@MillieKitty i can definitely see a line!

congrats, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you

MillieKitty · 31/10/2022 13:15

@Wrenegade thank you, If I ovulated last sat or Sunday then im about 8/9dpo I think, im very shocked, I've been struggling the last week with constant tummy pain so the doctor is actually ringing me later so that is lucky! After my chemical I am very cautious about getting too hopeful, how you feeling?

Wrenegade · 31/10/2022 13:11

@MillieKitty I don’t usually see the lines that everyone else does but I see this! Tentative congratulations! How many dpo are you?

MillieKitty · 31/10/2022 13:06

Sorry @Peeonastick22 I tried to find your thread!

So I just did a test after a week of bad tummy pain and I think it is positive, line eyes please!

Hey all, I’ve made a new thread, come and join!

Mortima · 30/10/2022 13:24

@Wrenegade Definitely looks good for ovulation on CD15 or possibly CD16, I think you'll be fine either way 🤞

@Misspotterscat No personal experience of a BFP yet, but I would be cautiously optimistic about any symptoms that aren't usual for you, from about 6DPO onwards.
It is very hard to differentiate between AF signs and pregnancy though! I was convinced in cycle 1 that I was pregnant as I had never noticed sore boobs before, but now that I'm paying attention I definitely get them every cycle from around 3DPO to 11DPO. No idea how I didn't notice them before 😂

MillieKitty · 30/10/2022 12:31

Yeah trying for number 1 @Mortima
Good to hear you're feeling optimistic! Well I tried the relax approach this cycle by dropping the advanced clear blue opks but it's actually made me more stressed 😂

Thanks @Wrenegade hoping this is your month, definitely looks likely that cd15 was the one

@Misspotterscat when I got a bfp before I don't really remember many symptoms other than bloating and fatigue but I suffer with those anyway! I'm about 7dpo and have backache and vivid dreams, I wish we could just know immediately after ovulation whether it worked, would save all this over-thinking!

8dpo today and Cycle day 22. I am symptom spotting 😩 I have lower back ache and it’s spreading to my lower abdomen and thighs. Anyone else had this at this point in their cycle and it turned into a bfp? My cycle varies between 27 and 33 days usually. I think this may be AF signs or just my brain imagining things ☹️

Wrenegade · 30/10/2022 11:46

@MillieKitty I’m sorry you’re finding it draining. It is such a rollercoaster of feelings. It’s hard not to be hopeful and excited each month. Praying this will be your month!

@Mortima It sounds like you’ve really hit the window this cycle. You’re absolutely right there is so much potential at the start of the TWW. I feel like I am attempting to go with the flow more but keep an eye on BBT and LH to ensure I have ovulated and rule out the possibility of not having done so.

LH has begun to drop. CD 13 was completely negative and with no results for CD 14 (although maybe 1am on CD15 is a good indicator) I’m thinking ovulation probably happened CD15 🤞🏻

@Wrenegade Thanks 😊Baby dust to you too...regarding dates to DTD, so far I've been aiming for at least 3 days during the fertile window, ideally including ovulation day or one day before, but it does depend on life! This cycle has been easier due to being on holiday, so we did: CD14, 15, 16, 18 and 20 (ovulation on day 19).
Your working patterns sound challenging, glad you managed to make it work this month!

@MillieKitty Sorry you're finding it draining - I am a bit as well, and also only on cycle 4 but haven't experienced a chemical or anything, that must have been really awful. Hope it's 4th time lucky for both of us this month - is this #1 for you too?

I'm 2DPO, everything feels optimistic at this stage...does anyone else find it all quite a lot of 'admin' - OPKs, BBT, supplements, working out dates for DTD/pregnancy testing? Or are people just going with the flow a bit more?

MillieKitty · 28/10/2022 18:02

@Wrenegade i feel quite drained TTC tbh even though it's still early days, didn't ever visualise it being this hard! Sorry to hear you were told that, I'm praying for you that it isn't a struggle, anything can happen! 🤞🏼

@MillieKitty ah that’s really interesting I knew that a short LP after ovulation could effect implantation but I didn’t know ovulating before day 11 might effect conceiving! I’m really sorry to hear about your chemical loss, how are you feeling on your journey?

Yes we did, dh works 9-5 and I work late shifts so it is typical that in my most fertile window we would completely miss one another for three days. Luckily he was able to come home at lunch yesterday and today. It is my second cycle so still very new to our journey. I was told last year that we may struggle so I’m trying to be as laid back as I can.

