 10dpo is way too early to count yourself out! Only 10% of people get a BFP at 10dpo. You’re not out til AF shows!

@YEN1 I know the feeling. Been trying to conceive for 2 years with no luck. Decided to take a break to loose some weight. This is our first month trying again, pretty sure I'm out this month already. The pain never gets any easier 🥹

9dpo and feeling really down today, have a feeling we are out. Really disheartened after 10 months at 36 time isn’t on my side.
