@emevol I found Flo to be wrong last cycle so use Premom alongside it aswell as OPKs.

At least I feel if I have two apps they are covering all bases lol x

emevol · 07/10/2022 15:08

@Indiana2018 I use flo, and I do the same - track everything :) it definitely helps!

emevol · 07/10/2022 15:07

@Mayfield87 I know the feeling, I've been having more light cramping today too. My nipples are also really tender, and they look bigger? Blush

I'm going to look back at my posts in a week or so and be so embarrassed at how insane I sound, I'm sure 🥲😂

Mayfield87 · 07/10/2022 15:05

@HJA87 I'm also ttc baby number 2. I have a son who turned 3 July just gone. We had to wait until we got 30 hrs free childcare to start trying. This is only cycle 1 so no it's probably unlikely I would conceive first time even though so many friends have done so.

emevol · 07/10/2022 14:10

I must be a strange one, but it's the 2WW that I can't stand! It's all consuming, feels like I can't focus on anything else..
I've had the odd twinge lower stomach again today, seems predominantly on my left. Not sure it means anything..

👆🏻 100%. I'm absolutely fine the rest of the cycle but the tww or should I say 17day wait for me is awful and I starting getting really down. But that could also be pms related. I really struggle to focus on anything including work which isn't healthy although I am pretty good at not testing early I automatically just assume I'm out. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Indiana2018 · 07/10/2022 15:04

@emevol haha twins!

Do you track with an app? I use clue and it helps so much, I track everything now, all symptoms etc and sex

Mine varies from 27-30 days but is usually 28 days! Very lunar lol

Mayfield87 · 07/10/2022 15:03

So I'm cramping again @emevol but Af not due until next Weds/Thurs. Also had an upset tummy- ahh more symptom spotting 🙈

emevol · 07/10/2022 14:59

Oh we really are cycle twins! 🥰😂
Thank you - I'll take a look at that!

I don't really know how long by cycles are as they seem to vary by a few days every now and then, so I feel really uneducated when it comes to my body and cycles 😂😫

Indiana2018 · 07/10/2022 14:57

@emevol sounds like you ovulated from your left! (So did I lol snap) lady who scanned me mentioned that I was and all my mid cycle pain was on my left!(6/7 dpo)

Even if you’ve never experienced it before there’s always a first time for everything!

also this video helped me- this lady has a short cycle and took all these tests at 10dpo to compare them

emevol · 07/10/2022 14:50

Thinking back actually to last night, I was just about to go to sleep when I had this HUGE 3/4 second long stabbing pain very low down in my stomach, Left hand side. Most of what I've been feeling has been on my left.

Again, probably nothing but gosh it made my eyes water! 😂😂🥹

Indiana2018 · 07/10/2022 14:48

@emevol they sure do!

keep us updated on this thread and I’ll do the same- nice to have someone going through the same thing!

emevol · 07/10/2022 14:45

It definitely helps, thank you!
I most likely am out this month. I know my usual pre-AF symptoms but what I felt Wednesday / yesterday was really different! Almost like stabbing pain in one spot.

Don't our bodies like to play tricks on us 🥲😂

Indiana2018 · 07/10/2022 14:43

@emevol just remember that normal symptoms during the last week of your luteal phase are almost identical to pregnancy symptoms and are irrelevant to wether you’re pregnant or not, as pregnancy symptoms only begin once you’ve implanted (I know you probably know all this but sometimes helps to have a reminder).

also symptom spotting is REAL we get so obsessed that we notice every little minuscule feeling in our body!

One thing I did last cycle which has massively helped, is note down every single ‘symptom’ I experienced, just in case they weren’t pregnancy symptoms (they weren’t as I wasn’t preg) and have looked at them this month to remind me that they’re normal symptoms and I’m unlikely to feel actually pregnancy symptoms until 10dpo.

Sorry to rant on hopefully some of this helps 😂

emevol · 07/10/2022 14:36

@Indiana2018 oh yes that definitely makes sense! As the days go by I'm getting a. It more anxious that this month I'm out. I had really really strong symptoms Wednesday.. today tested and got a negative, not sure I've got much more hope now. I'd have thought if I implanted Wednesday it would be faintly
Positive by now.

Indiana2018 · 07/10/2022 14:34

@emevol can’t relate I’m always impatient 😂

last month I drove myself mad testing from 8dpo and I honestly think it made me more mad seeing the negatives because I knew I still could be? Dunno if that makes sense haha

emevol · 07/10/2022 14:32

@Indiana2018 I can't stand the not knowing! This is the only part of my life where I'm absolutely awfully impatient 😂😂😂

Indiana2018 · 07/10/2022 14:31

@emevol neither had I until my last two cycles! So I went to the doctor about it to get things checked and they gave me a scan and said everything is fine- strange!

Definitely don’t lose hope! You’d be one in about 0.5% of people to get a positive at 8dpo!

I’m going to try my best to wait until Monday, I can’t stand the ‘am I or aren’t I’ of a negative test when you’ve tested too early!

emevol · 07/10/2022 14:26

@Indiana2018 thank you Grin I'm trying to cling onto some hope. I've never ever had any cramping of any kind during my 2WW before - so this is very new for me.

I want to try and hold off now, AF due Tuesday / Wednesday.. but I know I'll probably test again tomorrow lol!

How about you? X

Indiana2018 · 07/10/2022 14:25

@emevol if it’s any comfort, the majority of women don’t implant until 9dpo, some 10/11 dpo so 90% won’t get a positive until 11dpo (with early detection test)

Also I get cramps/spotting every cycle at 7dpo- I believe it’s due to Fallopian tube contracting and progesterone levels- so that might be what you’re experiencing as well

fingers crossed for us, when do you think you’ll test again?

emevol · 07/10/2022 14:20

@Indiana2018 ohh yes we must be similar timing wise! I tested this morning and unfortunately got a BFN.. but I'm still experiencing symptoms so not sure what to think. I'm holding onto the hope that after implantation, it can take some time before getting a BFP. Xx

Indiana2018 · 07/10/2022 14:19

@emevol were around the same time in our cycle, I’m 8dpo today- have you tested yet or are you waiting? I’m waiting until Monday to be 11dpo 🥶

emevol · 07/10/2022 14:10

I must be a strange one, but it's the 2WW that I can't stand! It's all consuming, feels like I can't focus on anything else..

HJA87 · 07/10/2022 14:08

@justbelieve I’m already wishing this month away so that I can be in my next 2ww😃so sad

justbelieve · 07/10/2022 12:59

TTC is weird, I’m so excited to get up in the morning and check my BBT and take tests even though I know I’m too early for a BFP, but then instantly afterwards I want it to be nighttime so I can sleep and do it all over again.

This is my first time and I’m already losing my mind!

Mortima · 07/10/2022 12:46

Solidarity to everyone who's feeling out...I haven't tested yet but still no symptoms, so my hope is waning a bit.

I find this site useful: www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/results-by-day-past-ovulation.php - so if you were pregnant at 10dpo there would still only be a 66% chance of getting a positive result, which does leave a reasonable margin of hope.
(Disclaimer: no idea what data they have used to get those statistics, but I'll take it!)