MillieKitty · 28/10/2022 17:11

@Wrenegade thank you yes I'm hoping CD11 was the one as I read that ovulating before CD11 means less likely to conceive! Did you manage to DTD just in case ovulation was yesterday? This is cycle 4 for me, chemical loss on cycle 2, what about you

OP posts:
Wrenegade · 28/10/2022 16:53

@MillieKitty yes it looks to me like the evening of CD 10 is likely to have been ovulation. Which means you will have hit it with DTD. I’m very hopeful for you too! What cycle is this for you?

I didn’t test yesterday morning as I had no tests, hence testing when I got home at a silly hour. So I have no idea what the rest of the results of yesterday would have been so it is possible yesterday was the day or like you said there will be a second surge. CD 15 today so I will keep testing over the weekend.

MillieKitty · 28/10/2022 12:06

And I've just realised I didn't test twice a day at the beginning so I bet it was one of those evenings

OP posts:
MillieKitty · 28/10/2022 12:05

@Wrenegade oh how confusing! Yeah maybe your body tried to release the egg but actually didn't, so you'll probably surge again

@Mortima that is great timing for a fertile week!! It'll be a lovely story if you get a bfp that you conceived on holiday!

Well I definitely think I've missed ovulation, I've attached a picture of my tests, I was getting EWCM on CD9 - CD11 (I've been known to ovulate quite early before) and my tests look darker that day, DTD on CD10 & 13 so going to stop testing now for my own sanity and I'll be hopeful anyway!

Wrenegade · 28/10/2022 10:11

@MillieKitty it sounds like maybe it will be later this month. Definitely keep going.

@Mortima what lovely timing for fertile week. Do you plan DTD for specific days of your cycle or do you just go with the flow? Sending baby dust.

I got back from my shift at 1am this morning and tested, I got a positive but at 9am this morning it was beginning to fade so I’m thinking the test detected a surge from yesterday whilst I was working. Will keep testing to ensure I don’t miss it.

Mortima · 28/10/2022 09:15

@MillieKitty do keep testing and DTD if you can, you might just be ovulating late for a whole variety of reasons.

@Wrenegade it's such a pain when your ovulation day is so variable!

I'm on holiday this week, so nice timing for fertile week - finally got a peak OPK yesterday, after a false start earlier in the week when it rose a bit and then fell. Hope we've DTD enough, would be good to go again today but we're flying back and might be too tired when we get in.

Hope everyone else is good, and looking forward to another 2WW...

MillieKitty · 27/10/2022 10:51

@Wrenegade I tested twice a day from Tuesday, I'll keep going as their only cheap and will order some better ones for next cycle, that's good that you're DTD over two weeks as that's definitely going to give you more of a chance! Sending baby dust! 🤞🏼

OP posts:
Wrenegade · 27/10/2022 10:01

@MillieKitty don’t loose hope yet, I have used cheapies for two years and found that they often don’t catch my LH surge, are you testing more than once a day? You might also be ovulating later so keep going! I did read that there needs to be 25 mUI/mLis of LH to be detected on the test but plenty of people ovulate at just 20 mUI/mLis which wouldn’t produce a positive test. Sending you baby dust.

Similar to you, predicted ovulation today but I’m not sure. Last month I really focussed DTD around predicted ovulation where as this month we are just trying to regularly DTD this week and into next as I know I can ovulate anything between CD10 and CD18.

MillieKitty · 27/10/2022 09:29

Hi @Wrenegade hope you're good, my Flo app predicted Tuesday ovulation but I have been doing the cheapie tests and no peak yet, been testing since last Saturday! So not hopeful this month, I've obv missed it somewhere, only dtd sat and tues so we will see! Definitely going back to clear blue next month, How you feeling about this cycle?

OP posts:
Wrenegade · 27/10/2022 09:24

Hi all, I think a lot of us are predicted to be ovulating around this time. How is everyone feeling?

Peeonastick22 · 26/10/2022 13:17

@Sunshine085 thanks! I’m just worried because the last few months we’ve only managed to dtd two days before and it hasn’t worked but I suppose that could be for many reasons!

Sunshine085 · 26/10/2022 13:15

@Peeonastick22 can't answer your question, just wanted to say that 2 days before Ovulation and 1 day after isnt the worst. You are still definitely in with a chance of getting your BFP this month.

MillieKitty · 26/10/2022 12:59

@Peeonastick22 oh that is annoying! Whilst I don't know the answer to your question I'm interested to see if anyone else has any tips!

I was meant to ovulate yesterday but my cheap tests said I wasn't, I'm taking a break from the expensive clear blues this month so I'm worried I've missed it now! Oh well will keep testing 😆 hope everyone is okay
